This is heartbreaking all around... I'm like an uncle to a Russian 6 year old boy living in Vietnam... He is such a kind-hearted, charming adorable little guy. Even in Vietnam this little 6 year old is being bullied for being Russian now - being told Russians are bad people by his friends! He came home crying and saying he is not a bad guy... Totally breaks my heart that average Russians who may very well be anti-war, anti-Putin are suffering... This innocent little guy has a heart of gold, how could people blame him!??!?!

Being like that since I was born 30 years ago, at some point you get used to the whole world hating onto you in the media, on the internet, in the movies, and get used to live and growing up under sanctions and not having nything, actually does benefit with some very neat surviving skills, including to survive anywhere in the world and adapting. And when you get older and smarter, you stop saying that you are russian at all. Just pick any other nationality. Make up a country who cares. Though I dont care about the hate , as it says more about people who r xenophobic and idiotic, than me, but I do not want talk , with ppl I just met, about war or politics with people who understand absolutely nothing about either and know about ukranian and russians bonds in some cases as well. A lot of us have family and friends there, a lot of us, half ukranians, with family on both sides me icluded, growing up on both sides as well. Or that we have a lot of ppl trying to get help and support for russian civilians fleeing, and protesting for them.. But do foreigners know about that? Of course not, the ones who scream the loudest are the most ignorant ones, as the time always shows.

@@lsdstrawberry6260 - Sorry to hear you feel so much anti-Russian sentiment. Not everyone feels that way. I visited Russia a couple times and loved it - came home and started taking Russian lessons (1.5 years - 2 hours a week class - but no real opportunity to practice so I gave up) - and I have Russian friends, which is why I have the 6 year old Russian boy who is like a nephew to me - he is the best and I adore him (though he laughs at me when I try to speak Russian! LOL!) Also visited Ukraine and loved it too - very cool country. The close personal ties between Russia and Ukraine make the invasion, brutal destruction and killings all the more shocking - these are brother nations... It's really heartbreaking to see this happening. And to just stereotype Russians (particularly a 6 yr old boy) for Putin's decisions is so unjust. Russia has a fascinating history... and suffered far more than its Western allies in WWII - and I admit, Americans see themselves as the saviors of WWII and at times forget Russia was even in that war. So I can understand Russia's interest in keeping NATO off its borders, but I don't think any country in NATO has an interest in attacking Russia - only in defending itself from Russia. (Which we can see is legitimate). Putin made a bad step for everyone - no one wins in this.

As with most military vehicles, jets do not have keys. It turns out that keys pretty much only keep honest people honest.
The big thing is that while it was nice of Poland to offer, Ukraine doesn't really need MIGs. They need precision anti-aircraft and anti-tank drones. Small, hard to hit, cheap and easy to operate. MIGs have a very small use in this sort of conflict.

A lot of the oil pumped from the US is sold overseas. It is not the right type to be refined into automobile fuel. It's too thin and needs to be blended with oil from other sources. Generally that would be because the military itself does. It’s partly why wars never go as planned. Compassionate, caring, honest, freedom loving young men go overseas and act nothing like the mindless psychopaths basic training is supposed to make you into. If American soldiers and marines did as the government expected, we’d be in the same predicament as Russia. The other reason is because most of the bad things the American government has done, have been directed at the American people.

Every single nation that has been or will be has or will have “dirt” on them. People have no idea what America really is…….. It’s an empire but a unique one. Go anywhere in the world and you will find American influence. But unlike other empires we don’t conquer other nations we just beat them into submission or talk or them into it, then plant our values in their government. The problems we’re having today is because our politicians are trying to move our country away from that role. And when you take the biggest kid out the playground the next big kid will take his place. So the choice is simple either we keep the peace or let china and Russia run amuck and bully all the little kids. At the end of the day it really comes down to two questions would you rather have America leading the way or communist China 🤷‍♂️
