I’ve always wanted Shujinko back. He could literally be an alternate skin unlockable for any character since he can use anyone’s moveset. It wouldn’t take much to add him in the game.
I'd be cool with Sareena finding the sword and trying to earn her freedom from the NetherRealm! You could even integrate Noob Saibot/Bi Han into that story line due to their shared history. Just a thought.

Jade Armageddon ending is one of the best if she won Armageddon she does a shriek which split the pyramids open and the Forces Of Darkness gets sucked in and she is celebrated and she becomes protector of Edenia Jade is so underrated.
I thought Scorpion's deception ending was canon for the longest time because in armagedon his clan was resurected and Scorpion was pissed because they were only undead.
Onaga was sent to the Netherealm in death. Nightwolf's spell held him there for awhile until the magic baddies released him to try and overtake the forces of light at the pyramid. Killed by Shujinko or Scorpion, I don't know.

The problem with Argus is that he actually didn't defend anything. It was never explained. He was just thrown into the MK lore like any other character like Ashrah, for example. All the MKA story/konquest mode made no sense. Argus is worried about the increasing power of the fighters but he's OK about Edenia being a battlefield for centuries. He sole job was to protect Edenia and he ... failed? I don't know, they never showed he even cared. The one who failed, who was defeated, who was actually worried about Edenia was King Jerrod. So, he was appointed God Protector of Edenia but he gave a sh1t and took a job, a responsability that is more suitable for an Elder God than a lesser one.
Say what you will about Shujinko, but I always thought his ending was pretty badass; absorbs the power of all the Kombatants and proceeds to actually destroy the Kamidogu (the very artifacts used to create the realms) before making Onaga his girlfriend. A god-tier showing and likely the only one his character will ever get.
I thought Ashra was a decent character and could have brought more to the story which is really all i care about in the mk games. The lore is freakin awesome which i why i love watching u point out every single plothole and injustice they commit against awesome characters. Btw WTF happened to Reptile in Sindel's ending??
Your kollection of Mortal Kombat endings is quite kool I just wish midway/nether realm/whoever made and kontinues to make endings makes them...better Watching them do their martial arts movements or single screen endings kinda sucks. The reason the 3D characters are the way they are they only had like 2 games for development when the og characters had a bunch including the 2 for the 3D characters

For me Havik's deception ending was one of the best because he was a great manipulator and it actually gave a reason for shao kahn to come back other than that stupid reason "oh it wasnt the real him the deadly alliance killed"
They had shao khans return fixed it was all good and gave havik more purpose but they decided for the sake of the gamecube version to replace with a bullshit clone story
