Rob just say you hate Killua and go instead of pretending it's "tough love" but going about nitpicking every single little thing he does and says and comparing him to Gon for no goddamn reason. You're mad he's savage and strong but also calculated and careful and now learning to be compassionate and friendly. God forbid he isn't perfect and had to go through some mental struggles. But he still overcame them. You're just mad he's not like the usual reckless noisy boastful mc in most shounen animes. There's a reason he's THE most popular character of the show and one of the most memorable characters in anime in general. He's the most complex character of the show with the richest character development and one of the most interesting protagonists in any shounen anime but you wanna hate on him for some stupid reason.
Him thinking "what did i just do" wasn't a moment of weakness, it was him realizing that he was so far off from his old self that used to care about no one, because now he was willing to risk some trouble for the people he calls friends. aka. Really subtle but masterfully-written character development. But you wouldn't know that because you're so busy hating everything about him.

can rob stop hating on killua?? it’s not “tough love” it’s just hate at this point. for what reason does killua need to be like gon? unlike gon, he’s calculated and thoughtful. sure killua had his weaknesses but has learned to overcome them. his calculating nature doesn’t make him not as good as gon. like gon said when they were captured by the troupe, he needs killua to keep him in check because he’s reckless and does crazy things. while gon’s “willpower” can sometimes be a strength, it also can be a weakness as i rob will eventually learn (i doubt it).

I think it’s because they don’t really pay much attention to details and the subs. 😓 I feel like they’re only watching just for the fights and they got the wrong impression of why it’s one of the top shounen animes. I’m just hoping that they’ll be able to understand the upcoming events. I’m so glad I finished the series when I was a bit older because then I was able to understand the outcome. Haha before I was always rewatching the eps until this episode with Gon and Killua and always not being able to finish it cause I was afraid of what might happen next for my brother told me that it was kinda unexpected and sad and I kinda sensed it as well.

That is a fact, Pitou would rejoin the fight and get back to the king before netero dies and heals him and removes the posion or offers to kill instead of the king allowing him to go back to the castle with komugi. This arc is definitely the best arc of all anime bc the theme is about humanity and how one can gain it and one can lose it. I recommend y’all watch the morality of gon video after finishing the series to understand that his character is more dark than it appears. He is clearly blinded by rage and killua who has always seen gon be a more upbeat person, he knows that gon has never experienced a personal loss so ofc he’s going to be concerned about his best friend. This arc is way more about being emotional human beings than willpower.

I've been letting it slide for most of this whole series (despite Killua being my fav. character), but I'm think I'm reaching the limits of my tolerance of character siding, bashing/ dissing, and favoritism. Its been really bad for awhile, but its both gotten better but mostly worse since the palace invasion onwards. I do like RT TV and Rob's thoughts and appreciation of The Narrator though, since I love him too.

@@herj949 To be fair I think all 4 of them, including Wellz and Pat (who I really liked during the Ep. 116 reaction still), think that Gon could beat Pitou during Ep. 116, I think they are all really heavily underestimating the RGs. Yeah, he just thinks Killua is being soft and lacking "willpower", smh, he completely didnt understand Killua or Gon during Ep. 116, like how he didnt understand them during Ep. 113/ this reaction, and didnt get the situation going on in Ep. 116. But Im honestly not surprised that he doesnt get the plot and characters at this point, even though Im sad too, that he doesnt.
Yeah, Rob was pretty hyped up during 116, I wont be surprised if he is during Ep. 131, too. He also doesnt understand Killua as a character at all, and despite hyping up Gon so much, he doesnt really understand him either. Welp, at least Wellz and Pat are pretty awesome most of the time, and Jerry, I mostly like him, but he can sometimes be as bad as Rob, I think thats mainly because he lets Rob rope him into his line of thinking, like he does in Ep. 100-101 for example and now Ep. 116, he is still not as bad as Rob in those episodes or other ones, but he can still be pretty bad too. Ill still watch their reactions, but its not really for Rob and not really for Jerry most of the time, but Pat and Wellz, though that doesnt mean I dont hope they get better so I can enjoy them more again like I used to.

That's honestly what i loved about HxH. It wasn't just another shonen anime for me. It was a critic of shonen. It shows the flaws in that way of thinking. That was my favorite moment in Rez of F, when Goku realized that his bullheadedness could have, and should have cost them all their lives.

@Merciless Freak And Killua and Meleoron, too as well. I would say they are some of the most consistently best and biggest supporters/ contributors of The Palace Invasion and etc.. Though pretty much everyone does their job and/ or does something important.

There can be multiple MVPs of an arc. ^^ And Killua, Morel, Netero, and Meleoron deserve that title. Killua: 1. He kept Gon in check and stopped him from killing Komugi as collateral, an innocent, and just imagine what would have happen with The King if Komugi had been killed, he probably would have killed more people including members of the palace invasion team before he died. 2. He saved Knuckle. 3. He fought off Palm who had been transformed and kept her at bay until he saved her, Palm who would become very important later on in the arc. 4. He came up with a plan to figure out who was Pouf's target, and then protected Komugi from Pouf and held him at bay. 5. Killua kept on the mission with some others even when they thought The King was dead. 6. Killua with Palm's help kept an eye on Gon and Pitou, and then went to them once things started to go down, then saved Gon from a fatal shot from the Pitou Nen Puppet Corpse, then got Gon out of there after the aftermath of the Nen explosion. 7. Killua was the one people looked to for strategies during the prep before the palace invasion. 8. Killua was the one to piece together a lot of the stuff going on with The King, Pitou, and Komugi, both before and during the Palace Invasion. 8. Killua before the Palace Invasion was running himself on fumes in order to stop the selection (without him a lot more people would have died, or been turned into CA soldiers) as best he could and almost died, and pretty shortly after almost bleeding out did the Palace Invasion. 9. He saved Ikalgo multiple times, who would prove himself important to the mission too (shout out to Ikalgo too for saving Killua and how hard he worked during the Palace Invasion),
10. Killua, like pretty much else was prepared to die on this mission, 11. Killua kept fighting even after running out of power/ Nen/ charge, and kept being able to fight by painfully recharging multiple times, 12. Probably some other stuff, but that is all I can think of right now. There is some other pre-Palace Invasion stuff, but only mostly talked about stuff that directly affected the Palace Invasion. Also Killua and Meleoron werent in danger though, Meleoron was using God's Accomplish on both him and Killua to escape after Killua saved Knuckle and let off some steam (Killua can be really emotional, I love that though of course, I love characters being human, and have them just trying to do what is best, also its important for Killua's development), and Morel wasnt even there, sure Morel was holding Youpi off, which I applaud him for, but for the most part once Meleoron and Killua escaped they were safe, since for the most part Youpi doesnt chase his enemies, they were using GA, and Killua will be pretty safe once he recharges again. I wont get into why I think the other 3 were some of the best supporters/ contributors during the Prep of and in the middle of the Palace Invasion, because I think u mainly agree with me on why they should be the MVPs and were of the best too.
I just felt like I needed to give my cents (the reasons) on why I think Killua deserves it too, he worked really hard, was smart (though he can be very emotional and insecure at times, I love that about him though, I like seeing the fragility and human sides of characters, like Gon he was pretty on the verge of an emotional/ mental breakdown this whole invasion, until he finally did), and was one of most consistently important and helpful during the preps of and in the Palace Invasion. Sorry for my very long reply, if u dont agree with Killua being one of the best/ MVP of the Invasion, I understand, people are allowed to have different opinions, I just wanted to give my thoughts on why I think he deserves it/ is one too. Im happy u agree he is very helpful too, though. Also, in my opinion, Knuckle is kinda debatable as one of the best/ MVP of the Invasion, dont get me wrong he is defin. very helpful, but I dont really think he really is one the best/ MVPs. Sorry for my long reply, I just really wanted to give out all my reasoning on why I think Killua deserves the title(s) too, and I wanted to make sure my thoughts were well thought out and presented.

Ur not even rebutting stuff or adding ur own points. I swear u must not even be reading my comments, or u just wanting just finding a reason to argue. I laid out pretty well why I think Killua deserve to be one of The Best/ a MVP, and agreed with u on Netero and Morel being ones too (even though u gave u less thought out points, I still agreed, but when I present my case for Killua with well-thought points, all mostly specific to Killua, and ur like, well like 90% of ur points apply to almost everyone, when they dont, even the ones less specific to Killua, are still specific enough to him, and at most 5-10% can apply to other members of the team, at most), I admit i didnt make my points for Meleoron, but I think he also deserves it as well.
Anyways, lets just stop arguing, it looks like I cant change ur mind, no matter how many points I give, and u seem to want to say stuff just to argue, without even trying to refute stuff or give actual points.
