- Reda the merchant tells the story of Bayek and Aya.
Become Eivor, a Viking raider raised to be a fearless warrior, and lead your clan from icy desolation in Norway to a new home amid the lush farmlands of ninth-century England. Find your settlement and conquer this hostile land by any means to earn a place in Valhalla.
England in the age of the Vikings is a fractured nation of petty lords and warring kingdoms. Beneath the chaos lies a rich and untamed land waiting for a new conqueror. Will it be you? - Hry
To think they were just that close to be together even in death...
Bayek's mummy was found deep within his tomb, while Aya's just below him, under the flooded pit
I think they got to be together even in death the only thing that happened there was that half of the tomb caved in at some point probably due to a sinkhole which explains the water underneath and the fact Ayas entire tomb had fallen below. So it’s just simply nature that had done that to Ayas tomb
This made me so happy and sad at the same time. I miss Bayek 🥺
i feel so bad for him and aya even tho they don’t exist it made me so sad
I just go back to the game since I’ve restarted my playthrough on nightmare mode so it’s my way of keeping him alive for me, I don’t overdo it and get bored that way and I always have a balance of missing him and being at peace with his story
Him and Aya were the best character arcs of the series. Deserving of so much more. I mean shit loki/basim has a sequel ffs
@@swimmingincirclez6930Basim doesn't technically have a sequel and if anything he's the last person to be a shit character in Valhalla's story
@BatmanDCEU he's appearing In more than one game. Call it what ya want. The way they're selling mirage it seems like this is before his realization of him being lokis reincarnate. Curious to see how they're going to tie that one together since they're trying to step away from the mythological aspects of ac. I personally think that's a poor move because it all ties together in one way or another due to the isu being a mythological race of sorts to begin with. Wasn't trying to say basim is a shit Character. Just personally think there are much better stories they could've gone with. How about kassandra? She lives for almost a 1000 years the experiences she lived she could've been the only protagonist for like 4 games. They make these amazing characters and kill them off after 1 game then make lesser characters have sequels.
Brings back sooo many memories.
This gave me chills for some reason
He just makes a fable of the plot of Assassin's Creed Origins.
Senu and Ayas eagle meeting gave me goosebumps
Bayek was the best Protagonist in the all the new AC Games his voice actor Abu Bakr was also one of the best
Alexios was pretty great.
@@charleskaucic5047 I was a Kassandra Player her Voice Actor was better also Kassandra is Cannon which means she made the Official Cut, Alexios was Deimos forever.
@@bearislandthuglife3463 I also played Valhalla and Eivor is a woman who’s more badass than the guy.
@@charleskaucic5047 Same Here Male Eivor was very low energy for a Viking
@@bearislandthuglife3463 plus the voice actor for lady Eivor was great!
Reda is so good at storytelling, I could listen to him forever
Bayek Deserve A Fucking Trilogy !
Every fucking time I walk by and leave camp and come back he is still telling these kids this story hes restarted 50 times and I've decided not to come back to camp till hes done
Maybe you need to listen to it...I did and haven't heard him re-tell it. There's a prompt to interact with Hyman and read the letters and such. Unless you already did that... then I have no suggestions
Dude, only thing you had to do was to listen the story. After Reda ends, kids stand up and walk away, Eivor speaks with Reda and that's all.
Huh the eagles must represent the hidden ones, right.
yes but also they represent amun and amunet
I’m happy this reference exists in the game
Very well written. Reda is a little badass btw
Bayek not getting a trilogy is criminal. Would have loved to see him an Aya get back together in the end.
Dude same 😭
"eerah we’re innocent!”
I had a weird order of my playthroughs for the RPG AC games. Odyssey, Valhalla, then Origins. So that line is super fresh in my memory and i did hate how much it was overused to the point a few times i said "fuck off" at the NPC saying it. I also hated the kid always saying "hayek"
"We must prepare for the army of Salahadeen!"
Woops wrong assassin's creed
@@Byakugan888 lmao
I was so glad when i came back to the settlement and witnessed this
They see each other again in the Hidden Ones dlc. Aya saves Bayek after he's captured
You mean Amunet saves bayek
@@mansamusa8410 Really bro Really? Sad
@@cdcarelse796 wtf is sad about it?
@@cdcarelse796aya died in 44BCE
Such good voice acting
I literally just got to this part and I noticed right away he was talking about Them, but I didn’t realize this was the same character from origins😂 I didn’t really use his shop to much tbh and still don’t
His gear is usually booty cheeks compared to what we find off dead bodies anyway tbh
He sells helix store items
Hes cool
@@rumpled4skin271 you ain’t got to lie to us. I bought the dragon gauntlets and onimaru from his shop.
shit brings a tear to my eye
Bayek is an OG and Aya I miss them both
Bayek was a g. Origins was my first ever assassins creed game and Bayek is still my favorite character
So evidently Reda is immortal
Or maybe a sage
Or maybe he’s an Isu
Or maybe his something
he prob has an artifact or something similar to the one in Odyssy that kept either Alexios or Kassandra live for 2000 years
I was thinking the same. He must be like Kassandra.
Bayeks story can't be just a game story , no human writer can create such a sad yet legendary story. This must have happened somewhere
All stories are based on something, but some events may be embellished or changed for a fictional account.
Bayek and Aya could be based on a real couple.
"Papo, how do you know if you are in love?"
"Why Khemu? Do you think you are in love?"
"I don't know. Love should feel good. You and mom are the only ones I love, but this hurts."
"That sounds like love, it could be. I once was like that, I'm very sorry son. The scorpion goddess, Serqet. She protected Iset and Horus from jealous Set. She still protects against poisonous animals. But not love. Against that there is no protection. Not even the gods can."
I found that stone circle yesterday. Nice coincidence!
@@Popcorn-de9fg I was going through a rough breakup at the time, those lines cut through my depression like a hot knife through butter. Then this year I was playing Valhalla and heard this story...I think this is a throwback to Bayak and Khemu, subtly so.
@@MorrowProduction Sorry for that breakup, fella :( You'll feel better. We always do. We always find the way
"THAT IS MADNESS"
I heard this and never even realized 😳
Reda is a demigod maybe
Yeah, I think he is demigod of mystery chests
Probably another sage like Eivor and Juno's husband.
reda grow a little from 900 years after origins.😁
Is there any one knows how could Aya and Bayek were buried together at the same tomb
- that tomb which Layla had found -
Did the game tell us how?
( And Sorry for my poor English but it's not my first language)
Hi,
Can I use your video to edit & add Origins Ezio family theme into it. Will give credit.
Really cool
Cake across it today
They have made Valhalla a master piece..
One tug at the heartstrings of nostalgia doesn't make it a masterpiece
is it better then ac origins ?
Im olny getting ac orgins flashbacks
We’re can I find reda !! After submission of codex to Hythem !! Need help ! ;(
The fact that Reda is still young, that means that there are possibilities that bayek is still alive, and maybe the next dlc is eivor meeting bayek maybe, but how did Reda travel so far tho, this heka chest scammer got an Aladdin carpet or someting
Nah reda something in egypt that allowed him to never die or grow old, they mention it when u first meet him in origins
@@josiahacciarito644 oh, i never really gave the attention to the detail while playing the game, its good to know tho
"heka chest scammer" lmao im dead.
@@kangroroogaming8950Its not the game for that
Did they see each other again? I thought aya left bayek
They did split up and divorce.
After Aya's last letter to Bayek from Rome, that tells him of her throwing away her past and her love for him, they never saw each other again.
His letter to her that they show here, has no explanation of whether or not she even communicates with him anymore, or if it's only him writing letters to her, and her possibly not responding to them.
He was obviously still in love with her, long after she no longer loved him, which is very sad. 😓
Reda has to be a Sage.
😳
Sounds familiar...
The only wrong parts here are that they spent only a year separated from each other before the reunion, not as long as he said. And Aya went West (technically northwest) while Bayek went East.
But anyway, beautiful story, simply well written and all great.
Seems pretty realistic to how stories would become inaccurate after being passed down orally for years
How did u know this was about bayek and Aya?
The entire story is accurate but how did Reda get to tell the events of ac origins idk?
Bayek could tell him, also he can be some powerfull creature bc he is really old
@@shuckle9529 bayek been dead a long ass time ago and so would be that reda of his timeline. This reda probably read the story from one a journal left behind by his ancestor.
So, Aya and Bayek had two more children
Wait wasn't in Odessy Bayek's tomb and Aya's are in same place. (this is "current" timeline)
Origins not Odyssey
I saw that i even took a video i have to upload it tho
Didn't Bayek go east and Aya go west?
I was gonna say the same thing
Rome is east of Egypt.
@@re-com1236
No, it's not 🤨
I think this was a classic case of mixing truth with story telling tbh. Like he said what he says is mostly true. But theres also classic storytelling, especially from someone who is seemingly immortal.
@@quidam_surprise hahaha right that had me laugh. Someone doesn't know geography
I didn’t play Valhalla, how the fuck is reda still alive…
I thought the story is about loki and aletheia son😂
Is this true tho??
Soooo Bayek and Aya got back together?
Before they died I’m assuming since Aya wanted to be buried next to Bayek
Aya is buried in the same tomb as Bayek which Layla found
@@crashpal everyone knows that. And my question had already been answered.
@@alliasstar7289 Aya is buried in the same tomb as Bayek which Layla found btw
Anyone want to tell Ubisoft that ergi doesn't translate to coward?
How fkn old is Reda??
So..... Valhalla and origin was in a same timeline and just a few years apart?
No, they are like 800 years apart I think.
They are hundreds of years apart (maybe a thousand since the rome lasted around a thousand and since caesar died in 44 BC maybe 700-900 years ??????)
@@waddayaknoww1223 well origins happened just after the Roman civil war which ended in 48bce thanks to Pompeii being executed by the Egyptians
they are at least 800 years apart
all assassins creed games are in the same timeline, and no they are like 800-900 years apart
Nah what the hell this entire story is wrong, bayek died east and she went west
I really liked Bayek but Asla was the worst character I've encountered. She was so ingenuine, every time she showed up I groaned, it was gonna be awful. She never came across a good mother, a briefing mother or a wife. We all grieve differently but Ubisoft fails female mother's, and always drops the ball. In my opinion.
Except Aya wanted nothing to do with Bayek after their son died! I’m not a fan of Aya
instead of a sequel to origins they gave us this shitty game
People need to understand that this story is "incorrect".
Truth to be told, bayek and aya both left their homeland, they were never seen again because they never returned home.
Bayek and aya reunited, and they were both buried together.
When the only good part of a game is a 3 minute story about a previous game. Fucking shameful. 😂
