I feel so bad for Leorio right now as he wants to be a doctor because he lost his childhood friend from a treatable disease and help other kids for free but now he's witnessing Gon in so much pain and he probably feels like he can't do anything again. I remember it was mentioned in the manga that kurapika was holding funeral for his clan at this time . Plus i don't think he wants to involved his friends in his problems especially after what happened in yorknew city . We all can't blame him for thinking like that

I love how Ging saw the punch coming the second the portal started opening and was like..."eh, probably deserve it"
Leorio's the most pure soul in this anime. He's pure good. He knows how the world works (thus wanting a lot of money) and he wants to end the corruption within it. Out of the four protagonists, he's definitely the only one who's 100% good from the very beginning and throughout the whole story. He's probably the only one who has no selfish intentions and only wants to help others. Definitely the closest thing we get for a hero in this story.

Kurapika is collecting his peoples eyes, just like Gon reminded him to do. When in York New City, Kurapika was confused about his life path once the Spiders were dead. So it is a little touching, that he has two goals now.

KurApika is still fulfilling his goal of getting his clans eyes back, but it’s sad he’s taking that burden all on his own. I did a short analysis on him a few years ago, part of it involved interpreting how the studio took it to create THIS particular outro. Gon is at the forefront chasing his dreams and Killua is close behind because he truly Loves his friend and feels as if being by his side was part of his salvation from darkness. Leorio is also close to the front two but he also serves as the tie between them and Kurapika, I’ll explain why. Kurapika is standing further back than all of them, he’s alone in a sense, reflecting his feelings that he needs to do all his work by himself, but who looks back, Leorio because he refuses to let Kurapika lose himself in that darkness, I mean neither would Killua or Gon, but as Melody said, Leorio has a pleasant warm and soothing heartbeat, he’s the most empathetic, and we saw that turn into rage on Ging, I have more videos on Kurapika , but for you two they would spoil so avoid. (Abby you look GREAAAAAT btw 😍)

A flip off isn’t something that is bad enough to be censored I’ve see that in kids shows
nnightkingj it is in anime. Many of the channels these shows are broadcasted on don’t allow such things to be shown.
The first arc it's the most censored, I remember that I was going to give up in this version until they gave us the Hisoka vs Castro match, the original anime didn't anímate that one.
I love Abi for staying on Ging's side and still liking him. She almost understands Ging, she just needs more context to put it all together about who Ging is as a person.

This is my favorite reaction to this episode. Just Imon having a joyous conniption fit at Leorio asking the exact questions she wanted to hear
One thing people fail to point out is that Ging notices the punch coming and just decides to take the punch. It’s not like he can’t dodge considering he’s a top ranking hunter. He just decided it wasn’t worth dodging Leorio punch.
It gets mentioned in a later episode, so it doesn't really matter.
It’s less that he didn’t think it was worth dodging and more that it was his exit strategy for the election and to help set Leorio up as a candidate. He definitely purposely agitated him.

Ging plays games with my heart. I thought I misjudged him when he took the punch out of respect for Leorio. Then I found out he essentially did a curbside pickup with my boy's nen ability. The deception!

Yes he knew he could tank it but he also took it because of his a talent to copy emmision hatsus once they hit him, he later thinks Leorio crafted a good hatsu, you can do other stuff with it.
Also he took it to create a good competition to Paris, Ging wasn't in a good position to win at neglecting visiting Gon and he's kinda disliked in particular with some Hunters, a lot of people after this vote Leorio so he become another obstacle to Paris.

Just found out the voice actor for Hisoka is the same for Oikawa in haikyuu.
Leorio used straight up emission. He transferred his nen into the ground and it traveled to a target location and released a punch. It wasn't transmuted into something like electricity or bungie gum material.

One of the ongoing theories about Ging is that his Nen allows him to see the future, which is why he is just chilling all the time.

I can’t still understand that Fujiwara san, the voice actor of Leorio, and many other beloved characters, has died. I knew that he sometimes took time off from acting because of the illness, but I didn’t know his life had been threatened. It was too early for me to understand that he passed.
