Some people call this their favorite car ever! What do you think?
Always has been my favorite. The only Corvette which can be immediately identified by the year. Was $3600. new. I remember when they came out.
C3 is pretty hard to top....the split window is nice thought, funny they discontinued it so quickly and now it's the most popular feature.
2023 All C2 Corvette Sting Rays Spit-Window Should Have Rear View Mirror Camera Screen Like a Land Rover Defender 110.
The original Z06!
Absolutely my favorite car model of all time. First year of the Stingray, and only one with the split window. Looks stunning in Sebring silver too.
When you talk about a classic. THIS is what you’re talking about.
Note the Black Ghost in the background - that car has a history...to say the least...
Gorgeous car, I watch the Mecum auctions 6 hours a day for the past 4 days...... Can't get enough of it, one stunning car after another!
Gawd that is a gorgeous car...
What a beautiful car, not to mention the 383 in the engine bay.
Beautiful car.
Yesterday I saw Jay Leno driving a car identical to this one in Burbank. Wonder if he's the one who bought it.
Syrupy sweet!!!!
Good to see the stupid bubble is rapidly deflating.
Those valve covers, air cleaner and Wilwood master cylinder look so cheap and out of place on that car. If you are doing an update in the restorod style at least try to use some decent period correct looking parts to do the upgrades. Car looks great until you open the hood.
Agree about the air cleaner and valve covers, the master cylinder is fine because it makes it safer and driveable...that's a good thing!
Wow a beautiful car their . I Called right 150k
Wowwwww
My father's 1963 split window sold for $250K...
Engine swap prob hurt this one a bit even tho you get the original engine with purchase
I absolutely loathe fake vents or any fake "sporty" feature on a car. No better way to turn me off to a vehicle than slapping something fake that is functional and belongs to a real sports car.
Give ya ten grand 20 years from now it wont be worth that
Why would you say that🤔
EVs are going to take over eventually I still think the 1971 stingray 454 is the best looking corvette
@@j.c.9461 the engine doesn't change a 71's look😉😇
I know makes it faster😁
@@j.c.9461 I'd say an LT1 might take out the 454 from that year🤔
Ridiculously over priced Corvette! It's too bad only overly rich people can even begin to afford this.. and it's been molested with a newer engine and transmission...This is the problem at that price the owner will never drive it because of the price and the rarity of a one year only build!
The price has zero to do with driving it, it's built to be driven! There's many $100K cars driving around everyday🤔
One thing the car really needs, besides better valve covers and air cleaner, is a set of 16" Torque Thrusts wrapped in 245/50/16's to help harness that engine/trans/rear axle ratio combo 💯
that's cheap
