You are an absolute star mate. The GEForce stuff I already knew about and use in AMS2 (along with a reshader) to make it look much better but you've given me some ideas for tweaking.
However, the link to the forum article on FFB is the clincher. I was struggling with AMS2 until I read that; it feels MUCH better now 🙂

No problem mate I’m glad this could help you! Yeah my FFB was absolutely rubbish until I tried these reccomended settings out.
They still aren’t perfect though as I noticed that if you take a very fast corner like say that tetra corner at Le Mans, you won’t feel much FFB if you turn the wheel so suddenly, but bumping up the gain settings could help with that too. Still plenty to tweak!
@@alexkayracing = Yeah, not perfect so still scope for fine tuning but honestly so much improved from the default; all I need to do now is get better at the actual driving 🙂
@@Wilayaat get used to their slip angle bro, all the cars basically use it and you need to take advantage of it to be the fastest in this game. You will get there 🔥

I'm using Fanatec's recommend settings for my CSL Elite together with the Default+ settings, and although it is a bit light, I can feel the details very good. I also tried the Danielkart custum file, but the steering becomes so heavy and slow an all details in grip loss are lost.
I don't see any recommendations for the CSL Elite from Reiza. Are there any?
Hey mate thanks for watching! There are no recommended settings there for your wheelbase but you did the right thing to choose default + as it is designed for non-direct drive wheelbases to provide more information to make up for the weaker FFB!

thanks for that , good info . but should your resolution be set at something like 7790 x 1440 ? the resolution that you get in the Nvidia control panel after the Surround settings are done ? that is what i see in all other vids about settings triple and that is what i have been using for all games .
When you use the bezel free kit you don’t need to make any adjustments in the nvidia surround settings so it stays at 7680x1440! You actually have to make the “bezel width” value in simulators a negative value.

yes i run whit the bezel in game values at - 35 ishhh theres always minute adjustement ... ( triple 32 inch ) @@alexkayracing
@@benoitparadis602 yep same as me triple 32 inch! I only ever touch the bezel value in game. I’ve never had to alter the resolution in nvidia surround. Before I had the bezel free kit I remember I had to do that though.
so distance to screen is a set # and not the actual distance from screen ? @@alexkayracing
@@benoitparadis602 for me using those set values always felt best for me. If you want to try them just save your value you are using so that if you don’t like my values you can put them back :)
Hi Alex, a question... with these fairly high graphic settings, how do you do it when you want to see a replay? With a replay on 3 monitors it is impossible to have 60fps 🤷. Do you know of a way to watch the replay on a single monitor without changing the resolution settings every time? Thank you
Hi Gil thanks for watching! To watch a replay even on triple screens I’m pretty sure it was over 60 or at least 60 fps for me. I know this because I used to review the replays after a race on my AMS2 live streams with viewers.
Unfortunately for recording though,whenever I need to record replays for content etc I need change the resolution to single screen 1440p as it’s too much stress on the GPU.

@@alexkayracing strange... with i9 9900k and a 3080TI I had to put all the settings on medium low to be able to have at least 70-80fps in replay but in certain situations (like at the start with 20 cars) I go below 60fps. I don't understand where I'm going wrong
@@gil827 that is really weird cos you wouldn’t think that the difference between a 9900k and 10900k would cause something like that.
I will check again and record a clip on our discord channel to show you the 60fps But I’m trying to think how you aren’t able to get it with those pc specs. What is your RAM?
@@alexkayracing RAM Crucial Ballistix 3200 MHz DDR4 32GB (16GB X 2).
Everything runs on 3 X 32" full HD monitors (5760X1080 resolution)
@@gil827 hmm that’s very strange because your specs are like mine but it’s struggling on 1080p triples.
I’ll check again to make sure I get 60fps in triple screen replay (I’m pretty certain I do) but yes I’ll have a think to see how we can fix this one because it’s very odd
I've tried the recommended settings on the link for ffb csl dd pro but it feels very light? 🤔
I would turn the gain up as it’s only 60% in game. Try that and see how it works. 100% should be fine in AMS2 settingd
You should be using the nvidia desktop app. Then turn on rtd hdr to add hdr to games that don't have it. You need hdr monitors and windows 11 for it to work.

My issue with the game is the lack of consistency in its bonnet textures and reflection throughout its catalogue of cars. Don't get me wrong, it's my most played sim to date but it's lacking polish consistency in its reflections and textures.
Yeah that’s true, especially weird how the rear view mirror is pixelated; however the side mirrors and rear view cam are always nice and smooth

I haven’t used a simagic wheelbase before unfortunately mate, and the forum post didn’t have that wheelbase on it
@@alexkayracing yeah it’s weird, it’s not like simagic is a small brand or the alpha mini is unknown
@@FlamingCurtainyeah I think it could also be cos they just haven’t updated the post to accomodate more wheelbases unfortunately
@@FlamingCurtain With my Alpha, I just tried Default and adjusted from there, using very similar settings as @alexkayracing in Simpro (ie. WRS-60, MD-10,MF-3,MI-5,Freq-3). In-game I now have Gain-40, LFB-20, FX-20,Damping-50%.

@@phillipbeharall6271 oh my apologies sorry, honestly for me I still don’t mind the default colours in AMS2. However if you like them to be a little more pop then yes install it and just see if you like it! Then if you don’t light it just remove the filters :)
