    i have been thoroughly enjoying your video's just wanted to pass a quick pre shave tip. I use nivea active 3 soap which is a shower gel/shaving foam/shampoo in one. It's not great for shaving although it is handy when travelling, saves on weight. But I find it killer stuff for pre shave. Have a good wash with this stuff and it loosens the hairs extremely well. Might be something to consider for your site.

    Geo, I am still using the less expensive disposable razor, and instead of a cream or soap, I have begun using pure organic grape seed oil. I have found that I have less injury, less rash, and an easier cleanup then with other product. The oil is extremely pure, and is a great carrier oil for my essential oil cologne. Have you heard of this technique? Any thoughts?

    question. Suppose I exfoliate right after I shower and right before I shave, but I use a facial scrub instead. Should I still do the proces where you were rubbing the shaving cream into your face to bring up dirt and cells as well as placing the hot towel over my face? I feel like a hot shower, then exfoliating, then a second exfoliation + a hot towel would kind of irritate my skin, and I don't have sensitive skin at all.

  • @2bdefacto
    @2bdefacto Před 7 lety

    I agree with a lot but; I think the first step, is hot towel on the face for a couple 2-3 minutes, then apply lather. Applying lather first it just gets wiped off and wastes shaving lather with hot towel and water. The point is to make your whiskers soft and the shaving creme is a softener and a lube. Use the hot towel and let it sit on your face for a bit, next splash your face with hot water thats still in the sink. With water and creme mix and apply to face. And shave!

    I've heard you shouldn't leave the soap on your face because it causes excessive drying of the skin. What I have heard is to wipe off the soap then apply the hot, wet towel to soften the beard.

    You can just google on shavingknives etc on google and order them, I promise you that you'll find something :) Depending on where you're from you can always google the word shavingknife (in your own language) and there will always come up results =)
    Good luck :)
