With the coke signals, I learned (through experience) to watch my mineralisation bar strength go up high on the Orx then I knew it was coke for definite. So a little advice is to watch that mineral bar indicator, yes dig a few signals to put your mind at rest and when you dig coke, just go over it again and watch that mineral bar go up. Hope this helps :)

thanks for the great video. I have a permission where I have been asked to dig iron targets from a 19th century US narrow gauge railroad. Great video that Gary, the same applies to the Deus which I use so resonates for both machines. I’d love to see a video on how the finer settings on the Deus actively change signals such as TXPower, Silencer, Audio Overload, and ID Norm. These settings are rarely used by most users of the Deus and I feel with your help we could really get the most out of the Deus with these settings. Another one which is rarely used by Deus users is the machine in 4khz how good is the machine at hitting targets at 4khz and what difference does it make to how you detect. These would be good to see Gary. Thanks

Hi Gary. Enjoy your videos. Learning alot here. I reviewed them before I got a DEUS and just received a new DEUS a couple of days ago. Layed down the Equinox. Fact I like the DEUS and the sounds so well, just put me Minelab 800 for sale. I've put about 16 hours on the new machine and already got jewelry. One question, when I turn it on and I decide to select no speaker and just use the headphones(WS4), if you change the program in either the RC or the headphones, during a hunt, do both units communicate to ensure that the program being utilized, lets say by the RC is the same as the one selected in the headphone? As a rule Dave the low numbers below the disc number should give an Iron tone.

It's like coal, very light and normally comes in at about 26 / 27 on the target ID.

If they finalise the ORX, it will be a grand event. Just need to add 2 tones, volume and some depth. That's all! Deus is very expensive. And ORX costs more than multi frequency minelab vanquish , garrett apex. Makro simplex costs the same as 2 Orx. I thought the manufacturer would support their users. But no - they are advertising a new backpack. Why? How much have you been asked to add sound adjustment (it's a basic necessity, no need to ruin the reputation, it's stupid)? and at least 1 tone (impossible to tell the difference between corks, aluminium caps. If not an extra tone, the vdi can be stretched to 150. It will be easier for us)? ORX is more expensive than instruments with equal or greater depth of search, sound adjustment and more tones. Do something at least
