Strangely enough, this turned out to be the least troublesome campaign mission, simply because the trigger for switching to the second stage was so obvious. The key is of course to not destroy the last of the objective buildings in the first stage of the mission. I built up my force to very near the limit, but this was not really necessary. My main strategy was to build a bunch of strategic subs and allow them to load up on nukes (4 each). I used these to fire one salvo each on the enemy commanders as they become active during the end game. Even if there are anti-nukes in play, they will not stop a nuke volley. I also installed some anti-nukes of my own, to safeguard my home base, just in case. In the first stage I fended off the initial attacks and quickly built a group of tac-missile launchers as far south as possible under shield cover. Firing volleys of tac-missiles allowed me to take out most of the enemy production early, so all further attacks were easy to weather after that; A perimeter of defensive structures proved sufficient to prevent any further damage to my base. The buildup stage was admittedly quite tedious, but you can basically turtle and set the game speed to maximum while the nukes and anti-nukes are being completed. The end game will just take a few minutes, if you prepare in this way. Even then, the gate structures actually proved too resiliant even to a direct nuke attack. As I had used up all 4 nuke volleys, and I didn't care to wait while building more nukes, I made the final push to overrun the last objective with 16 Fatboy experimentals. Luckily I had already built these under the water surface. If you think my strategy was cheesy, lame or boring, consider that this was basically the way Montgomery defeated Rommel at El Alamain; By slowly building up an unstoppable force before finally striking. Also, I think this was more than fair, considering the cheesy backstabbing tactics programmed for the adversaries throughout the whole campaign.

So unless I've missed something, at least 4 losses were taken in this mission, not 2. 2 heavy tanks after the air force was available again, and the light AA and medium tank beforehand (which was the reason you had points transferring over once the air force was back). All of these were your units, as including Webb's it was 6 (the heavy AA and one repair tank also died). Yes this is 5 years old and no I don't care.

So i just started that game, hoping that my thousands of hours in PnP, crpgs and tabletop games will somewhat help me figure stuff out - and they did. But not even close to the extend that video did. Best source online, thanks a lot, bro!! ❤❤❤

They cannot go over their credit cap. You if you sell a share can get an overflow of credits from the sale of a share. If you buy out all of a company's shares before buying their sectors, you get the sectors for no additional cost. I ended up being at least double their level so they couldn't bid over 6 million credits, but I could I had a limit of over 10 mil. Influence is after activating the stock market can be a reward for missions done in your sectors. I also had an income of something like 750k. Using stock markets and having a good surplus of materials allowed me to expand rapidly. Once a company has all the share bought by you, they can no longer start or bid in auctions. Stock markets allow you to promote more residence to higher levels and gain more revenue. The more people you can jam into their radius the greater the number of promotions you can do. Just like wind farms you shouldn't overlap them for best efficiency. After you buyout everyone the influence can be used to hire insiders and use the patent transfer to get their shares to earn you money rather than loose your money.

It's tricky making cities in this game not look like a 1960s city planner's fever dream.

lol the reason why people get on you for the use of assault rifle is because anyone who knows anything about rifles knows it's a made up term because it sounds scary and those who use the term don't understand that what they are saying is literally everything that isn't bolt action is called an assault weapon simply because of what it looks like not its actual function.
