Right click to cancel your left click + hold action. Useful if you're about to demolish monument or dam by mistake. It works for most of strategy games too.

The power transfer system sounds awesome too. oh god just give me the dam expansion already :(
Level 3 Depot, best thing about those is they don't need roads to pick up goods! In all fairness, it is much more efficient if they have roads connected to utilize the many transport vehicles, but as far as saving space, you don't need roads. The air transport can look after many things without the requirement of roads.
In fact I find it the hardest in Anno 1503, even though I really like it that way. It was just so hard to get alcohol, if you had that done, there was also salt and getting your own tools was very expensive.
@deadhand45 keep your citizen's tax bands on the lowest setting, make sure your ecology balance is stable (if applicable). Press + on the numbpad and wait ror licenses to start accumulating. Once you aquire sufficent licenses, mind that I 'm talking about upgrade licenses not the second currency you earn via npc's, start clicking houses and pressing "u". Hope this helped you, Alexander.
Oh by the way in reference to the "accidentally delete a major building" if you accidentally start destroying something and you've got the mouse button held down, if you hit esc it cancels the delete.
What's your opinion on the new option in the continuous mode witch is that you can start with more then one faction? Somthing that would be interesting is if you could make a island with all three factions. And another question which is better the tycoon nuke or the nuke form the new submarine?
if the island is uninhabited i cant see it being a massive issue but you really should look into cleaning that shit up, only takes a few quick modules and a boat.

I've watched all of his beginner guides. I would like to see him fight a NPC that expands and resides on islands, though. It appears you have to invade them with air-based vehicles since a blockade doesn't cause them to surrender, and you can't starve them to death as they went hours without any food facilities. I'd like to see NsN's tactics for combating said NPCs.
i wanted to ask you something about the dlc packages, i find it the the most save to download them ingame, how does this work? do you get a code or a patch? and what happens if my pc crashes, can i get the dlc content back or will i lose it? and do i need it, or will i get it later in a game as achievement? i like the lighthouse and the ornamental pack from the eco's.

Hey man, was just wondering why you set up trading routes with the NPC's using your own ships, instead of setting up stuff that can be sold from your harbor?
A firm believer of Quality over Quantity, yet all your videos are around the 1 hour mark. Not complaining, just pointing it out. More a believer of being awesome.
to be honest with you it's questions like "hey how do i speed up the game" or "hey how do i get in postcard view" you should answer those, b/c those question can be answered by the game itself by looking at the ingame keyboard settings. imho those are the shitty questions.
About the comment about deleting the Dam, can't you click and hold the left mouse button and clicking the right mouse button cancel it? I know it works for building, maybe it works for destroying?
yeah~ i think anno 1404 not supported by Win7~ Would love to try it~but anno 2070 contains Undersea which is quite interesting~ But anno 1404 is Old world, and anno 2070 is futuristic~

Pro Tip : Next time, keep holding down left mouse button and then right click to still cancel the action. Only you can prevent destroying monuments.

Could you make a guide showing how you organize your farms for the ones that take a ton of floor space? Like the dairy farm and the corn fields..

My friend gifted me Anno 2070 and its so damn good game. Love it.
This one got me into Anno games, do you feel like doing something like that for the other Anno titles, 1404 and 2205.
