just came back to frank after 3 years and he has not changed, looks like hes still editing his own videos and everything still feels up to the high standard it was before. cant say the same for all tech creators since ive left the space. but i am glad that frank has kept his standard up and continues to pump out passionate videos

I actually picked up a Fio R7 last week after seeing all its capabilities. The only shortcoming it has is the slight delay it has in sound if you plug your computer in thru the USB input, but otherwise this thing is absolutely incredible and a bargain for what it is.
It there a way to fix the delay through software? Or is it a limitation of the device?
@@banksajay3320 The solution is simple, all you have to do is connect your computer to the Fio R7 through a different input source (optical, coaxial, or Bluetooth).
The usb connection delay is only a real problem if you’re a video editor like me and need the audio synched perfectly with the video, or when doing things like playing games. If you’re just using your computer for other general purposes or listening to music, it’s not an issue really, but thankfully the workaround is very simple and a non-issue in my opinion.

If you're into high end audio, I would recommend checking out the Kali IN-5 studio monitors. There's also the IN-5c's which from what I know are exactly the same, just has hardware to mount them.

The Fio R7 I hope would get Android system updates. Coming with an already very outdated OS, I would worry in 5 years that it will be incompatable with apps and updates... not to mention the security updates.

I’ve wanted one of those Fiio monstrosities for so long now. That’s what I’ve been waiting for. Just so expensive. Looked for other options too but nothing that offers the same. I’ve even looked at DIYing one but nothing does it for my like the FiiO.
Still down to build something myself since I don’t need every feature, hoping the open source community likes this as much as I do. 🤞

For the khadas edge, there are now some ryzen options that are the same size, so add windows to that same form factor and a plenty zippy processor and its cool af.

@@timodeurbroeck9957 hmm, companies like Beelink / Minisforum seem to make ok ones I guess for something fast but they are quite expensive compared to rk3588s based systems like this khadas. If you search around for ryzen mini pc there are quite a few options but still many are kind of pricy for what they are. Honestly you would be probably be cheaper and have more fun grabbing a 64gb steam deck and a cheap dock or so ? 🤭.
They are slower than the latest ryzen chips used in mini pcs by quite a bit, so it really depends on how much you expect from a device. Still they should be a magnitude faster than 3588 I guess... a middle ground ? With the added bonus of also being a handheld hehe. You can sometimes grab ryzen laptops with dedicated nvidia gpu for cheaper than some mini PCs, but then it's not quite mini.

That Fiio R7 Looks sick. Definitely have a few use cases in mind for something like this.
A tricked out single-board computer, a amp/dac/digital audio player combo, and a lenses collar which I never knew existed nor that I wanted.
You've pleasantly surprised me with this video.
That 47 is definitely on my wish list. I work a various theaters and need a payback for pre/post show that is easy to take with me. I had using my phone for obvious reasons and using my laptop sometimes is a hindrance. Very cool!
Can you talk more about the Dac/Amp, Fiio R7, you showed please? Id like to hear your experience with it before pulling the tigger

I wonder with that Edge 2, can you install RetroPie on it...sice you can utilize the Linux OS🤔🤔. I'd love to get this and use it just for emulation as well...but not have any desktop stuff...just auto boot right in like RetroPie

It has a fuction to enable for master eq witch is amazing

It’s so cool seeing people using the WorkLouder keyboard, I have followed them from when they were barely getting started via LinkedIn it was honestly really cool and their new keyboard is FIIIIIIIRE
Rotating camera mounts aren't anything new, but the Atoll you featured is significantly cheaper than rotating mounts available 10+ years ago. I have a Manfrotto mount from 2010 that cost $180, if I recall, and Manfrotto doesn't make it any more

Honestly, I'm still shocked at how small that mini pc is and how functional it could be in so many applications.
With that amp dac, is there a way to use cans with a 2.4 ghz dongle? Non Bluetooth.

Never thought I’d see such weird niche keyboards on such a mainstream channel, especially as one of your favorites. I’ve known of work louder products for a while and they look so unique.
The Fiio R7 Amp/DAC is an amazing little piece of audio tech and can be used in numerous ways. I’m actually impressed with what’s on offer for the money!🥰😳🤩🤯💪👍

You could get a 1440p monitor instead because it will be easier on your GPU and your wallet and 1440p is the sweet spot
@@playon6481 I am already blessed with two LG 27GL850s and the OLED is 100 percent a want (which is why I'm saving for it). But I have done some art and animation work on a friend's 4k OLED and stuff just pops and I get a lot of real estate to work with. I agree that 1440p is enough honestly... but the same can be said with just getting 100 usd dac/Amp and using your phone instead of buying that sweet, sweet Fio
