Far to the east of Westeros, lies the continent of Essos. Largest of the three known continents, birthplace of the Valyrians and in our tale the first great conquest of the last Targaryen, Daenerys Stormborn.
Where most military forces are mustered and trained in a castles garrison, Queen Daenerys draws on the loyalty and worship of readily trained fighting forces. When she marches to war, she does so alongside the thunder of a thousand hooves and the battle cries of the Dothraki horde, the elite marching footsteps and gleaming spear tips of the Unsullied, the unfaltering loyalty of the Stormcrow mercenaries, the loyal militia of Meereen and most importantly under the devastating gaze of the last three Dragons in the world..... all with one goal in mind. The reinstating of the last real dynasty and rightful Queen of Westeros.
In the game, Queen Daenerys' army is represented as a highly mobile but hard hitting force. Being able to call on multiple mini factions within her military to reinforce weakness' and tailor forces to deal with specific threats. This isn't only applicable to the army choice, this trickles through to the commander choice. Each Targaryen commander switches one of the base deck out for a fourth commander specific tactics card, easily allowing you to deal with all opposing your conquest of Westeros. Will you go to war with a complete force of cavalry commanded by the Great Khal Drogo or march the banners of the three headed dragon forward under command of Barristan Selmy. It doesn't matter, for who would stand in the face of Drogon's fury as Daenerys Targaren, Mother of Dragons marches at the head?
With the exception of Dothraki who hold no love for politics, many familiar faces will greet you from the tactics board. From the wealthy merchants of Illyrio Mopatis, Xaro Xhoan Daxos and Hizdahr Zo Loraq to the enigmatic Pyat Pree and Quaithe there are few favourites yet to be seen.

Great job, Grant & James! Videos like this are much needed (and much missed) in the community. Although the video format is long, it's a great faction introduction and pulse-check and I hope we continue to see more in this series!
