I just got my Invicta gear and what an amazing kit. It’s incredible the difference coming from a Moza R5 and SRP pedals. Within 5mins I was cutting 2.5-3 secs a lap. You are correct in that the 27nm is not needed, at all! The fidelity through your hands is remarkable. And that brake pedal is just magic. I had modded my SRP pedals to feel pretty decent compared to a lot of other pedals on different sims I have sat in. But that Invicta pedal is just amazing. Trail braking took some getting used to, but holy hell, what a difference. Like Andre eluded to, stomping on it and pulling back your toes as you glide in is just an unworldly good experience.

Hi Will, thanks for the settings! How do you set the force feedback in iracing? Maximum force at 27 and then auto calibrate the force feedback?
Little help would be greatly helpful 😅
    Thanks

Hi Will thanks for the great support and videos! I just recently received my La Prima Wheelbase from Asetek and would like to use your settings as a starting point but one key thing that I'm missing is what are your in game settings for ACC? It'll be much appreciated if you could share those too..
There are some people who recommends to set things to 100% in game, and tune everything on the hardware menu side, and there are some who recommends setting things to 100% on hardware and do the tuning to the FFB on the gaming side... Not sure which one's the way to go for my Asetek La Prima + VRS Force Feedback Pedals Combo...
    Thanks in advance..

excellent video Will - i've (finally) got my asetek LaPrima wheelbase and wheel mounted to my rig, along with pedals. Tooks some time for logistics! Is there any reason not to copy your ACC preset for my first-go of using this with ACC? only obvious difference i see is Overall Force(i can only go to 12)

hi if you play at 12nm why not take the prima I have the invicta and I was told that you have to put it at 100% and reduce the ffb in the games otherwise we don't take advantage of all the details and we transform the base invicta in the prima because I'm a bit lost thank you

Are you using the same settings on iracing as you are using on ACC? And how do like it compared to the asetek suggested settings for iracing? PS could you share the FFb setting you have on iracing

How are all of your wheels so silent? I mean usually you can hesr the vibrations through rigs and or the bases yet yoyrs always sounds silent im guessing its the rig? Or cameras and mics have an issue picking up on dampeend vibrations.

Is your forte base silent? Mines making a fair bit of frequency noise under load

To add to the Asetek wheelbase frustrations of requiring different and unique interventions to work on AMS 2 and Dirt Rally 2.0 (non-exhaustive list), I get a "Voltage too low" message and force feedback cuts out. I've reached out to their team and will wait the usual 2+ days to hear back from them. Yeah, I'm not a fan of Asetek at the moment.

Do you recommend irffb in iracing with these high end dd wheelbases?

No. I tried it and it felt terrible. Remember that Asetek already has tech built into their wheels which you can conveniently adjust in their Race Hub software. It works perfectly alone.

I am so frustrated with Asetek. Trying to play Automobilista 2 and Asetek is not supported. Spent an hour trouble shooting online, got nowhere. It would be very helpful if you mention these product compatiliby issues in your reviews. I am regretting my purchase.

The recommendations on the Asetek website blog didnt help? Did you email support - curious what they said.

@@thomasrunyan1944 They sent me a long PDF full of special instructions needed to setup wheelbase in AMS. Did work, but why did they not send this without me needing to ask. Also Dirt Rally 2.0 needs a special set of instructions and back end interventions as well to work.

@@RuardtRudiProzesky I agree, I would have expected to find those types of PDFs in the knowledge base on the website open to all the users but that is not the case. I am still struggling to get Forza 4 and Forza 5 to work properly. Will did a video that recommended using Emuwheel and Vjoy but when I try to configure Emuwheel it immediately assigns the x-axis and wont let you assign anything else. Not found a solution yet but I keep looking.
