At 6:40 he quotes the book written by the top Western experts says that "nor have scholars trying to deconstruct that image through linguistic arguments succeeded in seriously discrediting the genuineness of the Quran as we know it". This clearly shows that the Quran is not exactly the same in the past as it is today because he quotes the expert as say "seriously discrediting the genuineness of the Quran as we know it." Why did the expert say "seriously discredit the genuineness of the Quran" unless the expert knew that the Quran has been indeed been discredited in non serious ways. In other words the expert is saying the the Quran is clearly not an exact copy of of the original copy. The expert is saying that the Quran can be shown to be different now to the one in the past in non serious ways.
That means that the Quran has changed and we do not have the original wording of the original Quran. If the expert knew that we have the original Quran that expert would have said that we have the exact wording of the original. This man is not listening closely enough to what the expert is exactly saying. His conclusions are not what the experts are actually saying in the books he is quoting. He is twisting their words. This man is clearly unreliable just from the quotes that he has given on this video.
We don't have the original Quran. The missionaries at Speaker's Corner in London have conclusively proven that there are different Qurans. They brought about 30 (26 found in 2016 . Another 4 found later) different versions of the Consonental Arabic Qurans to Speakers Corner for people to see for themselves. Check it out czcams.com/video/Wa3XIfEyPVg/video.html on youtube. The two most popular Arabic versions are the Hafs and Warsh. They vary in small ways from each other so that is why the experts say that no one can "seriously discredit the Quran". They can, however, discredit the Quran in details. There are multiple versions of the Arabic Quran being printed today. The Hafs is probably the best version. The curent version was of the Hafs was published in Cairo in 1924. Prince Philip who died recently of the UK was older than it. The idea that there is only one version of the Quran is wrong. Best wishes.

      @sky-or8jz Před 2 lety +3

@Benny Little we have Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) words preserved in the collection of Hadith.
And just by reading and analyzing you'll yourself notice the differences between the style of words used by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), a human style, compared to Qur'an, whose words and style is completely different!.
Qur'an is commanding and to the point, and not like any human style like ~~ Once upon a time, or Now this happened.
Yes There are stories in Quran, but none like [once upon a time, or In the beginning, or then this happened] . While as In hadith, that is the Sayings of The Prophet(pbuh) there are many such instances, which sound human. Like {there will come a time, etc}.
And Angel Jibreel is not a show piece that anyone could see him!. That's funny of you to say that, when only Prophets could see the angels.
Tho we do have certain accounts of companions of the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) who witnessed that moment when Prophet(pbuh) was getting a revelation from Allah through Angel Jibreel(a.s).

but which quran would you reproduce then? dont you know that there are different ones? Just go and buy a quran in Tunesia and one in Iran. Compare them and you will find major differences. One is the Hafs and one is the warsh. these are not just different spellings and sounding, but completely different words in different grammar with different meaning. The fact that this channel does not mention this appears biased to me...So the "God" of the quran was not able to perfectly preserve "his" book. Which shows that Sure 15,9 is false. (Therefore the Quran contains errors). For details on the differences check e.g.: czcams.com/video/BwSkDXXpNSI/video.html or also www.answering-islam.org/Quran/Text/warsh.html

the only "proof" Muslims have Ibrahim re-build Kaaba is bc it is in the Quran. No other scripture talks about Kaaba or even Mekka. If such an important person like Ibrahim ot Ishmael were in Mekka we would have to find scriptures about it. Also Quran tells uns no messanger was send to those people in Mekka before Muhammad he was the first. This is a contradiction. The Jews lived in that area from the beginning and in Medina no Jew knew about Ibrahim or Ishmael having been in Mekka ?
They would have maybe accepted Muhammad.Muslims prayed towards Jerusalem bc they were like a judeo-christian sect in the beginning called Muhamedans or Ishmaelites.Jesus is ment all the time (24x in Quran Muhammad 4x) Virgin Mary is ment. in Quran more than even Injeel. The problem when Jews and Christians did not want to join Muhammad he went to war against them. Follow Muhammad or loose everything. That is why Muhammad changed prayer direction to Mekka.
Ibrahim and Ishmael were not Arabs.Muhammad was Beduin Arab. By islamic law you are what your father is and the line of Muhammad was Arab.Ibrahim was an Aramean. Arabs invaded and subdued the region later.

Quality content my man. I took Shahadah a few years ago, I read the Quran cover to cover, it was over 1,100 pages in English and had accompanying Arabic and English in Arabic pronunciation for each word. I still have it, it's my most valued book, only second being my Bible. I've had comments from a person claiming to be Muslim that my Quran wasn't real (he didn't like what I was telling him about Islam, I can't remember the argument) but this just opened my eyes to the fact that not even most Muslims have read the entire Quran. This shouldn't surprise anyone, it's a very long and difficult to read book of Law that requires you to be more than basically literate. Most Christians haven't read the whole Bible beginning to end and the Quran is by far a more challenging read, in my opinion! Inshallah I'll wake up one day speaking fluent Arabic and become a Hafiz. I memorized a few short Surahs in Arabic so far for Salah but say I could memorize Al Baqarah, that would be amazing! 🤲

Each version has its own chain of narrators (isnad) .
When we compare these Qur'ans it becomes obvious they are not identical. There are five main types of differences between them.1. Extra Words 2. Graphical/Basic Letter Differences 3. Diacritical Differences4. Vowel Differences5. Basmalah Difference
He "said" (qaala), "My lord knows ..." (21:4) Hafs verses Warsh "Say" (qul): My lord knows ...
Hafs version qaala is the perfect tense and therefore Muhammad is the subject of the verb, but in the Warsh version qul is the imperative and therefore the subject is God who is commanding Muhammad/Muslims. This difference is repeated in 21:112.
Narrated Anas bin Malik: Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman came to Uthman at the time when the Muslims of Syria and the people of Iraq were waging war to conquer Armenia and Azarbaijan.Hudhaifa was afraid of their (the people of Syria and Iraq) differences in the recitation of the Qur'an,he said to 'Uthman, "O chief of the Believers! Save this nation before they differ about the Book(Quran) ... (Sahih al-Bukhari: vol. 6, bk. 61, no. 510)3. Caliph Uthman solved this problem by establishing one text, in one dialect, and destroying the other versions. His goal was to remove the differences. My friend even in the times of the Prophet ppl had different recitations. How can we be sure the one we habe today is correct. Muslims have tried to make just one Quran version no matter if it is correct or not.

No prophet was send to his people before Muhammad this is what Quran tells us. So Abraham could not have been in Mekka. No mention about Abraham in Mekka in any scripture before Islam. Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem, . The mosque was built on top of the Temple Mount, several decades after Muhammad's death !!!
Muhammad and the early Muslims in Medina initially prayed towards Jerusalem, and changed the qibla to face the Kaaba in Mecca in 624 CE.
December 11 was the day when Prophet Muhammad conquered Mecca in 629. Early Muslims changed the prayer direction before conquering Mekka .If early Muslims bel Abraham re-build the Kaaba and Kaaba was the real holy site of Allah why did they pray towards Jerusalem Al Aqsa Mosque was not build yet !!! @Kh-S, No! This 7 minutes soothes Muslims in their delusion that the thousands of textual differences in Qurans from different parts of the world being used today, have no impact on the 'only one Quran' claim; on which, if Muslims did not rely so heavily to justify their theological rightness, would free individual Muslims to do their own research and listen to the discussions between native Arabic speakers with their own brain in gear. It is troubling to Christians, who have a one-on-one personal relationship with the Creator, that Muslims are expected to put the fate of their eternal soul into the hands of third parties without question, and that when they are of an age and mind naturally to question, they are slapped down with age old traditional answers that have little or no foundation in current research, or the many existing publications that LIST many of the textual differences. As with the textual differences in Greek manuscripts where Christians have to ask themselves of the doctrinal significance of those differences (the basic questions being, 'What is the good news, and do the textual differences effectively change the message?'), Muslims could explore the same questions in an academic way, without ceasing to be Muslims or giving up Islam. Do your own homework. Are scholars telling you the truth? Will Islam save you?

] The Quran, though, also tells us about some Prophets who are not mentioned in the bible. there aren't many things in the bible as well .
Prophet Saleh lived in the region of Al-Hajr, which was located along the trade route from southern Arabia to Syria. The city of "Madain Saleh" lies several hundred kilometers north of Madinah in modern-day Saudi Arabia, is named after him
Salah said O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. He has produced you from the earth and settled you in it. So ask forgiveness of Him and then repent to Him. Indeed, my Lord is near and responsive” (11:61).
Prophet hud PBUH also stated in Quran 200 years before Muhammad PBUH in Arabia region but not in Makkah.
Ibrahim and Ishmail PBUH was itself prophet founded Makkah and built Kabbah when there WERE NO PEOPLE except they and there family , how it contradicts ? Why GOD send messenger to unpopulated area?

If you check even your historian Muhammad PBUH involved in war in defense or one can break accord . Jews are monttheist but they dont belive in John, zakaria, Jesus and Muhammad PBUH that is major diffence with Muslims.
Allah said all east and west belongs to GOD , Muhammad cannot did on its own he follow what he revealed. Quran , GOD wants to expose some people called Hypocrites but they claim itself Muslims. After getting change of direction they were exposed.
Jesus PBUH is our beloved prophet like Muhmmad , Maryam is our mother and respected as more then Prophet Muhammad PBUH wife. but it does not means we start worship him and considered as GOD.
All messanger from Adam, Nuh, Ibrahim, Joseph, John, Jesus, and last messnager Muhammad have one message

      The Verse of Mut’ah (4:24)
The most important verse of the Holy Qur’an which establishes the legitimacy of Mut’ah is verse 24 of Surat an-Nisa, known to all hadeeth commentators (Sunni and Shi’a) as “the verse of Mut’ah.” ............ So when you have contracted temporary marriage [istimt'atum] with them, then give them their words. There is no sin on you for whatever you agree to after this. Indeed, Allah is Knowing, Wise.

Ibrahim has nothing to do with the Kaaba because when he traveled from Haran (today in Southern Turkey) en route to Canaan, the Kaaba was not even constructed. when Mohamed was alive, the present day site of Mecca in Saudi Arabia did not even exist. The qiblah’s did not point to Mecca (Saudi Arabia) until the late ninth century. Before this date virtually all the qiblah’s faced Petra in Jordan.Mecca is not mentioned in the Korans even once (some Muslim scholars believe ‘Bakka’ was Mecca ) but why would Allah not preserve the real name of the place of revelation of the Quran. Did the Qur'an come from Muhammad?
      The simple answer is no
Theoretically after Uthman burnt the Qurans he didn’t like (652), there was one canonised Quran. However, there is no Uthman Quran, and there never was. But if there had been (no evidence except tradition) surely such an important document from the 7th Century would have been preserved?
      Dr. Shady Nasser; he has researched the five stages of canonisation of Quranic texts and says;
      A. It was not a static text
      B. The text underwent changes
      C. Variant readings were local, so those in Kufa, to those in Damascus, to those in Medina, to those in Mecca would all be reading localised variations etc.
      C. The Quran went through seven different readings, these seven different masters of the Quran decided on how the Quran should be read. However, the students then did a different reading to what they were taught, and this happened with their students as well, so the variations of the Quran kept on multiplying.
      D. This eventually led to the Hafs being canonised by the Cairo Education Authority in 1924. Extra; this was because the high school students kept on giving different answers to the questions about the Quran. The Cairo Education Authority collected the other 29 Qurans being used, put them on a boat and sunk them in the Nile. Then Egypt canonised the Hafs in 1936, further to that the Saudis in 1985.
But there is no original Hafs, so which of his many students wrote his version of the Hafs, that is used by the vast majority of Muslims today? It is said that Hafs was a liar and not trustworthy, and that his hadith should not be learned. It has been discovered that there are seven variations of the Hafs.
      E. That originally Muslims were more relaxed and accepting about the variations of the Quran. But this began to change after 1400.

Congratulations Paul for this wonderful channel that teaches us a lot about religion in such an academic and grounded way.
Regarding the subject of this video, I have to admit that the arguments of individuals like Jay Smith about the number of quran's and the existence of Mecca should be further discussed and opposed by leading academics, something that has not been seen.
It is not enough to make a paragraph in a book saying that one does not agree with the view of some skeptics or that there is no congruent evidence.
These arguments should be discussed point by point, rather than a simple generalization denying them.
The truth is that some of Jay Smith's arguments seem to be well-founded and it takes more than simple quotes to contradict them.
I think one should have the courage to discuss these points clearly for the sake of all scholars of religion. Keep up the good work.

    I’m arab
The reading of the Quran are not different from the symbol or the letters point of view
Is only same word can be read in different way
If u are Arab or know Arabic u will understand-what I have said ...!
For example I will give one :
We have in surah Fatiha word ملك can be read for example :
Mlk or if u add sound A u will pronounce it as Malik >>> so
Mlk means king , Malik means lord >> we say that it’s actually a miracle.! Cuz with one word u have two proper meaning ! That’s why Arabs didn’t bring a book in Arabic in the level of Quran since 14th century
So the reading are written the same letters , but the way u read it is different , and every reading give proper same meaning , and it’s a miracle , but the written Quran is the same in all in Arabic :)
In English of course different translation, but not new versions as some liars try to say ..
    Thank mrs Paul 🌹🌙

Finally someone gave a perfect example because for a short while even the Arab Christians got me confused a bit... not that they can ever weaken my belief but it created a small question in my mind. Thanks for it brother!

why did Utman need to write his Mushaf al-Uthmani when there was a finished Quran already. Why did Aisha say that Mushaf al-Utmani had missing Surahs, Why did Umar say nobody has the complete Quran when most of it was lost. Why did Egypt feel the need to make riwaya of Hafs the "official" Quran why not use Warsh ???? Many different Qurans even Sheikh Yasir Qadhi said there are different ayaat in different Qurans ....Quran riwaya of Hafs 2:184 how many poor people must you feed after missing a fast? Answer: 1. According to Warsh 2:184 how many poor people must you feed after missing a fast? Answer 3 or more. This you can not explain off by Ahruf or Qira'at useless video

the only "proof" Muslims have Ibrahim re-build Kaaba is bc it is in the Quran.
