The fact that in Vanilla MK3 Noob Saibot was represented by a shadow sprite of Kano was probably unintentional foreshadowing for how he would be treated in the franchise long term. lol
Even just for him to kill Hanzo would have been an absolutely amazing thing that would have undone at least some of the damage because then you have the revenge factor and the idea of past sins catching up on Hanzo on long last. But man, Noob has been so unlucky it's not even funny.
But why would it be revenge though? Its clear that Bi Han is greatful for the power he got in his death. If anything he would be thanking Scorpion for the supposed upgrade.

Instead of using different types of weapons in the previous games, all he does is spam his stupid looking axes in this game. His design looks like a skinny generic Filipino and his costumes look like cheap cosplayer suits. The devs hate Sub Zero, and they're not even subtle about it in this game.

Everyone's returned, but where the hell is Quan Chi and Shinnok, and all the others? MK11 could have been a great game if not by story but by it's rich roster (with better and more inspired designs of course), but at the end of the day we get this.
Give any MK villain a chapter that lets them fight the heroes. Think of some contrived reason why the hero doesn’t die, but let the villain have some on screen wins!
I honestly have no clue why NS is so hellbent on making sure Noob and Scorpion don't have any meaningful showdown, back in the original timeline I could maybe understand given that technically they where on the same side after Noob died and went to the Netherealm and joined Quan Chi's forces which happened to include Scrorpion but of course this changed in MK4 when Scorpion finally turned on Quan Chi who was both of their masters, after that point Noob should have became enemies with Scorpion again given his hatred for Scorpion's clan and what he did to him, and now there is even more reason for Noob to finally go at Scorpion in the current timeline given that he is now actually actively with his brother and former clan which should disgust him and yet their interaction in MK11 is VERY meaningless and NS in happy to just keep sweeping their history under the rug which is a shame considering its a very long and dynamic history that could be capitalized on in a major way.
You missed something on Noob. In his MK Tournament ending he fatally wounded Goro. Sure it was a surprise attack and Goro was weary but, I'm sure Goro was still able to endure.

Cassie and Johnny Cage are so proud, talking about how they kicked Shinnok's ass, but it was Bi-Han who did it first. It's sad that he becomes a jobber in the new timeline, both as Sub-Zero and as Noob Saibot. The dude was one of MK's signature characters and one of the oldest fighting game icons, and he gets treated like Team Rocket for the new timeline.

I see folks saying that he should have some vendetta against Scorpion for technically killing him for the wrong reason... Bi-Han had already killed Hanzo before the first Tornament.. Scorpion wasn’t avenging himself but his family.. While Bi-Han does feel he was killed unjustly, for some reason he relishes his new existence and so he isn’t so much hell bent on killing Scorpion but just on being Evil.. he’s not even after Kuai Liang.. They just cross paths because it’s a side mission for Tundra to find and attempt to help his brother. He (Noob) just doesn’t want to be helped but that’s probably just the evil spirit attached to his soul speaking through him and thus he has no qualms about killing his “former” brother..
Bi Han And Kuais brother dynamic is such a badass piece of what mk games SHOULD focus on in its story mode I was so hyped to see a proper fight between them and idk it just felt lacking I think a mk movie should do it like this 1st Fight Kuai loses to the undead older brother due to less experience and the fact of a mental block he’s convinced Bi Hans better than him so he loses 2nd Fight Kuai Wins the younger brother finally surpasses the older brother I think this would be a great story arc if done correctly
The only reason why he lost to Sonya, Kung Lao, and his younger brother(and Nightwolf), is because the story needed to progress forward and the game designers wanted the player to win. Also, because good guys always win. HA! 😁

When they became revanant of Quan Chi they kinda happen to stop their real life rivalry. Scorpion and Noob Saibot are really just revanant names for Hanzo Hasashi and Bi-Han.
There are many fan favorites in MK that don't have any canonical and/or meaningful victories, but that doesn't make them any less loved. Nobody loves these characters for their story, we love them for their design and the way they play. The mythos around them came after that.
I love MK im a fan for life but,midway MK handled the characters better in my opinion. Bi han shoulda been a bigger threat especially because of his power change. They need to bring Havoc back as well as properly introduce Chameleon into MK.

You forgot the part when he canonically beat Goro in the original timeline (during the time of Deadly Alliance as told in his ending in the GBA version of MK Tournament Edition) and that leads to Goro being a bad guy again in Deception after being found and healed by Shao Kahn. So Noob Saibot had two victories in the old timeline.

Noob is a beast online. He's not one of the characters i play as often, but fighting players who are good with him online is always a challenge. It takes a good bit practice to get around his abilities.
Noob can make an army of clones, he can make portals for teleportation, to increase his momentum if he's body slamming someone or just to cut people in half by closing the portal on them. He can fire off ninja stars at automatic weapon speeds and he has defeated 4 gods and Shinnok himself and that was before his cloning and portal powers. All this, and he is a jobber. Godslayer to floor kisser after dying, Scorpion must have roasted the big balls he had when he was beating the shit out of dieties because he's never been on that level since, hell Scorpion may have taken them since he managed to defeat Raiden in the comics.
my poor boy Bi-han treated like the biggest jobber dissapears for 20 years and barely an explenation as to why he survived and according to his intros against jax he was always around but i guess he decided to not show up even when Shinnok was invading EarthRealm in the original timeline he got the upper hand on a tired Goro(MK:Tournament Edition ending) form a team with Smoke and attack the Lin Kuei Temple and well at least he got a win over his younger brother, those are his only victories as Noob Saibot i mean the guy should be just as strong as Scorpion
Well I do like Noob especially the Noob Smoke tag team in Deception they seemed like a force to be reckoned with and yes to his credit in the OG timeline he actually did beat younger Sub Zero in MKA Konquest. Shame they wrote him so poorly in MK11 this awesome classik kharacter never gets a tough break.

While Bi-Han does feel he was killed unjustly, for some reason he relishes his new existence and so he isn’t so much hell bent on killing Scorpion but just on being Evil.. he’s not even after Kuai Liang.. They just cross paths because it’s a side mission for Tundra to find and attempt to help his brother. He (Noob) just doesn’t want to be helped but that’s probably just the evil spirit attached to his soul speaking through him and thus he has no qualms about killing his “former” brother..

Bi Han And Kuais brother dynamic is such a badass piece of what mk games SHOULD focus on in its story mode I was so hyped to see a proper fight between them and idk it just felt lacking I think a mk movie should do it like this
1st Fight Kuai loses to the undead older brother due to less experience and the fact of a mental block he’s convinced Bi Hans better than him so he loses
2nd Fight Kuai Wins the younger brother finally surpasses the older brother
I think this would be a great story arc if done correctly
The only reason why he lost to Sonya, Kung Lao, and his younger brother(and Nightwolf), is because the story needed to progress forward and the game designers wanted the player to win.

I always wondered why wasn't there a rivalry between Noob and Scorpion. I mean as far as plot it would make sense.
When they became revanant of Quan Chi they kinda happen to stop their real life rivalry. Scorpion and Noob Saibot are really just revanant names for Hanzo Hasashi and Bi-Han.
There are many fan favorites in MK that don't have any canonical and/or meaningful victories, but that doesn't make them any less loved. Nobody loves these characters for their story, we love them for their design and the way they play. The mythos around them came after that.
So Bi Han is back as Sub Zero in the new MK. Let's see if he gets to be badass again or not.

I love MK im a fan for life but,midway MK handled the characters better in my opinion. Bi han shoulda been a bigger threat especially because of his power change. They need to bring Havoc back as well as properly introduce Chameleon into MK.

You forgot the part when he canonically beat Goro in the original timeline (during the time of Deadly Alliance as told in his ending in the GBA version of MK Tournament Edition) and that leads to Goro being a bad guy again in Deception after being found and healed by Shao Kahn. So Noob Saibot had two victories in the old timeline.

Noob is a beast online. He's not one of the characters i play as often, but fighting players who are good with him online is always a challenge. It takes a good bit practice to get around his abilities.
Noob can make an army of clones, he can make portals for teleportation, to increase his momentum if he's body slamming someone or just to cut people in half by closing the portal on them. He can fire off ninja stars at automatic weapon speeds and he has defeated 4 gods and Shinnok himself and that was before his cloning and portal powers. All this, and he is a jobber. Godslayer to floor kisser after dying, Scorpion must have roasted the big balls he had when he was beating the shit out of dieties because he's never been on that level since, hell Scorpion may have taken them since he managed to defeat Raiden in the comics.

my poor boy Bi-han treated like the biggest jobber dissapears for 20 years and barely an explenation as to why he survived and according to his intros against jax he was always around but i guess he decided to not show up even when Shinnok was invading EarthRealm
in the original timeline he got the upper hand on a tired Goro(MK:Tournament Edition ending) form a team with Smoke and attack the Lin Kuei Temple and well at least he got a win over his younger brother, those are his only victories as Noob Saibot i mean the guy should be just as strong as Scorpion

Well I do like Noob especially the Noob Smoke tag team in Deception they seemed like a force to be reckoned with and yes to his credit in the OG timeline he actually did beat younger Sub Zero in MKA Konquest. Shame they wrote him so poorly in MK11 this awesome classik kharacter never gets a tough break.
