Nah. I would say Kenshi, easily because not only does he has a sword but also his telekinetic powers contribute to that of his sword. He was my very favourite in MK Deadly Alliance. Besides, maybe I just don’t know how to use Ermac properly specially in MKX and the fact that you have press the up button to perform his levitation move, it doesn’t execute properly, or this is probably the fact that I use it on the PS5 controller like myself and not the PC.
I like the 3D era, but there were some characters I don't have a fond of, such as Hsu Hao, Kobra, etc. Kenshi, though, is one of the 3D characters I like.

Kenshi may not be the strongest written Character in the Mortal Kombat series, but he is Hands Down the coolest Samurai/Ronin Character and was a worthy Newcomer back in the 3-D Mortal Kombat Era. Edit: I would give Kenshi a 7/10, I really Wish he had a stronger written Storyline to flesh out his Character, but I absolutely love the Idea of a Blindfolded Samurai/Ronin Character in a Fighting Game like Kenshi.
If Netherealm wasn't so lazy, they could salvage and update more 3d-Era characters, such as Li-Mei, Nitara and the boys from the Order Realm. There is so much potential... and yet they shoehorn god damn Dvora...
The Daredevil of MK 11. So underrated, he has so much potential. Could have his own story, series, the spotlight. Main character material. But he is wasted and left to dust. 11/10 easily one of the best characters and my second fav MK character of all time.
The blind swordsman is a martial arts troop so classic I’m surprised it took Boon this long to incorporate it in Mortal Kombat. Kenshi is a dope character!

When it comes to a Story Mode in Netherrealm's Mortal Kombat and Injustice Games, they always attend to make the Good Guys playable in a Chapter Run, But I don't get why Kenshi didn't get his own Chapter Run even though he's one of the Good Guys, but instead his Son Takeda has his own Chapter Run, what a Disappointment.
Kensi is one if the coldest characters period. Not just MK but any fighting game. That fatality he had in MKX with the other fighter going the spinning sword is one of the coldest fatalities in MK.

I always loved Kenshi as a character since DA. My only issue is that they attempted to make him the next Liu Kang then. Liu Kang is irreplaceable. I was so hyped when they brought him back in MK Legacy season 2 (even though it sucked). Then they bring him back in MKX and decide to kill him in 11. It's heartbreaking what they've done to him.

I liked Midway era OG timeline Kenshi easily much better written like in Deception he allies with Sub-Zero whom was the one to nurse his wounds from Mavado he had a more lone wolf feel to him only allying with SF cause they could travel to Outworld where he’d exact revenge on Shang Tsung that is legendary so in the new timeline MK9 is nothing with DLC and MKX he is out of kharacter why would he remain with the SF the only reason he did was for an opportunity for vengeance in the OG timeline so cause Shang Tsung was dead he wouldn’t be there still helping SF so NRS got his kharacter wrong plus they couldn’t maintain the legendary rivalry between Kenshi and Shang Tsung because in every entry after MK9 one or the other is dead canonically. Great kharacter though 9/10 easily and yeah NRS doesn’t know how to handle 3D kharacters since Kenshi is one of the best.
Hands down Kenshi is by far my favorite character in the game, franchise, or fighting game history. And now we have him back in MK1 and hoooly **** is he the guy. Finally, he gets a sick backstory that's actually fleshed out, finally he gets a chapter, finally he's getting the love he has deserved since his inception (wish we could play as "awakened" Kenshi in the story but meh). This character is a maniac, and his drip has always been on point. Not a fan of the kombat kids but Takeda was really strong and I'm happy he's coming back Now we just need the special forces to find something else to do besides chase Kano for eternity( looking at you Sonya), and for them to find a way to make Cyrax human again. Love to Baraka, put a mask on Ermac, never let Meagan Fox voice anything ever again, and we're golden
Further and final disrespect in MK11 though. They really had the guy take an off screen L.. why? So you can get his blindfold as a collectable krypt item. Terrible
for people how said that kenshi is weak: he killed sheeva in argus tower(mk Armageddon) he killed shang tsung twice(mk x , mk deadly alliance) he killed kira and tremor(mk legends snow blind) he defeated most of the world professional sword men and no one of them could beat him(original story) he killed hotaru when he suddenly attacked him and sub-zero (mk deception) he killed taven's brother ,daegon(mk x) he could defeat scorpion and sub-zero , at least cast them out of sonya's helicopter (mk x)
I fail to see how Kenshi is underrated in the slightest. The general consensus amongst the fans is they love him. And he was one of the few characters that got a live action depiction in the Legacy web series before even some 2D era characters ever got a live action depiction. He is one of the only 3D era characters to have a big role in the new era NRS timeline. He is even treated way better than a lot of the 2D era characters- Stryker, Sektor, Cyrax, Kintaro, Motaro, Kabal etc. Kenshi is hardly what I would ever call “underrated” he is a spoiled 3D era character
Kenshi is top tier! 🙌🏾. I give him an impressive 10/10. Though, I have to admit that those who make the storylines and the chapters of specific characters lack the dedication of making certain characters at their best. I mean MKX is a clear and better example, because Cassie Cage defeating corrupted Shinnok, Jin beating Erron Black, Jacqui beating Ermac, Reptile, Ferra/Torr, and also Takeda, beating Ermac, Reptile etc. I mean MK9 story mode was fair but the story mode had some same twist of Armageddon. MK11 story mode was actually decent. However, ultimately, it just goes to show that any game with the most weakest and lane charctaters but cool personalities will always be the ones to win against/beat characters that are the most OP and high potential of attacks, defence etc, truly because most games demand this as their true intentions and outline.

Disappointed that he is not playable in Mortal Kombat 11 along with his son Takeda. The developers would discard interesting characters like Smoke, Kenshi, Kai, Shujinko, Cyrax, Sektor, Motaro, Nitara and Chameleon but keep stereotypical characters like Cassie Cage Smh. 10/10 for me he is a cool character I like to use during my time in the 3d Era. He reminds me of Snake Eyes from Gi.Joe and Marvel character Daredevil. Even though the Krypt is not canon I dislike him being a cameo where he was dead. The story from that game is already disappointing enough.
Easily the best 3D era. I'd put (if they count) Fujin as number 2 and Quan Chi as 3. It's also awesome how the best Kombat Kid is his son too. Kenshi is 9/10 for me. Always was a favorite and his design was sick as is his connections in the lore. Why he and Takeda weren't in MK11 is beyond me.

Disappointed that he is not playable in Mortal Kombat 11 along with his son Takeda. The developers would discard interesting characters like Smoke, Kenshi, Kai, Shujinko, Cyrax, Sektor, Motaro, Nitara and Chameleon but keep stereotypical characters like Cassie Cage Smh. 10/10 for me he is a cool character I like to use during my time in the 3d Era. He reminds me of Snake Eyes from Gi.Joe and Marvel character Daredevil. Even though the Krypt is not canon I dislike him being a cameo where he was dead. The story from that game is already disappointing enough.

Easily the best 3D era. I'd put (if they count) Fujin as number 2 and Quan Chi as 3. It's also awesome how the best Kombat Kid is his son too.
Kenshi is 9/10 for me. Always was a favorite and his design was sick as is his connections in the lore. Why he and Takeda weren't in MK11 is beyond me.
