Kick ass lens and the build is amazing. Mine has hit concrete twice, once it got completely obliterated. It got mostly fixed and still keeps going

Very interesting but I am very concerned that this first version has quality control problems, especially because I was thinking of buying it used. At the place where I usually shop I will have to take a laptop and take several test shots. The price difference between the G1 and G2 versions is practically double. Thank you so much.

im not sure if i should wait and save up for the G2 or just pull the trigger now on the G1. thanks for the video
The optics are the same, on the G2 they improved the built quality, image stabilization and added a fluorine coating on the front element.
@@AndreiDimaReviews hmm yea. you know i might just wait 2 months or so and get the G2 i like that its newer and will probably last longer with the better build quality. and i like that the image stabilization and auto focus is a bit better. thanks for the reply.

Salut! Am un Tamron 24-70mm f2.8 Canon G1 și am observat că uneori când filmez, imaginea face un "jump" ciudat și se aude un sunet ca și cum aș schimba setările diafragmei. Pe lângă asta apar niște urme roșii în jurul subiectului, ca și cum aș focusa manual, îmi oprește servo autofocus și câteodată se oprește brusc în timp ce filmez. Asta după ce face jump. Care ar fi problema? Diagrama, VC-ul sau motorul de focus? Am testat pe doua aparate : Canon M50 și Canon Rp. Aceeași problemă... 🤔🥺
Salut! Posibil sa fie motorul de focus și diafragma. Posibil diafragma sa se blocheze pentru ca este uzata. De cât timp ai obiectivul?
@@AndreiDimaReviews, e cumpărat acum o luna de pe Olx, proprietarul a zis ca e ok. La primele verificări nu a fost nimic în neregulă, când am început sa filmez cu el mai multe ore am observat problema. Ideea e că aș vrea să știu dacă merita reparat sau sa cumpăr altul 😂😂

Bought the lens after seeing your videos but I must’ve got the bad one, at 100% zoom there is little to no sharpness in the pictures. Tried both auto and manual zoom and it made no difference. VR is also on, but it’s just not sharp at all with my d850. Is there anything else I can try before sending it back and hoping to get more lucky next time?
Hello, when you say ''auto and manual zoom'' you mean focus? Put the lens on a tripod and take photos using manual focus and turn off the VR, if you don't get good results like this you need to change the lens. This lens has some bad quality control.

Does this lens auto focus well on R6 too? Some says its very slow..
I use Servo eye af a lot btw :)
I tried it on Nikon Z6 with the adapter and it worked fine, it is very snappy on my Nikon d850. I never tried it on Canon.

I have a Tamron 24-70 f2.8 di vc usd lens, but I am encountering problems such as flash firing at certain intervals of 3 to 5 minutes during video shooting. Why? I do not have this problem with my machine or other lenses.

Hello everyone is it compatible with all features with d780?
I didn't try it on the d780 but I don't think you will have problems with it. People had some problems with the FTZ adapter on the z6 and z7 but from what I know they where fixed!
i guess i;m late cause i'm just seeing this video lol well i have the 80d and i'' buy the 90d later on maybe by christmas. but everybody telling me about the 24-70 saying that's the best lens to buy especially the 24-70 from canon and tamron. i'm pretty good at taking pictures but i don't want the camera to do everything for me but i want to take great pictures in either manual mode or tv mode cause aperture mode is staring make my pictures at night look bad. i need to get my pictures at night time to look better. i know i need a flash and i'll buy one the godox 860 iii

Hello, it is good but a bit slower when focusing then the Nikon version!
