Question, did your front mount come with the necessary screws and bolts? I opened mine and there was not bolts or anything and I'm hoping it was just a mistake.
Hey will would it be be able to mount the asetek invicta on my trakracer tr8 rig? I cant seem you find answers and both asetek and trakracer aren’t replying
Thanks if you could help
I guess that rules out Asetek for me. They should have just stuck to an existing hole pattern.
Would the tiltable mounts work with my trakracer TR8? Or should I just drill new holes in my rig plate?
Hi did you find a solution to this? Thank
@dannypride85 I drilled holes. Which is not difficult... but trak racer told me they were going to add mounting holes for asetek eventually. I would check with them if they did that on new rigs.
Thanks for the info!!! Have contacted both trakracer and asetek but no one seems interested in replying.
I own a nlr gt lite pro, is it possible to mount a la prima wheelbase to it? I'm looking to upgrade to asetek.
Saaaame exact situation. Did you ever find a solution? I'm new to sim racing and didn't realize how big a problem it would be to mix different rigs with wheelbases
@@kabboy2 honestly I'm still sticking with my moza r9, i just mounted the moza r9 with two screws in the front and applied a bit of loctite blue to them, and the thing is steady, I also added an additional strap to hold the front bar of the gt lite pro down and it massively improved stability. There is of course still slight shaking, but it's almost negligible at this point. Hope this reply helps.
@blwm9206 Thanks for the advice, I got everything on Tuesday, but only last night, I think I figured out what to do so I can start racing when I get home from work today. I might get some loctite then to help
@@kabboy2 yeah, but rly only the blue one, regular white loctite will weld shut those screws forever xD haha
@@blwm9206 Noted lol
Mine won't connect to race hub... No matter what I do nothing will connect not my wheel base wheel or pedals. It's all broken or something.
6:09 This mounting system really doesn't look like it will last for years. I would expect cracks in the material at those thin parts at one time in the future. What do you guys think of this?
have they made this more complicated by trying to put their own twist on existing mounting standards? I don't see the rationale for not having a normal front mount like a SC2 and a side or bottom mount like a Fanatec...and the dangling wires from the power button and kill button are just janky AF. An absolute absurdity for what the mounting plate costs. I REALLY want the Invicta to be my wheelbase as I'm currently in the market and wanting the best feeling wheelbase, but damn are they making it hard.
They've cleaned up the wires for the power/torque button. There's now 2 black plastic caps that sit over the back of the buttons to tidy everything up. I got the Forte base and wheel few days ago, extremely happy with it.
Yep, adding there own twist. A lot of unnecessary red flags added to this wheelbase.
