Why does this oddly feel like how my Gale run is going to end? Cause lets face it, we all know Gale will not hesitate to marry you if you become a Mind Flayer while romancing him, so it oddly makes some sense if you're playing as Gale and romancing Karlach for this ending to work. Well, either that or I'll have Gale become the Mind Flayer and head to Avernus with her afterwards.

When I played with my husband we got another ending. Lae'zel kept the egg, we gave Esther owlbear one. She kept it till the end of the game but this playthrough we set Orpheus free and she decided to go with him save her people. At the end during party she was only present as some sort of hologram (?). I talked to her and she didn't mention the egg at all. We talked to others then started to read letters and newspapers. One newspaper had article about githyanki child crawling on the streets of Baldurs Gate xD so it looks like she left the egg before getting on the dragon XD

Unironically, she's the one mindflayer I'd stay with. I know she has my best interest out. And I will always be her little soldier.

I mean, I did make my Slytherin hero also to be able to sneak in Sebastian's bed at night and all that, but the boy really went on a dark path. Trying to save Ane at first is admirable but he did start using it as an excuse for doing evil sht. Oh well still not sending him to Azkaban (he deserves it) cause our hero is bigger more dangerous psyhcopath kinda...
