Shit, this basically means every time Kite said "Bad spin" it was because he wasn't adamant about not dying. The number reflected his own determination and it was almost like he was disappointed in his convinction.

Imagine thinking that Cheadle "sucks" because she's not the absolute best of the best at mind games like Netero, Pariston, and Ging. Obviously I like those three more but the disrespect is real. She's still a zodiac, a triple star hunter, and a genius referred to as the "Brains of the Zodiacs" to boot. Even Pariston at one point says that his procedural skills are inferior to hers. Even if Ging and Pariston are capable of more accurate predictions, she's still a real one.
EDIT: I'm just gonna go ahead and add this in too. Cheadle is meant to be the more down to earth and reasonable member of the group. If everyone was an unrestrained psychopath like Pariston or a whimsical jackass like Ging or Netero, the zodiacs would be worthless and the arc would probably be a lot weaker overall. In a way she serves as an audience surrogate. She asks the same questions as the audience and reflects the same path of discovery. Without her, the whole election would just be a jumblefuck of either Pariston and Ging monologuing for an hour or Pariston explaining everything to an idiot like Saiyu(monkey) in super simplified ways.
Say what you will about personally liking her, but you almost can't deny that her presence is one of the linchpins that holds the election narrative together.
Also, not really sure why Rob said that he was "right" about Kite telling Gon and Killua to run. Rob said that Gon could've killed Pitou there (Obviously not true), Ging was saying that Kite told Gon and Killua to run because he went "Oh fuck I underestimated the ants, run." Ging wasn't saying that Kite was wrong to tell them to run, just that he made the decision after realizing that he underestimated the ants so his death was his own fault. He was reassuring Gon that he wasn't to blame.

Kite still died, he went through the process of being reborn through the queen, he is the chimera that Colt was taking care of (hence why it said “I’m Kite”). If you don’t think that means Rob was wrong. When the bet was made Kite was dead at the time, I wasn’t until later when he was born again.
It could be the number he rolled allowed him to be reborn in that way. We've seen in the dark continent arc that that type of nen exists. I used to be convinced of what you said, but then considering what ging said etc I'm not so sure any more. It could be some nen power changing fate to keep him alive no matter what somehow. Hunter x hunter is strange yet fascinating :)

Personally this is my favorite episode, 146, of H x H. The writing is so great and never feels forced. In this genre that is rarely done. This and FMA:B are the top of the class.

Ging loves Gon, he made Greed Island with the intent of sharing something special with him, the dude was just embarrassed and I think that he feels that Gon is just like him someone who goes straightforward after what he wants and has the charisma to get the allies he needs to accomplish it just like he had to do. But he is a bad father by not doing more to make sure he would survive, There are at least five time Gon almost died and survived by a miracle
Of course he's a bad father, his fatherhood is very much based on a Buddhist way of life where you raise your children by following your own dreams and thereby inspiring your children to do the same. @@lunacysstraightjacket2121 Glad you're saying plot device and not deus ex machina...cus clearly that's what it took for the story to progress. While Nanika may appear broken, the Dark Continent is set up to balance things towards that norm. And Gon still suffers some consequences, as he's no longer able to use his nen.

I mean I still think it's complete bs and she kind of makes me question why they didn't just use her for the Ant invasion itself but whatever.
@@lunacysstraightjacket2121 lol, Nanika is not foul proof alright. Even Killua doesn't know the extent of its power. If Nanika erases the Ants, the repercussions could pose a much greater greater threat to humanity's existence. The "Three Requests for One Wish" premise of its ability shows how much of a threat Nanika could become. A wish as big as the eradication of the Chimera Ants, could mean an exchange for thrice the value. While Killua is a special case on this wish-request thing, there's no way to be 100% certain that there will be no side effects. (And who knows? Nanika's power might not even have its hold over the Ants for some Dark Continent-related reasons.)
And clearly you have misunderstood Gon's case. Gon still has his nen and stuff. Ging clearly said that his Nen is fine. The problem is that Gon can't see and use his Nen anymore. Throw that "proper Nen-training" crap away. Gon's been training for the past two years, and he doesn't appear to have memory loss or something. Surely Ten should be a piece of cake for him. But nah, he somehow can't see and use his Nen because of what he did with Pitou.

And the whole Gon thing I know what he said and I understand it perfectly...all she did was reset him. He can still use it. So just train the normal way like Wing wanted originally or find a new purpose aka condition/restriction.
