My QR lite broke after 2 years on a csl elite with 6NM. I bought a new QR1 and now have more flex because of the tolerance between the metal.

Hello, please I need your help with my triple screen. I have an Nvidia Rtx 3080Ti graphics card so 1 HDMI and 3 displayports. I am above all a gamer so I plan to put HDMI on my 65 inch TV for my action adventure games. Then my 3 displayports on my triple screen for SimRacing. My question is if I can have a two main screen (my 65 screen for my action adventure games and the middle screen of my triple screen as a second main screen) I took a long time in order to explain it better, please help me if there is a solution for me. This looks like a pain, for me at least. While id like a formula style option for my 1st rig. I was thinking since I’ve never and will never drive an actual F1 car. I should be fine with pretending to F1 race in a normal seating and pedal setup.

ive had my fanatec csl dd 8nm with mclaren gt3 v2 for 3 years now and the pin snapped when i was racing in monaco in f1 23 whilst using qr lite. ive noticed with qr lite that after 3 years of good use, it had alot more play and was alot more wobbly. i should have purchased a new qr when it started to get more wobbly but didnt think much of it at the time. going to upgrade slightly by using clubsport steering wheel v2 and get a proper qr1, wheelbase is fine, i just need a new wheel. will probably get the qr2 but seems like its out of stock and i cba waiting, going to get the qr2 type c base side and qr2 wheel side in due time. ig we all learn ^^

How are all of your wheels so silent? I mean usually you can hesr the vibrations through rigs and or the bases yet yoyrs always sounds silent im guessing its the rig? Or cameras and mics have an issue picking up on dampeend vibrations.

Can someone help me I uninstalled the qr1 base side dd2 and when disconnecting the wire the wires pulled from the short plug now I don’t no which wires go back into the plug on the short lead on the base they are different colours , any 1 help please

I have a question. How large is the gab between the ring attached to the wheelbase? From what I can tell from your video and the Fanatec video, it appears to be roughly 1.5 to 2.0mm. Im about to test this later tonight.

Thanks for the advice and Vids. Amazing setup you have. Looks so real, vertical immersion, the sides.. having so much trouble trying to choose triple 32 VAs curved. I feel I want curved, but they all seem to have problems, something wrong. They say the large size are more of a challenge for manufacturers using VA tech which most curved are. Anything you recommend? And if not I might go 32 flats, IPS. What do you recommend? Please advise. I want solid monitors that I won't regret buying, returning and wasting time. Also don't wanna spend a fortune on OLEDs. Please advise

I’m saving up money so I can replace my desk monitors with better ones. I currently have two identical 27 inch 1440p monitors may buy a third one if available for a good prices then I can add those to my sim setup. However this will take a while since I just bought the cockpit for my setup and first my 10 year old cpu will need a update sooner or later.

Listen i love dd wheels but if you are uses to the csw v2.5 then coming iver to this wont feel as good as expected. The clubsport feels stronger regardless of ehat people tell you. That aline makes people weird out. Every person real owner ive seen compsre all want to stick with the cswv2.5 I would have wanted to also. Now the 8nm boost kit changes everything. Then its almost worth it but even then the strengrh feels so similiar and the cswv2.5 has more detail then any other belt drive out. There is a special feeling to a good belt driven wheel imo. Something about it just feels so right. Tbh I hope we see super strong belt wheels one day just for some fun and being different. Yes dd is better but it just feels differentn the magnetic pull makes tje forces feel different. A bit more rubbery tbh instead of something solid pulling against the belt and the axis its magnetic pulls. So just have to adapt most wont tell you this I wish they did me. Tbh ill be honest there is no reason to ever upgrade the cswv2.5 unless you want like a 15nm dd wheel because thats what it took me to truely appreciate dd wheels details and power. The 8 wasnt enough to change my expereince to much 5 felt worse tbh. So yeah just want to be honest here for buyers thinking about it now because I dont want people to have regrets.

This video is honestly the biggest fake video ever. It is absolutely impossible to get the collar of a DD. I tried absolutely everything and the comments underneath reflect that reality as well. This is what happens when everything is sponsored and the screws are losened before the video even started....

I changed this over like the video but still cannot get my wheelbase to recognise any of my fanatec wheels. I thought it might be the disconnection problem and that this would fix it but it does excatly the same thing with the QR2 one. Just stays in a update cycle and wants to keep upating the firmware. Three months now its been unusable with no reply from Fanatec. These really are the worst products.

I love how lewis thinks it doesnt help when max said yes its different but he feels the tip sim guys could get competative in a resl car faster then others because of sim racing. The tracks, corners when to brske or not. Even down to the markers which he does use his eyes for braking! Hes just saying stuff because he doesnt want to sim race. All of these points have been made by max and isnt it funny all of the top f1 drivers right now besides leeis are the best out there? Sim racers yes. Funny right? Haha Also there are a few videos out comparing max style on sim vs real and he drives pretty much the same way showing it side by side. Which tells us its more realistic then lewis thinks lol. If it wasnt they wouldnt be able to bring sim racers into real cars and make good laps day1. Its happened over and over again. Shocking crew chiefs and people covering laps. Its crazy. James baldwin great example of sim racer whps pro winning worlds fast sim racer. A few others do it also. So cant say it doesnt help it clearly does.

I'm making this decision still... Pedal plate is a problem if you have sim jacks with no plate ofr something similar. Extra 200 for a heel and pedal plate that you don't need if getting TR120. Also mounting peripherals.. NLR angled are problematic for this. TR120, if you get TR1 wheel mount allows heaps of flat planes to mount button boxes etc to. Also wonder if it's easier to mount reclining seats to TR120 but it might not matter in the department, both probably pretty even. I love the Ford NLR GtElite, but for pedals, peripheral mounting, and general sturdier profile it might be the TR120. I'm so conflicted on what way I should go! Haha
