You guys also have to realize that Killua has never had any close relationships. In that moment with Gon, I don't think he even knew how to be real with him knowing how Gon felt. I think after learning from Palm what it mean to be raw and real his interation with Gon will be more open and emotional. When they first rolled up on Pitou, he didn't even know how to express his honest emotions.
Killuas brother isolated him entirely and made him start thinking hes not worthy of anything. His only confidence is in his assassination skills but everything else he really doesnt believe it can happen to him thats what rob doesnt get. The whole show has told killua that he will leave gon to die and he doesnt ever want that to happen. callin him a pussy for almost losing his only connection to his self means hes brother and family were right that all he can be is a killer.
This is exactly the point. Killua is only a 12 year old that's been traumatized from day one. He is literally learning how to be a friend, deal with these emotions, etc

Killua can't express his feelings to Gon. When he wanted to do so, Gon attacked him saying he doesn't care. Gon is in such a state where all he is thinking of is Kite. At this Moment Killua means nothing.

This is why it always puzzled me that you guys love comparing Killua and Gon to each other. The entire show has shown nothing but genuine love and friendship between the two boys. Killua would literally die for Gon and vice versa. I believe the foundation of this show is the relationship between Gon and Killua and it's so much more enjoyable to watch this series while appreciating what they have than senselessly pitting them against each other at every chance just because every other shounen tells you that the only way to deal with two characters who are best friends is to have them be rivals and to have them fight each other to the death.

Thats so true you have a point. What's different about HxH is that their friendship and bond is genuine and they really love eachother, sure they have disagreements and minor arguments about certain things but they dont have some unhealthy rivalry that leads them to beating eachother to a pulp
Ít's because they are opposites of each other and this has been pointed out multiple times throughout the show. So it is understandable why they would come to that conclusion, although that would be a cliche.

Disagree. i think the anime alluded to Killua and Gon becoming rivals enough times to warrant the comparisons. Even if they're beyond the Hunter exam and Zoldyck estate arcs, it's already in people's minds that "Killua may want to fight Gon just to see if he can kill him." Then there were the moments where Killua questioned if Gon had more potential than him. Killua comparing himself to Gon in his fight against Hanzo thinking things like "I would've dodged that attack." Then in the Heavens arena arc, going through the personality traits of nen users, Killua agreed with Hisoka that Transmuters are fickle and can turn on you quickly etc.
So no I don't think it's puzzling at all, I don't read manga, but they dropped enough of those moments in the anime where it almost comes across as foreshadowing.
I feel like sometime people forget that gon and killua are literal children, they are just more mature than normal, and have different kinds of lives, no normal child would be able to withstand what they have, so seeing killua cry just breaks my heart. Gon is his first friend, he cares about him so much, because gon cared for him too, he saved him.

While Rob was technically correct about Killua needing to tell that to Gon, at the time the narrator said about the situation "... Someone more mature would've been able to reach that step", meaning, while Killua was right that Gon would snap back at him (just like he eventually did), the correct choice would've still been to tell Gon what he needed to, but Killua (being a kid) is still too immature to realize that. This is further shown in the crying scene with Palm, who, being more mature, tells him the correct thing to do.

Gon didn't even know about the pin that Illumi put in Killua's head so Gon didn't know how much Killua had to fight to gain control of himself for his friend.
So if Killua would have been open and honest, Gon would know how much Killua cares.
Action and tension are two different things. It's was more high drama than action, that's part of the great writing in this anime. To me this is the best written anime!

Nen after death is rare. It is not done automatically, but in cases with more conviction and emotion, it might happen. Cases like Kurapika, Pitou or Village elder from Meteor city (Manga).

Btw Killua didn't land a single attack on palm, he even didn't try to, didn't use any abilities. although he bitchslap youpi for several seconds, Killua is much more emotionally stable than Gon, and despite the fact that he experienced all these emotions, he was unlikely to cry in the middle of a fight, most likely he did not know what to do exactly and this was one of the tricks before starting a fight seriously
