The most fitting and least contested theory on reddit to date for kite's reincarnation and abilities is that kites special slot gave him enhanced "luck" in a sense. The effect of this didnt win him the fight, though there were many clear signs that their fight was prolongued and epic given the destroyed landscape, change of local, and bruises on pitou at the end. As the theory goes, his nen was enhanced as residual nen, which then influenced Pitou to not feed him to the queen when everything about her and her entire job and sole driving purpose should have been to immediately deliver the most precious meal to date to support the kings birth and growth. She was subtly influenced such that her timing of feeding Kites brain to the queen was delayed for weeks or more while she attempted to revive him and develope her hatsu. She did eventually remove his organs and feed them to the queen once she gave up and made him a puppet, after which we see the new stitches appear on him where prior were none when he was dissected and put back together to be harvested eventually. This delay ultimately leads to kite not becoming part of the king, albeit the details of how and to what degree Kites nen effected things are still debated and uncertain.
Furthermore, this nen effect may have been what caused kite's brain and the red hair girl's body with no brain to fuse into a new egg rather than go to the kings nourishment, which then caused the king to break from his egg early being h'angry, as the most precious meal he would have had was diverted to a new egg rather than to him, leaving him hungry and no longer recieving the nourishment from the last few meals, and thus breaking out in anger to go search for food, as he does, and then calms down to read books and play games once hes satisfied that hunger. While this is a theory, one thing that debates have solidified well is that Kites ability is 100% definitely certainly NOT the power to reincarnate himself, which some very confused anime only fans sometimes assume having little to go on and without studying all the content thoroughly. Kites special ability and how much effect it had is up for debate still, but his reincarnation is certainly a result of phagogenisis, not a random "i reincarnate into an ant in the queens's belly" nen ability. His nen is all based on the concept of luck, and the wand/mace he rolls against pitou has the 3 leaf clover which is considered to be supremely lucky, this effect is exponentially amplified if he dies while using it and while resolved enough, and then simply influenced events post death in a way that was very lucky for him... you can think of it as a luck stat in an rpg i suppose, but its meant to be a bit vague and supernatural as nen is. This lead to circumstances that would favor his rebirth as an individual rather than part of the king, the red haired girl was fed with a body and no brain, kite was fed as a brain with no body, splice in a bit of ant DNA and you have baby Kite/Reina. Koala gives us half of the explanation to this in exhaustive detail later, albeit layered in one of the best multipurpose existential rants ever
The thing that no one understood especially leorio. Was the nature of gon and gings relationship. Ging is a bad father obviously, buttttt even when kite asked if gon wanted to know gings whereabouts he turned him down. He was like nah I wanna find him myself. So ging in a way is honoring their relationship by not visiting gon he’s honoring wishes.
That's very sad. Nobody should glorify that type of relationship between father and son.

Has ging even talked to Gon directly to know his wishes? No, so you're kinda twisting the situation to defend him. Sure Gon wants to find him, however Ging isnt considering his sons feelings at all cause he doesn't know his son's feelings or anything about him

If you do the math like 5% of all hunters know Gon personally.
You've got their entire year, that's 5 other people if we remove the dead one, the four non-Netero examiners (not sure if the black suit guys are official hunters or not so I'm not counting them) and Beans, Killua, Shalnark, Ging, Biscuit, Morel, Knov, Knuckles, Shoot, Palm, Tsezguerra, Barry, Kess and Rodriot, Goreinu, Melody, Dwun, List, Kite, Wing, The association's exorcist...
Can't think of anyone else. So that's 30 out of 635 which is about 5% you're right! It's now fewer than 4% in the current arc though as the association numbers have risen.

Kite was doing his own thing, and he severely underestimated the power of the chimera ants I think Kite would have died one way or another And its not like Ging knew which Gon would pick, nor did he know what would happen I can't fault Ging for a series of events that he had no idea about until it happened

They went to kite expecting to meet ging. He set it up knowing that this was a possibility and because of that kite found himself in a situation where gon and killua were in the way.
So ging basically sabotaged kite.

16:21 The main reason Kite didnt say he got a bad spin was because it was the first roullette where he was actually in serious danger.
Pitou was so overwhelmingly strong that even a good roll couldnt have saved him.
Also he didnt want to give Pitou the mental boost of knowing he had a bad roll.
Although knowing Pitou's cat like way to play she would have waited for him to get a good roll

Leorio's ability is similar to RL remote surgery. The surgeon could be in India and the patient is in the US and the surgery is done remotely through drone-like surgery machines and a PS4 controller for the surgeon.

I don't know if Carson read it or if he just stone cold guessed it, with his theory being "it's for surgery so he doesn't have to cut people open". It's not 1000% confirmed but that's Ging's theory, at least. He basically equates it to sonar.
Also I just *LOVE* how you can see Ging looking down and analyzing the punch before it comes, fully letting it hit him, even tho that detail is pretty irrelevant for the anime and only shows significance in the manga a bit later on.
