I'm commenting before watching to praise Rob for a fair and balanced assessment of Sons in AoS 4.
I'm sure I won't be let down by snide remarks and belittling. Which is tricky, given the size of gargants, but there you go!

I'm not a Gargants player but i just wanted to voice my undying support for the formation that has them hold hands. I think more Gargants should hold hands.

One thing you missed on the Warstomper: he has 4 stomps instead of 2, so if you give him the Extra callous feet he goes for 5 atk at 4+, 2+, rend 3 (4 vs infantry) dam d3+1. That is 6.25 dam vs armor 3+ for just that weapon (8.33 with AOA). That's pretty good.

I'm a strength coach, and a SoB fan, can confirm, I rarely count to 4.
I'm brand new to AoS and decided on the Sons of Behemat to be my first army because I really like the models. The fact that they are giants just smashing and stomping everything to bits without much strategy is rather compelemntary to my 'unga bunga' playstyle.
Your videos have been a huge help to not only introduce me but also to learn about AoS so thank you!
(Considering starting Hedonites of Slaanesh as a second army because their models simply look fantastic)
I can't wait to give this a listen. As a Behemat player it's hard to find good content on the army.

I bought the big giant and like 4 boxes of giants when this book was first released because I wanted to completely kitbash them, but they seem to get weaker with every patch and update. The original list was one warstomper and a bunch of giants because he gave them +1 damage, now I have no idea what to do. I still want to build the army but I don’t think my models will work.

Disappointed by the stand alone Mega Gargants Warscrolls and rules, however, I think they're massively more interesting to bring one of for another destruction army, partly due to them retaining their control score as well as some interesting rules.
I think as regiments they are fun picks and it's nice to have choices

templar is now better than the celestant version, both 18 health/3+ save. shooting is roughly the same as now, melee output is the same, abbilities are diffrent.

Looks like SoB has the same issues as knights in 40K 🫣 too strong and they table people.. too weak they fall over and die and a quarter of you army is gone in 1 model.
