Informative video. For both of us understanding the german language it is okay to have the language setting for the navigation device set to german. For all others it would be more clear when the device would show up in the english language setting. Cheers Uli from Heidelberg
Hmm. That is certainly one of the reasons I purchased this GPS. I did have a few other related reasons as well. Iam currently working on an RF survey for a tolling group, who needs spectrum analysis at different points along a roadway. I’ve been using my iPhone for most of my navigation needs, although I have a 60CSx and an Oregon 550. Both of the handhelds are quite old and my mounts broken over time, so I was having to hold it while driving from point to point. I wanted to use one of the apps on my phone, but all the ones I tried, either used that dumb heart, or wouldn’t let me change symbols so that I could distinguish between a northbound and a southbound point, or wouldn’t display waypoints unless you navigated to them, or wouldn’t “track up”, etc…. I wasn’t really keen on actually purchasing a new handheld, because I should be able to get a decent app that can be used like one. Still I did think that since I go to remote radio sites quite often, that the emergency features might be worthwhile to have, so I coughed up the dough…. It does have a good size screen so I can easily drive up on the waypoints, take my measurements and move on again.

How does the clarity of the screen compare to the 276cx? CX is a great device with the usual 276 irritating quirks.
Subject for another video. Sunday is going to be a sun day, do a good day to try that! ;-)
