This was really awesome! I loved the tactics and how you really controlled the fights. One question, why didn't you use Viconia's Shield's Reflection? IIRC that will reflect the MFs magic missiles back at them.
There are a few reasons I don't use it. Magic Missiles does not do any damage to the Illithid Arcanists, they have "Shield". I also need to keep my Bonus Action for "Click Heels". I don't worry so much about their Magic Missiles, I don't want to be in range to get Mind Blasted or Counterspelled. My strategy versus the Illithid Arcanists is to use AOE spells from out of range of their Counterspell. Ice Storm because it has more range than Shatter, possibly inflicts prone and does bludgeoning damage as well, the "Fire Shield: Warm" gives 2 of the 4 resistance to cold damage unfortunately. I have gotten Counterspelled significantly less using AOE than direct damage in previous runs.
This just popped on my FYP and wow, I really want to play this build one day. Just a question, what did you do to get 24 WIS? I thought the max was 23 due to mirror of loss, hag's hair and ASI. Usually Khalid's gift gives +i, but you were wearing the amulet of greater health.
You can get 24 here as a result of the "Gather Your Allies" buff from Halsin, for successfully completing "Lift the Shadow Curse" and having him survive Act 3. It gives +1 to all Attributes. I planned ahead before entering the Morphic Pool. It's actually possible to get higher than this. You can get 26 Wisdom for all of Act 2 with 20 base, +1 from Hag's Hair and +5 from Dark Lady's Awareness.
