  • 1963 Chevrolet introduced the first-ever production Corvette coupe - which featured a fastback body with a long hood and a raised spine that ran the length of the roof and continued down the back which split the rear window into two halves to its distinctive tapered rear deck.     Such a fantastic looking and sounding car. A week or so ago someone shared online a photo of an old magazine article explaining how to perform a "DIY split window delete" on these. I bet anyone that did that ended up regretting it! Another well-made video.

    I am related to Louie Chevrolet and I have my Corvette that I got when I was 16 years old and it's the last one with the small glass in the back it's a 1977 Corvette

      Yup. You'll find a lot of people associate the E-Type with a 12 cylinder even though they were (in it's most pure form) 6 cylinders originally.
