- When you often think about the series Assassin’s Creed. Your mind would often lean towards mysterious figures in hoods taking out templars, or maybe if you're a newer fan, you’d think of the rpg games, or if you wanted to go a bit deep, you’d think of the animus, the isu or just history. But one thing that this series does well is in its lore. If you thought the war between the assassins and templars is interesting, the franchise goes a step further by incorporating some pretty wild conspiracy theories and twisted historical events into the plot.

Assassin's Creed is an open-world, action-adventure, and stealth game franchise published by Ubisoft and developed mainly by its studio Ubisoft Montreal using the game engine Anvil and its more advanced derivatives. Created by Patrice Désilets, Jade Raymond, and Corey May, the Assassin's Creed video game series depicts a fictional millennia-old struggle between the Order of Assassins, who fight for peace and free will, and the Knights Templar, who desire peace through order and control. The series features historical fiction, science fiction, and fictional characters intertwined with real-world historical events and historical figures. In most games, players control a historical Assassin while also playing as an Assassin Initiate or someone caught in the Assassin-Templar conflict in the present-day framing story. Considered a spiritual successor to the Prince of Persia series, Assassin's Creed took inspiration from the novel Alamut by the Slovenian writer Vladimir Bartol, based on the historical Hashashin sect of the medieval Middle East.

Putting JFK and saying "mind blowing" on the title is savage as heck haha
Oh...! That's dark💀
:(
Bro your comment is lit. I can tell you’re not a youngin as some don’t even know basic American facts let alone JFK got hit in the head.
I feel like it was likely unintentional
I didn't even think of it that way. I'm sorry but that's f*cking hilarious my dude.
I just can't get over the fact that Ubisoft in recent years wasted so much potential story ideas by throwing them into comics, novels but not their own game.
Crazy huh I read so many of they comics and novel was like yo this could of been in the game what a waste of talent
Modern people are lazy, comics only need an artist and a writer.
@@positivelydisliked you have declared war upon comic writers
Almost like making a game is more complicated than writing novels
@@positivelydislikedregardless both are art
Everytime I read bout the conspiracies in AC universe I just recall wendigoon famous line "and remember kids, the next time someone tells you "the government wouldn't do that" ... Oh yes they would!"

All the Hitler theory did was want a game set during WW2 following that story. Maybe your assassin infiltrates German high command and learns of Hitler and the templars or you’re a German officer who sees the dirty dealing between Hitler and the Templars and become disillusioned then have a fateful encounter with an assassin and it goes from there; both ending in the assassins executing Hitler
Not really the most lore accurate ending. Maybe go the Syndicate path and kill his goons that affect his empire until we fight him, but we spare him so he can rot in prison/ be captured but he then commits self shoot
I thought about a Russian assasin that worked for stalin and he must liberate the death camps and kill major nazis officers and at the end kill hitler then the protagonist realized after the war how evil stalin was and so he killed him
Hitler hated secret societies. Most likely he'd fight both the Templars and Assassins.
Ubisoft would never have you play as a German soldier in the 1930s-40s lmao. Maybe once when they actually had ambition and weren't absurdly safe with everything they made. I remember seeing AC2 namedropping Kraft foods as an Abstergo/Templar company and was mind blown. Would never happen today.
Realistically, Hitler would be a rogue third party, and either Churchill or Roosevelt would be a Templar or ex Templar and the other an assassin in tense alliance to beat this dangerous new third party. Hitler was against the existing global order and obsessed with the occult, but his only significant tie that lasted to any international organization was his membership in the holy fascist alliance (a pact between Hitler, Mussolini, and the pope)
My hot take: Ubisoft is Abstergo, AKA, Templar order. They trying to poison us by intentionally make bad AC game
Ubisoft did become the things they spoke out against in both AC and Watchdogs, that is one of the reasons why they killed off Watchdogs and watered down AC.
And I even believe they are chasing that ESG money which sounds like something the Templars would partake in, even Blackrock who pushes that sounds similar to Abstergo.
So I believe what you said definitely ain’t a bad take.
@@redcobra6016Rockstar did that too. Constantly satirizing greedy capitalism, but then GTA Online happened.
@@Mephilis78 Rockstar became everything they used to parody now. And there was even that time where they made fun of Mark Zuckerberg, and now they are working with him on some VR ports.
What if the animus, assassins, and templars are real, and ubisoft is making games based loosely on real events to make us think it's too absurd to really happen.
That’s the devs. They did that in ac4 cuz the developers prob hate their highe ups who are 80 year old cronies
Crazy theory - Ubisoft was Assassin's order trying to make people aware of crazy stuff by games and then trmplars took over them and that's why the new games are poorly worked on and doesn't make sense on the most part
An ac game where you assassinate Hitler would be absolutely insane
Ngl that would be absolutely fire. But no way ubisoft would have the balls to do that.
Hitler is overrated. I rather have them include Tojo instead. But Ubisoft lacked intergrity and balls
Should be interesting if hitler is siding with the assassin
I wonder who the Assassins would side with in the American civil war, would they be on the side of state and individual rights or on the side of slaves
I'm not saying the American Civil War was about state rights I'm just asking whose side would the Assassins take
@@samueljonathan6101Aganist the bad people?
Idc what Ubi says, AC and WD are still in the same universe in my head xD
Same here
I agree. What would be the point in having so much content from both franchises bleed into each other as well as having a crossover? There are more subtle ways of referencing games made by the same company.
@@Ash-Winchester and it also just makes sense, I mean blume is literally the Templar order they everything in common they want world domination and constant surveillance with ctos it just makes too much sense.
Bruh they literally released a crossover dlc for legion that was about assassin's creed. You just can't tell me with a straight face that they aren't connected.
@@Ash-WinchesterExactly this. Like what do they have to lose by saying the two series are connected? A better example of "just easter eggs" is the Abstergo logo showing up in one of the Far Crys as one small detail, and not a whole damn DLC crossover.
My favourite AC theory is that the "Precursor box" is a miniature Animus, and the whole reason the Animus project got started.
The box is a piece of Eden that pops up in a lot of AC media and games (most notably in Rogue)
Once supplied with electricity, the box displays holographic projections of stored knowledge.
in AC Chronicles Russia, it even awoke the genetic memories of Shao Jun inside the Russian princess Anastasia.
They may say that they are just making Easter Eggs, but how does that mean that universes are not the same?
If Rockstar added Abstergo on some company list it would be a genuine Easter Egg, but if Ubisoft, the makers of Assassin's Creed AND Watch Dogs do it... then I feel like it is obvious that they are set in the same space and time.
Idk how to explain it, screw it.
Those two are connected. Assassin dlc in Legion
They just tryna save their lazy asses from having to look out for lore discrepancies between 2 games in future titles
The First World War would be a great setting for assassins creed
I think I left a similar comment on another video of yours, but just because Ubisoft say that the franchises aren't connected doesn't mean they actually aren't. For example, Square Enix has claimed repeatedly that Drakengard/Drag-On Dragoon, Nier, and SinoAlice are entirely separate franchises that aren't connected at all - in fact, if you check out Grimoire Nier (the book explaining all the backstory and lore of Nier), the dragon appearing in Tokyo is alluded to very vaguely... even though that's literally the ending of Drakengard 1, and the dragon and its rider are that game's protagonists. Same goes for SinoAlice, the latest update to Nier: Reincarnation confirms that the settings of both games, the "Library" of SinoAlice and the "Cage" of Nier: Reincarnation are one and the same, and yet on paper they're standalone franchises - the SinoAlice artbook makes no mention of Nier, and the crossovers with it and Drakengard are considered non-canon.
Honestly, I think it's just a weird legal thing. I'm not a lawyer, so don't quote me on this - but there could be very good reasons why Ubisoft need to legally cover their butts and avoid giving any lawyer the excuse to claim that Watch_Dogs and Assassin's Creed are actually the same franchise, should it come to that in court.
That does sound pretty reasonable. Maybe there's disputes with different ubisoft employees/ex employees that worked on both franchises, so they could've for the sake of legal reasons just said its not connected.
never miss a upload when u post keep grinding u will get 100k
ill try my best!
I still think having an AC set during WW2 would be a good setting since it would set up Hitler and his people in a perfect situation with them as Templars since in real life, Hitler believed in the occult and he would want to use a piece of Eden to try to win. the MC could even be a Jewish person who escaped a camp early on and met with a member of the assassins and trained with the end goal to be ending the upper echelon of the Nazis
Ubisoft said they'd never do that because if they implemented semi auto/automatic weapons it would just become another third person shooter, which sucks but they have a point.
@@James_Randalwhen did they say this?
I believe there is another reason why they won’t make a game in that setting, and that is they are afraid of the controversy it will come with.
Except Hitler actively hated secret societies and had members of them arrested. Which honestly would make for a better story, having Hitler working against both Assassins and Templars
@@James_RandalDesmond's silenced pistol in AC3 is semi auto.
@@Mephilis78 you only use that in once instance that doesn't count.
I love Assassins creed because if this lore so much. This is so intersting and I always learn so much in your videos
When it comes to Assassin's creed my first thing come in my mind is your videos
thats so dope to hear!
@@TheHiddenOne690 because ur thoughts for ac whether it's bad thing about it or good thing about it , it always matches with my thoughts
Ubisoft: non of our games are connected or share a universe thats all fan speculation.
Also Ubisoft: Abstergo and the animus is Canon in all our games
I still think it would be plausible to take downloaded memories and place them in biologically cloned bodies via Isu Technology thus bringing the characters back to life. It'd be a good way to fix certain story left undone such as questioning/redeeming Lucy, Ezio meeting Desmond, the Kenways making amends, Arno finally fighting Shay and avenging his father, etc.
My theory is that Abstergo is behind Ubisoft and they make AC Games to make it seem like its fake, but obviously theyre not the same games we know
Nah, AC and WD are connected.
Great video! I’ve had a idea for a assassin’s creed game that involves 2 or 3 diff characters storylines (kind of like gta5 but not really) where the players characters are changing possibly dying and their story would seem to be separate until towards the end we see how it’s all interconnected.
Since I don’t work for Ubisoft, I can only speculate…but…
I suspect that they said it’s “just Easter eggs” because they don’t want people to expect a game where the two factions work together.
Making a dlc that is a short story with the two interacting and committing to a full game involving that are two different things.
It’s probably just not something they want to take on.
Assassins creed lore is awesome
Assassin's Creed, Watch Dogs. And Far Cry are all linked together.
That’s what newer ACs lack of. The conspiracies that lie beneath surface waiting for you to discover and when you do, your spine will chill shiver, the creepiness.
Imagine an assassins creed game during the mongol empire time and we see Genghis khan as a side character
They can even make him as a templar grandmaster (according to me😅)
He would've been a third faction like selim or napoleon... A man who looks for power but not actually a Templar
Yah it can be but he would be more powerful and can be shown as a beast like figure

I love this franchise. I'm always taken back to a childlike wonder whenever I see an isu installation. Incredible. I just more recently got into the franchise with AC syndicate, and now I own them all. I just finished Mirage and plan to go back in Chronological order.
Origins is the best at least to me
@@Goodnightsrest it was such a good game!
I really enjoyed this video
I heard there is a mention of Jesus in AC an essentially he was js a normal man not the son of God not affiliated wit the Templars or Assassins an tht the miracles he performed were bcos he had an shroud of Eden wen the Romans heard of these under the control of the Templars they arrested, tortured, then crucified him and took the shroud his followers retrieved the shroud to try to resurrect him but all attempts failed
There is. He was an user of the shroud of Eden in AC lore. Clay Kaczmarek (Subject 16) confirms this in The Truth puzzles in AC II although i dont remember exactly which glyph it is. They do it by setting the shroud besides Christ nailed to the cross.
I find it so cool how they put their own twist on these old biblical figures and stories in a way that makes them feel a bit more believable to me.
Jesus was an ally of the Hidden Ones (Assassins)
Ive always had wondered about things like this
Ill always connect AC and WD as it can be explained that the game mentioned in that data breach or the movie posters can all be seen as Abstergo making them to try and expose the Creed
I hate that ac decided to expand into comics and wasted so many great ideas and events that could have been portrayed in the game
The Interface ship, I love that pink word thing
This is one of the things I loved about the Assassins Creed games… it was fun discovering how the real life conspiracies and mysteries were weaved into the lore. I wish they hadn’t gotten away from that so much. I don’t know, maybe they got too close to one of them lol and got spooked. I mean free masons and Templars were real once too. Lol They were on to something though. I remember the phenomenon of the Davinci Code book which did a similar thing. And these early games might have been inspired by that…
Now let's be honest you and me both know that is complete bs when he said WD and AC are not in the same universe and Easter egg reference my foot because why make a side request and a DLC if they not in the same universe that doesn't make sense at all and great video
One theory I have is that deadsec from watchdogs was founded by an assassin to round up hackers and create a hackers group to target Abstergo industries and discover their secrets. I also suspect Rebecca, who worked with Desmond and laylah is a deadsec member.
There’s more conspiracy theories in universe than I realized
15:48 yea I call bs. Bro is head of essentially gameplay. Not trusting him at all
That my friends, is called Denial.
I genuinely don’t think it’s just Easter eggs. I will die on it
First, love the content btw ❤
AC game during Hitler's reign would be terrifying, amazing, & awesome!
The sad part for me is assassin's Creed lore could be so much better if there was just some sort unified story
You should do an AC Iceberg video!
I've already made one
The greatest conspiracy theory of ac is on the templars.
Where are you getting the CGI footage? I haven't seen some of these and they are cool AF
Which parts?
I’ve heard the theory that Ubisoft is actually Abstergo.
But I think a more likely theory is that Ubisoft is actually controlled by the Assassins, not the Templars/Abstergo.
After all, given how the Templars *are the bad guys* in the AC games, wouldn’t it make more sense for the company making those games to be the Assassins?
Hidden one who’s your favourite assassin?
I personally love Jacob Frye and Edward kenway
The boring answer is Ezio.
but i'm leaning towards Bayek/Edward
Everyone will throw tomatoes on me but my fav is shay🙂
@@deyenterprises9003 totally understand that I like shay too I mean I like Jacob for God's sake
The only reason that made me love shay is his thinking.
He is the only ASSASSIN who understood the problem and left the brotheehood to make it more stable
I know that he killed many assassins and his ideology is like the templars but i think that he killed those assassins to directly or indirectly make the brotherhood clean and corrupt free unlike the templars
I have a theory about the Eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. My theory is that the eruption was caused by someone messing with a Piece of Eden like the one Shay accidentally set off that caused the Lisbon Earthquake.
What's wild is that AC's take on JFK is similar to Treyarchs take on JFK
A assassins creed game set in WW2 would be lit
I work near the Ubisoft Building and what you see with the AC movie poster is the same building located in San Francisco
It would be insane an AC in WWII. The dynamics between Hitler and the Templars, the use of the apple for mass control, assassins infiltrated in the reich and strugling to win the war would be such a cool narrative.
Very few times we feel oppressed in an Assassin's Creed game, despite the assassins almost everytime been in disadvantage. This would be a perfect opportunity to make an Assassin's Creed game were you really feel what is at stake. We fail, the world goes totally to shit.
Imagine going through all terrible shit, almost not been able to win the war just to find out thar Hitler escaped and now you're tasked to intercept him and kill him. That would be such a cool concept for an Assassin's Creed game
I've been waiting for this for years.
watch dogs mentioned 🔥🗣️
The time travel thing might not be about the destroyer like it is mentioned in the video, but I swear it already exists in the game with Arno in unity literally ending up in WW2 on the Eiffel Tower
For the comments that watchdogs and Assassins creed do not exist together, coming from the dev team itself. Please remember these are also the people who forgot that Assassins creed takes place in history and that magic, and mythological creatures should not exist
Make a lets play video!
We need this
If I was to do a let's play style video. I'd probably stream it as let's plays are a thing of the past.
Yeah
AC exists in watchdogs but Watchdogs does not exist in AC, we literally play an assassin in legion
3:55 and as a middle person of 3 men in black from the ending of AC1
I feel like with that last bit of that guy saying it’s just Easter eggs and aren’t linked as of WD2 would have been true but with WDL that statement would no longer be accurate as before it was small missable details but in Legion with the entire small section of the assassin character would prove that statement wrong as of like 2020-2022
imagine Hitler in the game has a plan to start ww3 in south America
If anybody is interested in a similar open-world parkour game set during WW2, I'd recommend checking out The Saboteur, you play as an irishman in nazi-occupied france and you can climb anything. Good mix of GTA and AC.
The reason Ubisoft won’t go into the JFK assassination or WWII for a game is because they are too recent of events which makes it too difficult to fudge details of the story to fit the lore of the franchise.
First mention of what happened to Oliver was in rogue.
i think the main thing with watch dogs and assassins creed is that the brotherhood and Aiden
Pearce exist in both universes
A modern day ac would be awesome
Something I would like to see is an Assassin's Creed setting in WW2 with the main game set during the war, and one of the expansions is set in the Soviet Union in the early 1950s, where your goal is to assassinate Joseph Stalin. The other expansion could be set in South America in the mid-late 1960s, where you are trying to hunt down and kill the last remaining Nazis who survived the war.
Id say subsidiaries. Blume and Ubisoft are Subsidiaries of Abstergo... Pretty sure that's there are even blatant hints and references like the use of Ctos and the fact the brotherhood has made use of hackers like Shaun and Rebecca. So its not to far of a leap. Despite the head creative lead saying otherwise... I don't understand why they don't say they are and have the Watch Dogs Legion be the fallen timeline of the Brotherhood or something... But i can see many people disliking that idea so meh. Would probably draw more attention to Watchdogs series.
(Edit was to fix the spelling of Shauns name)
Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed isn't connected, but there is a whole storyline with the Brotherhood and Templars and a playable Assassin in Legion... Right.
what is this song in the tungaska section ?
Did you guys know that Star Wars Rogue One and Star Wars A New Hope actually aren’t connected at all. They just contain a lot of Easter eggs.
They can’t gaslight us into thinking watchdogs and Assassin’s Creed aren’t in the same universe
De Glocke, any COD Der Riese fans? And the conspiracy about JFK kinda reminds me the plot of CODBO1.
I miss them adding actual.history to the games one of the reasons i loved history in school was cauze of the first 3 games especially 3 with the Boston massicare and tea party
Whatever ubisoft says, watch dog and AC are in the same universe for me, theres to much easter eggs, even abstergo in stocks exchange are in Legion
Anyone notice the subscribe button acting highlights on mobile atleast a Rambo circle spins around it telling you where the button is when he said “subscribe”
15:47 amar is wrong about his own game series
Based comment
Watch dogs is definitely the assassin, brotherhood and modern world and I hope it will come back
Bring back these types of ac games
Nah when I think of assassin's creed I think of shay from ac rouge non stop saying "I make me own luck"
Bro yk how much they can make from connecting the 2 games
Can u play mirage
I want a Revenge of the Sith style AC in Germany after WW1 till WW2.
How you forget about Aya killing Julius Cesar right before Brutus stepped in?
If ac had more hidden things and weapons and gear it would be top
Is Abstergo also in Far Cry? I don't remember which one. Is it a DLC or something, you go inside a building find a bunch of files or something talking about Templars and Assassins
Far cry 3.
Hearing mention of Die Glocke in a video not about CoD Zombies is slightly offputting to me idk why (im big into both AC and CoDZ lore, and they both use the real life Die Glocke for lore)
Bro, the entire CoD zombies lore is based on the Tunguska meteor event, according to that lore, a space rock containing large amounts of element 115 was what landed at Tunguska, element 115 is responsible for reanimating the dead, creating wonder weapons like the Ray Gun, and anything else mythical is explained simply by "Element 115"
Same here. Love both game's lore a lot. I like that both take advantage of these mysterious historical events and put their own twist on it. I had cod zombies in mind throughout the whole video while he was explaining all of this lol.
I don't care who says what but I strongly believe that an AC game in WWI would be amazing
Am I the only one who noticed the Templar style cross on hitlers suit
I know Ubisoft said, it is not connected. But wasn't there also a Abstergo logo in one of the Far Cry 3 DLCs? Or do i have it wrong in memory.
EDIT: Yeah it was in the Lost Expedition DLC
Bro why’d he have to ruin the fun in having a lore about the AC universe and watchdogs being connected. Garnaeu’s death to the brotherhood/aiden makes it worth while in not seeing him at all. But having the historical figures/ events changed in a way is crazy.
The problem about The Assassin's Creed and Watch Dogs Easter egg is that Ubisoft doesn't explain what actually happened to Oliver.
So despite saying it's not connected is entirely untrue because how else would you explain it.
No mention of apple of Eden in FarCry 3?
I’ve got a crazy one; it’s all true lol. Everything they put is pretty close to things that have been recorded to have actually happened in history except the overly magical Witcher 3 odyssey and Valhalla
Meanwhile I don't mind that AC and Watch Dogs aren't entire connected, I would like if at least Watch Dogs 1 was, or at least that there was an Aiden Pierce in the AC world, I mean that mission and the Origins file... Are kinda explicit.
Dude i could talk for literally hours on conspiracy theories linking real life and the world of assassins creed i cant wait to see if any of mine are in this, ill edit if they aren't lol
*Edit* none of the ones ive noticed were talked about such as the isu being very similar to the annunaki from the dead sea scrolls.
Which assassins creed games were used for this video
Just a quick reminder to those who don't know what conspiracy theory means. Conspiracy theory doesn't mean "a theory that's automatically wrong". A conspiracy theory is simply a theory someone has about two people or a group of people who are plotting against another person or another group of people. Hence the term conspiracy.
Conspiracy: Two or more people plotting against another person or group of people
Theory: an idea used to account for a situation or justify a course of action.
A ww2 assasins creed game with Hitler will newer come out . Because ubisoft Will have getting trouble with puplishing the game in Germany and Austria . Both countries have strict rules about about showing nazi symbols and Hitler in entertainment . So no ww2 game in that franchaise .
Sorry but AC not being connected to WD is just dumb after so many evidence
