Better build than linus 🤫
soo true
Another amazing build mate. Thanks for another great episode.
Nice! the table length expansion arms are a nice touch.
That's what i call Art, amazing build!
Thanks for doing pretty much the only in depth review on this case. Others have done some unboxing and some builds but none that I'd really call a review of what it's like to live with and things that might be roadblocks or selling points for someone considering one. The leg room was a big concern that your video addressed. I ordered my DK-05FX today. Can't wait! Mine won't be very fancy. In fact it'll probably be the least impressive DK05 build ever, aside from that I3 rig the one guy did that his viewers bitched about, but not having a sponsored tech channel and with GPU's being impossible to come by these days I'm pretty hampered. I guess I get to make what is probably the world's first air cooled DK05 normie build.
Thank youi for taking the time to explain this system. I really saw the work that went into it and the overall value of the system as a whole.. I like that desk and the additional width you gave it. Great job as a builder I found this very interesting. I will be getting a couple of them for my office especially for my wife who is shorter and likes to stand and sit at the desk from time to time. Thanks. Dean
Absolute madman!! Can tell a ton of work went into these videos. Watched every second. Both times 👍
Thank you. It means a lot :)
The side wooden shelves look great. I wonder if it’s possible to put another longer third shelf along the back so you could then clamp the monitor arms or even a single arm that supports multiple monitors in the middle of that shelf. Very awesome build and video, thanks for sharing,
Just Outstanding... Was hypnotized by the system fill... 🏆...
Damm Mate, you do some pretty Sick Build s but this is definitely the Tightest So Far !!! Thanks for all the Extra breakdown content as well...
I just finished my dk -05 build, it came out amazing. Definitely an expert difficulty level project. Thanks for the very detailed review.
What if you're not an expert and you want to build one? Also gow does a person become an expert at building PCs(apart from working as a pc builder)?
@@mohammeded-dahbi7603 I wasn't implying that i am an expert, compare it to a puzzle. There are different skill levels, the difficulty level increases as the number of pieces increases. When I see content creators reinventing the wheel over and over again. building the same rectangle shaped pc, just a different brand. I question, why not challenge yourself and learn by doing and build something more challenging and unique. That's my passion for knowledge and perfection. I believe experience is how you become an expert sir.
@@GoodspeedsReviews I think you got me wrong, what I was trying to say is do you think someone who has never built a PC can build this one after acquiring the sufficient knowledge?
Considering its been a year.
What's your own review on the desk case?
Did you do water cooling or pure airflow?
How's it overall treating you? And importantly, how's the situation with dust?
I assume not having a case on the floor, but a desk hybrid case is doing wonders for the eternal dust problem of PC's.
How's the heat? does the desk become a bit too warm during a summer while being nice and toasty during the winter? or barely noticeable?
Witouth ever having had one, I feel a desk/pc hybrid is easier in terms of managing dust and overall saving space.
I realy like the new backround!
I rarely say this - It was a real good and honest review you brought up all the bits and nits you had it really looked like you tried to not miss anything so thank you very much wish there was more such quality content but it seems reviews now are more about making flashy videos and not so much about an actual aiding review. So once again thanks
Thank you
Never seen something as beautiful as this, my mind is blown.
Looking forward to that moving day.
Thank you so much for this vid as the other "reviews" just skate over a lot of stuff and were of little value. I bought this desk and am slowly getting my parts together. I emailed Lian Li 2 days ago about the large bracket needing cross bar support. Way too much wobble with my 38". I need to look at your solution on a big screen. Love the Ikea table extensions! I am going with a USB KVM, but found one with a remote so I can hide the KVM switch. Again thank you for the detailed info and inspiration.
Thank you and good luck
@@GGFEvents After several late nights working on this, now I know why you said good luck! I am beginning to wonder what I have committed myself to and so is my wallet, lol.
Man, great build! I am just wondering how you would approach draining? I noticed you placing a cap over the Uni drain port. Also, in 8:46 the tubing installed on the top left fill port of the Uni did you drill a hole and installed a pass through fill port? Or is it purely aesthetics?
❤ I appreciate your 0 to 100 review.
Damn Stuart this is a mean desk top 👌🏼
I bet that glass gets uncomfortably warm when you're gaming on one system and editing a video on another
@@lilgodvin Just stop being poor
@@lilgodvin I just saw you comment on another video that you were hoping to build another pc that didn't even cost much. Imagine flexing money and you can't even build a pc
can you please show how you made the wooden extensions and were to buy the brackets and everything else
GLORIOUS PC MASTER RACE
Hi. This is the absolute ultimate build. You cannot build anything better than this. Awesome video. You explained literally everything about this PC deskcase.
I only have one question. I see that you've put Gigabyte Aorus TRX40 Xtreme as workstation mbo. Gigabyte says it's a XL-ATX format. But Lian Li says only E-ATX fits. Did it fit without a problem? Is XL-ATX even defined properly? It should be 1 PCI slot longer?
dream build
The Mystic fog looks great at first, mine fell out after 90 days!
This is beautiful. I have a monitor arm from Wali, as I use only one monitor. Will that support this, or do I need a stronger arm?
Just a heads up: I'm having problems installing the EK-Quantum Reflection DK-05F Right in a Lian Li DK-04F. Using a EKWB PE 480 radiator and the fans that come with the desk (25mm thick) the entire assembly is about 3mm too high. Even if I could get the radiator assembly in the Lian Li 04F the ports on the DK-05F Right don't line up with the ports on the EK-Quantum Reflection Uni 140 D5 pump (the reason why I bought the combo in the first place so I could use straight runs). I've put in a trouble ticket with EKWB but so far no joy. On a side note: Where is the drain port on your build?
Amazing build , I'm building the same desk right now and have a question. What are the fitting combinations you used to in between the quad radiator and the distribution plate? Also can you post a link for that 3ft SATA extension? I searched and searched, but came up short.
Brother did u ever figure out about the fittings and Sata cable I'm about to start building my desk now and was wondering the same fucking thing
@@moto223 if your build is donne could u tell me is there like any vibration? from your pc running or is it sturdy enough ?
@GGF Events, I am currently building my desk and was curious how you wired the Molex adapter to work with the desk switch without needed either of the PCs on? I too use both systems 50/50 and dont want to have to turn the other system on just to clear the glass. I have the molex adapter plugged in, but as soon as I plug it in, the glass clears and the button on the desk does is inoperable so I cant smoke the glass back out. Only way to smoke it out is to unplug the molex adapter from the wall.
Question has the metal bracket holding up the computer screens that you reinforced caused the case/desk to bend at all from the weight?
This build is amazing ! It's crazy, but do you think that in this desk case, we can put 2 more rtx 3090 on each system for a total of 4 rtx 3090 ? 😲
I soo want this desk to replace my ok ikea desk. :)
Hello, can you tell me where you built the drainage for the systems at? I'm building in the desk as well and have been stuck trying to figure this part out
This is a win for the pc master race, thank you all for coming.
I've watched this video and the other one and am trying to figure out. How did you connect the 480mm rads to the distro plate. It looks like you used extenders but there would have had to be a MM extender in there at some point and I don't see it on your parts list.
I came here not expecting to see anything new but DAMN was I wrong. THANK you for even mentioning the depth issue for taller persons and THANK you for that glorious IKEA extension idea. :-) (and not thank you for making my wishlist longer with that AE-9 ;) )
Haha no problem.
@@GGFEvents 11 months later and it's standing next to me, including the IKEA extensions. Came back to this video to refresh my memory on your recommendations - thanks again :-)
Do you have any idea or suggestions on a alternative for the EK-Quantum Reflection DK-05F Right/Left D-RGB - Plexi since EK has discontinued them. I want to make a build like this myself but if i cant get the distro plates its kinda making me reconsider
How many of each fitting did you buy, for just one side?
can you do a push pull config with the bottom ek 60mm rads or is there not enough space because of the distro plates.
i still cant believe corsair or logitech didnt make a keyboard mouse combo for games that can connect multiple pcs through wireless dongles adn can be switches with a click of a buttong for things like macro keys or maybe streamdeck
At 19:40 he says he managed to connect the glass control to an external molex. How exactly is this done? Is a sata to molex adapter used to connect the front panel's sata power connector to the molex ac brick, or is something else done?
Wish they made even bigger tables, I currently have a desk of about 2m in lenght... 2.40m would actually perfectly fit the area I want it in. 1.40m just doesn't cut it 😢
This has me questioning my whole setup rn and I have a $3500 desk
I'd wish Lian Li did another version or revision with dual system controls. Also those RGB and fan buttons are not neccessary. 3 separate buttons for system start, reset and the glass would be better and maybe put that one in the middle.
so what temp dp you have when running games? I mean the temp of the water if you track that?
The Hyper Car of computer builds.... : - ) Most will never afford. : -( Fantastic Build!!!!
this build is like soo insane how did you get so much money to build this
Is this big enough to house a console on one side? I have a PS4 PRO and I would like to put it in one side and my PC on the other side
It's a shame that securing parts alone for a build like that is virtually impossible at the moment... Crazy times these we live in... 😡
What monitor arms did you use?
Amazing... I wish. That is electronic art.
If you replace these gpu for an rtx 4090 what you Weill need to change too
Wow
Amazing pc
a dream that will never come true
can you conect all fand/rads to onr pc if you don't want too build 2 pc is case?
I will get one of these...
Does anyone know the song playing in the second half of the build showcase chapter??
Very good
is the tempered glass tough?
I've got a question, at 10:28 you have a run from the EK-Quantum Reflection Uni 140 D5 PWM D-RGB - Plexi going to the left and doesn't appear to be filled. I was wondering if that's just a aesthetics choice or was that run supposed to do somewhere?
For future bleeding and to check pressure without having to remove the glass top
@@GGFEvents Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. Have to ask how much does the whole table weight, loops filled?
holy shit this is a beast.
Where can i buy the better arm support @ 31:23min - Montior Arm Support - i hope u can help me THX
Stuarts you can make a video test a some videogames
How to drain fluid ?
" you wana see it again " like u don’t know us :)
31:22 Hello, very good, thanks for the advice in the video, but I would like to ask you how you have done the support, in case you have the plan or something to be able to request that they make me 1, since I have the same problem
So can you turned off for one system? Or that power button will shut down both of them?
2 separate power buttons
The table is a bit small to put 2 mice with 2 keyboards.
How much storage does that thing have?
could you fit a rtx 3090 in this monster? Im assuming yes... but you know what they say about assuming
Ah yes, the ultimate PC case that you dont have to worry about the space on your table xd
I like the desk but i didn't get it since i want it in white
Dream PC 😭😢
Lol, doing things slowly just does work like slow motion!!!
How would you even drain that type of loop?
You can drain any unusual loop with an air pump. It will push all the fluid out through an exit point.
Cool
i cant find it. IVE BEEN TRYING TO BUY THE DANG THING FOR YEARS WTF!!!!!
I LOVE the idea of making a desk pc build, but that desk/case pc it's way too expensive, anoying to clean and to small for me...
leg room looks a bit unconfortable
B-E-A-UTIFUL
'montiro' arm
who know music from 10''10, please tell me
Volumetrically-speaking, no. The TX-10D is way larger.
Can use there psu in this case
Sorry desk
Still cheaper than the Digital Storm Aventum X 😁
such a nieche product... too espansive for a normal user, and too limited of a desk for one that has the cash to outfit his home.
I also went for a custom 3m long hardwood desk
The small room for the legs is why I wouldn't buy it. I want more room for the legs and I hope they will design the DK06 in a way to give more space for the legs. I also would love to be able to change the opacity from 0% to 100% and make it look like a normal desk. The effect when showing it to others would be awesome and as I am not a LED guy I would prefer not to get distracted by light from the inside of the desk. Do it, LIAN LI! ❤
CLICKBAIT : this is not the largest pc case ever the largest one is the first ever pc’s case its size the same as a whole room
If not obvious im joking but about the room size case im not joking about that
bros u tryna send me a 1660
I need this in an L shape
But will it bee enough for a triple monitor on the right
And a single monitor (gaming) on the left?
First Comment!!!
lol
Too expensive !!
Can you make me a free Pc that can run Warzone at 200 plus Fps
Can they integrate a PC into a toilet? It would save me a lot of time.
video: 1 click likes: 7 me dafuq?
This pc is not recommended for ragers...
