Just did this fight solo with my lore bardadin. The rest of my party was also there, but I made them invisible on turn 1 and had them stand in the corners. Didn't do surprise round, just pre-cast spirit guardians before the conversation. During my turns I cast eldritch blast to apply radiating orb and generate lightning charges. It was glorious. I even used a couple divine smites on Viconia to get the non-lethal victory. Forgot that she has radiant retort. Then I let her go and she took her loot with her, and broke my oath. Oops. Also failed the mirror of loss even though I had advantage, rapture, guidance and jack of all trades.
Wow that channel divinity: cloak of shadows ability looks cool. maybe if trickster clerics got that they would be slightly less useless lol EDIT: Also I appreciate that you actually recruited all of the companions(?) and are just keeping them safely in camp on vacation while you're the single breadwinner going around killing everyone lol
I think trickster cleric's need a lot more to be usable 😅but at least they would look cool btw i have only shart at camp + dead jahiera lying around and astarion and minthara are safe in the chest 😁(i sewer it's not my fault durge is taking control Helppp!!!) Edit: Shadow monks have that same ability at level 6 ( probably gonna do shart justiciar run with it after this run )

I managed to sneak my entire party to the raised platform at the very end of the room via some arcane gate bullshittery without triggering the dialogue. Still got my salad tossed by those mooks first try.
@@MortalWombat1988 @MortalWombat1988 Those stupid sharans keep spam darkness and bone chill on my first run i respected shart into healing cleric would dispel the darkness with daylight spell and then another sharan would just cast it again 😶and barely managed to win after loading to a previous save😅 (was on tactician )
Its actually a problem for a full necro wizard. If you have too many combatants the ai breaks and enemies (or non-party allies) just skip their turns after 60s of doing nothing. Made the storming the tower fight in act 2 really boring and take over an hour
@@mythicaledeg TBF I was running myself, gale, and shart as necromancers for that so we had like 12 skeletons, 2 quasits, a couple elementals, and scratch. That plus the harpers and the absolutists is a *lot* of turns even if it worked right it'd have been a slog. Running modded this time so upcasts just make better versions instead of multiples (greater zombie vs zombie, crossbow skele vs bow, etc) and its running fine
I didn't understand how the bit at the end works. Shouldn't sacrificing stats result in only a +1 increase in the chosen stat? I thought you had to give up the Forbidden Knowledge to get the +2? Does the durge interaction change it or what?
No, You don't need to sacrifice more than one stat there i once sacrificed all of my stats for + 2 then remove curse to get them back but you only need to sacrifice one stat i think i passed the religion check alternatively you can also read the Hastily Written Note found in the Night Orchid Cave behind a breakable wooden wall in the House of Grief's Armory. you also need to bypass a 5 hidden roll or so the wiki says but if you did the mapping of heart and succeeded in religion roll you should be able to offer 1 stat(-2 for your chosen stat) for +2 on any stat you choose
I believe how it it works is that after you pass the religion check to offer a prayer, you sacrifice a stat and it’ll roll a random chance to give any of the outcomes from nothing, to the patriars memory, to shar’s gift.
Yeah, I think that's how it works (btw i see your comment about Book of thay Summons but actually it's invisible for some reason. so yes you can summon 9 ghouls if you have a level 6 spell slot animate dead works with Danse Macabre
Hey there have 5 ghouls (4 from Book of thay necromancy + from our level 6 necromancy passive ) 3 from upcasting animate dead with lvl 4 spell slot (+from level 6 necromancy subclass passive) and the undead mummy comes from the crypt lord ring (after helping Thrumbo and killing mystic carrion Thrumbo will give you this ring ) Hope that helps 🤗🤗🤗 here is a video on the build if you are interested: czcams.com/video/VTDqoME5Io8/video.html

that sounds Epic👌! you can go back to the mirror at any time you want so you can still do it

me 😂 i did this on my first run lost 3 of my companions (couldn't heal them) and ran up stairs with my Tav Ranger Archer carried solo though 😅

Took me about 5 attempts to do it. My MVP ended up being as hastened Gale with Astarion also getting in some excellent ranged sneak attacks.
