Best drone video that I have seen on operating the controller. most people are really rushing through it or this and they talk a whole lot about this and this and it kind of takes you away from things but you were on point and talked slowly. Great job!

Hi. If you buy the standard combo I believe it only comes with one cable. You can use any charger for that purpose

i did the same thing, flew my dji mini 2 se into the street and a car hit it.. walmart replaced it as i told him it came like that since it was an hour after opening the box 😂

Hi Otto. All your video tutorials are great and easy to follow, that's why I love the way you explain things. Could you please do a video addressing particularly the battery charging the controller and DJI mini 2 battery hub, issues with charging and how to store the batteries after use? There's misconceptions on this topic and I am sure many would be pleased to get this part right. My DJI mini 2 combo is 3 months old but charging the 3 batteries is taking almost 24 hours on the battery hub, is that normal? Thanks again.

You can use the record screen function on your phone, it should record your voice as well, but I feel that doing a voice over will be better if done in post

hello Paco. There is a propeller guard that you can buy for storage, I honestly don't use on of those, and I simply place the mini 2 inside any bag that I am using (dji or non dji) but being careful of the props placement so they don't bend. not sure If you get my point

Is there any special controller orientation that works better for signal strength to the drone? I see on the older controllers there are anttena's but not on this controller for the MINI 2. I also see they sell extenders for the new controller as well.
with this new controller you don't really need extenders.
The top thing that is holding our phone is the antenna. Ideally you want to point the drone with them. This are very good questions, I should hire you before I come up with a drone video! 😊

it will connect but working with the ipad like that is not easy. I would buy another cable. Controller end is usb-c, then to the ipad's lightning port.

You are welcome. It shouldn’t take a long time to connect. Try turning on the controller and open the app, then turn on the drone
@@OttoJulian_ I tried that many times still no luck..this issue only happens at my house in the parking lot..anywhere else it connects in seconds..I realized I could live with that cause I don't fly much at home anyway.

Mini 2 is amazing. Don't try to grab it when in air. It took me up about 20 feet before I figured that out. Not really but it has some serious power behind it. Can handle 10 mph wind like it isn't there.

Hello! The A50 is a mid range smartphone, and you should not have any problem with the drone or app. Enjoy the drone!
BTW you can download the app before you buy the Mini 2. Search for dji fly app

I am Juan Carlos, from Spain, I follow your CZcams channel and I really like your tutorials, wonderful as you explain. I saw that you also touch on drones and I wanted to ask you a question. I have a DJI Mavic Pro with a DJI Crystalsky 5.5 "and I get the problem that when I have half the drone's flight battery I get the message that crystalsky is going to turn off due to overheating. Do you know what the problem could be? we were at an ambient temperature of 30 degrees. Thank you
I don't have any experience with the Crystalsky monitor so I really wouldn't know what's going on, but 30 degrees doesn't seem to be so hot and it might be the monitor that has an issue.

Just got my 2 SE and couldn't get it to take off. I guess I need to press the button. BUT - I don't yet have the SD card, and it's giving me a "preflight" error that I don't have the SD card. Will it not fly without it?
It should fly without an SD card, it never happened to me with this specific drone but I have forgotten to bring a memory card for other newer drones and I had to fly just for fun with no recording...
did you check other errors or warnings?
@@OttoJulian_ I'm a total noob with drones, this is my first one. Thanks for the reply - I found out there's a button on the left side of the screen for takeoff, and in the DJI video I finally found, pulling both sticks towards each other and down should start the rotors spinning.
I flew RC airplanes many years ago so I suspect actual flying won't be a HUGE challenge, but getting used to the equipment has been a learning experience. :)

Great video, I tried to connect my phone to the controller and I get the message: RC not connected to the mobile device. Has this happened to you before? The drone is new I haven't even had the chance to fly it yet. Tried different phones, different cables and I receive the same outcome. Any ideas?
Not really. Did you follow all the steps from the video? Also, there is only one end of the cable on the controller that works. When you look at them they are on the same position (both ends inserted into the controller) but one of those holes is empty and the other one is the one connected to the controler
