The Audi R8 is the definition of a Halo car. Halo cars are a high point in technology, design, and desire. They show off the best of what an automaker is capable of. The point is to bring attention to the brand, and buyers into the showroom, not necessarily for the halo car itself, but for the next best thing, it’s standard automotive line up.

Hello sir 🇮🇳 India, like your job work you are perfect for technical work sir 🙏🌹 God bless you and your family members 🙏🙏
Fantastic classic car in a beautiful film. After one winter storrage, the rental fees have been paid with the car itself 😅
She’s knows her stuff.. !
Only Legends , Like this video
Roger was the only thing I liked about Chasing Classic Cars. Their loss. Roger is absolutely correct about Crossle's, I race a 1978 32f. To misquote R&T's Peter Egan, it is the nicest handling race car ever built.
ROFLMAO! Do you even know what a hot lap is?
great intro and solid video
..Salut my friend super car super video subscribe subscribe
Superb ! is great ! 😊 ❤❤❤❤❤❤ from : Tom。
Ein wunderbarer Film. Danke. Wird Zeit das mein 120 FHC wieder rennt... 🙏
Pretty car. Owned a 1953 XK120 FHC MC for 15+ years, (a 96 point car by the way) However.. Use only Once ! brakes (Fatal Fade) And abysmal handling as there was Nothing other than the leaf springs, to locate/stabilize the rear axle So it Moved.. a Lot. A far better car to look at than to drive.. absolutely true.
What else to wish for, a GTV6…….. (MiTo Benzina owner here😎❤)
when I was 19 years old I sat in one of these in a showroom in Coral Gables Florida. It was my first encounter with a foreign car and I was in love with it.
I was lucky to own and daily drive a 1953 XK120M FHC when I was a teenager in Los Angeles in the 1950s. It was an incredibly agile car and moved up and down the gears with heel-and-toe shifting seamlessly. I remember memorizing the timing of the signal lights in the San Fernando Valley and routinely driving from one end of the Valley to the other without ever stopping. This required quickly attaining speeds in some cases that may not have always stayed within the posted speed limits. On the high-desert roads outside of Los Angeles the car reached 120 mph and seemed capable of going on forever. A factory set of twin exhausts on the modified FHC produced a throaty, soul-stirring roar that has always remained in my ears.
The car is simply splendid, and the production quality of the video is perfect.
Reminds me of petrolicious
The first car I fell in love with. Assembled a model car of it. Most beautiful ever.
Fantastic
He often sparred with Wayne in there little on screen differences..I really thought they were a team though and life long buddies
Thanks for this piece. Roger was and is a master craftsman. He is what he loves to do.
I've always wanted a Caterham but this would be he one car that I'll take over that.
2023 All 1963 Split Window C2 Corvette Sting Rays Should Have a Rear View Mirror Camera Screen Like the Land Rover Defender 110.
without a doubt a great man
Beautiful car ! My absolute favorite car of all time. I eveny you. Thank you for sharing!
Such a simple, romantic video. You could feel the passion he had for this brand. I want one!
We need more Roger Barrs in this world.
Miss seeing Roger on TV
I always looked forward to the appearance of this person. Great humor. And great charm! The perfect combination when this amazing mechanic was engaged in ancient cars! The spirit of that era is in it!
Poor Man’s Porsche didn’t fit the S2 Cab. It’s base price in 1990 was $48k. That was a crap load of scratch in that era
My first automobile when I was 18 years old in 1959 was a white 1952 XK120 FHC with disc wheels. The gearbox was loud and a bit tricky to shift, the handling at low speeds was like a truck, the brakes were not up to the top speed of the car, but I loved that machine! I would go on to own an XK120 DHC, MGs, Alfas, Volvos, BMWs and Mercedes Benz cars. That first Jag convinced me that I was not going to be happy in a country of Chevrolets, Fords and Chryslers, so I moved to Europe in 1965 and never looked back. That Jag changed the course of my life and I will always be grateful for it.
Beautiful 👌👌👌
Not boring at all.
I’m still dumbfounded by Carini , so glad your doing well ! You were the charm at chasing classic cars . Best wishes at the Paddock!
Thats how some people are, its sad
A great human being, humble and never say die kind of person 🎉🎉🎉❤❤
Roger , great , interesting and honest talk . Loved watching you on the Carini show , much more fascinating than his wheeling and dealing . Pity he wasn’t as genuine with you as he was with his clients . All the very best to you .
It's 2023 Roger You Are A Tremendous Inspiration To Me And All Gear Heads All Over The World Thank You For Your Unselfish Years Of Incredible Knowledge! Be Well Mate! :)
This was great to hear, miss you,all the best, story time or a walk through the shop on semi regular basis would be great
Excellent car, I prefer it with its rims and steering wheel
Although we've never met, he comes across as a class act who is humble despite his great talents. So we are all glad to see that the final chapters of his life will be conducted in a happy and rewarding place where his worth is recognized.
Roger is a professor in cars and a great guy thanks for a god show.
Definitely a class act, and should be certified as a national treasure as far as automotive restoration is concerned. Why Wayne decided to let him go via mail still makes me question his sanity. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors👍👍
Roger was the best thing about Chasing Classic Cars, the man is one of a kind and I'm glad to see he's content. You would think with their history Carini would have taken care of him.
He's got decades of knowledge, can work on some really obscure stuff and as a bonus, they can keep him there just for the PR value talking to old farts about old cars. It's the perfect retirement job.
Why have 3 wheels, when you can have 4
It’s such a beauty! Especially if it’s not only white, as many of them.. Totally in love with😍
Hiya. Many thanks. Just for your information. Malvern is pronounced MOLLvern as in Gangster’s Moll. Not MALLvern as in Shopping Mall…. Unless you Guys in the US call it a MOLL??? ha ha. No big deal either way. Loved your vid by the way. Does anyone in the US buy or use Moggy 3 wheelers ? Or is it just us Brits who are a bit “tapped” in the head ( that’s mad by the way)…. I’ve got a 616bhp Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio by the way. But guess what I went out to play with in the snow last week here in Bewdley ???… must admit it was a bit chilly but. Proper good fun. Regards. Rog
