Hi Gerard, I did not revolutionize anything. I just returned to simple and efficient training and gave 100% for each training session. And, as you said perfectly - this is the foundation of everything when it comes about strength, muscle growth and a endurance. Thank you for your kind words!

Controlling the negative was what I did two days back. It was crazy I left the barbell with my spotter. I had to rest for 5 minutes. My Biceps were shocked
I used to think I trained hard and to failure until I learned about Mike Mentzer few months back. Now I train each body part once a week rather than twice and push myself real hard. When I now really push through the pain barrier I realise how half arsed my training was in the past. Quality over quantity

I train like this. I've never grown so fast doing just 4-5 work sets per bodypart per week. I do 2 sets to failure instead on 1.
@@eliteman58 when you are moving heavier weights you wouldn't need for a 2nd set to failure
@@tae6225 Thanks for your feedback. I'm seeing that just one set to positive failure per exercise is all that's needed.

I find it comical how everyone preaches HIT is King, and yet... Nobody does it!!
Because most people aren't mentally strong enough to be able to endure the pain that comes with the training. Most people are weak, just like you.

Majority of people wanna train 6 days a week at a moderate intensity and higher volume instead as they either can’t or don’t want to train to full intensity like this it’s not for everybody

No. Generally it would be a warm up set, medium warm up set, and then an all out set per exercise.
For Yates, almost always yes just 2 sets. One warmup set then no screwing around, just one more hard to failure. If there was a set in the middle it's only bc the person estimated the weight poorly. So just one hard "job is done, send the signal". Then next exercise. This works if u have the balls for it. Don't need crazy volume and junk sets
