But yes, a lot of those being the one they are cheating with don't know they're in a relationship. That happened with me and 4 other girls. NONE of us knew about the majority of the others at all, and the ones that did know maybe one other girl were led to believe that the other was just friends with this guy, or a roommate, etc.

Friends aren’t supposed to back you up on everything you do, they’re supposed to call out things that are blatantly wrong or stupid so you don’t look stupid. They can have your back without agreeing with you.
Realistically if you friend commends you for doing something shitty they are a pretty awful friend. Sometimes we fuck up (usually not as bad as this guy) and it can be really valuable to have someone you trust who can call you out.

I don't know how to phrase this but as a female viewer of Lud, videos like these seem so rare in this genre, it feels like unless I'm watching CZcamsrs who very specifically brand themselves as feminist or leftist, most men seem to just go "yeah yeah ig sexism is bad but instead of actually acknowledging it and coming to terms with it I'm going to make a joke and then complain that it keeps getting brought up". I've met tons and tons of guys who on the surface are like Lud but the moment women get added to the conversation we're instantly sub-human, it's so frustrating trying to be in gaming circles yet constantly disrespected by people I called friends. I don't think I can count the number of times I've gotten "this is why I don't play with girls" from people I genuinely considered friends because I said a comment they made was sexist.

I'm glad someone said it. You can be prejudice to others even if it's not over the top can't believe what I'm seeing/hearing. I make pretty bad comments about men from time to time, I.E seeing someone say men prefer 18 - 19 yrs over 25+ and I commented it makes me sick that MEN do that, even though women do it too so like iuno we all need to do better and keep checking ourselves like Lud does ya know.

I am totally insecure ever since I found only fans on my partners phone even though we just started dating barely a month at the time. And to be clear they are the most honest, kind, compassionate and understanding person I've met so they didn't have those things out of hate, they honestly just used it for what it is advertised for. BUT seeing my mental break down from it they unsubscribed and deleted their account and then apologized which no apologies were needed so I still feel bad about that but they did so anyway and I can't appreciate them enough.
To this day almost a year later still together, as I write this just like Steph I worry if they might be looking at others again and that's on me. I don't attack women due to my fear but I do like remove myself whenever I feel 'threatened' by a woman they are in contact with because in my sensitive head if they find someone better I hope they tell me and we go our separate ways.

When he says his friend is "being a girl about it", in reference to his friend being unhappy that he bans women from his chat... That's when you know it's not his girlfriend making him do it. That's when you know he's just sexist. Even if he's had some bad experiences with women or something, there's no excuse for that kind of thing. Like it would be one thing if he had an ex who kept trying to join his streams and he was just banning anyone who seemed like they could be her, or if there was a really creepy female fan who was stalking him and he was trying to ensure she wasn't able to see what he's up to. But I feel like if that were the case, he'd explain it.
And I only mention that possibility because I've had a couple crazy exes. And I know that I would sometimes do things that seemed irrational in an effort to avoid seeing them in public unexpectedly, and not everyone I knew understood the context or reason because it's really awkward as a guy to be like "Hey, I'm kind of worried my ex might show up. She's REALLY crazy and I feel like she might attack me if I encounter her unexpectedly and say the wrong thing". So if he was trying to avoid something like that, and he explained it the right way, I'd get that. But I can't stand sexist people. It's one thing to ban someone from chat for being annoying, or distracting, or rude, or even for having a username that you don't like. But just for being a woman? Crazy. I wrote this maybe 2min in though so I'm probably missing some context.
You definitely pick your subjects carefully and I'm sure you're just getting warmed up with how bad this guy is. Just, couldn't not say what I was thinking because even today, it's not easy for guys to be open about the toxic relationships they've endured and the dangerous women they may be avoiding. I don't think any of my friends would judge me, but I edited this comment a few times trying to think of the right way to express what I was thinking without feeling like I may draw ridicule for being "weak" or "cowardly" in reference to my fear that my crazy ex could attack me in public. If I were a public figure, a streamer, I'd be 10x more afraid of what she could do or how should could impact my life and career... The way the internet connects us as people is powerful and useful, and has so many benefits. But it has sides to it that can be truly disturbing.
One of my exes hates me so much for breaking up with her that if I were streamer, she'd probably try to SWAT me. She'd probably succeed too, she's fairly tech savvy. And I only broke up with her because she kept threatening to kill herself when she didn't get her way. So seeing how his mods were talking about his girlfriend being the reason, it's hard not to imagine this guy going through something similar to what I went through. Begrudgingly making exceptions to the moral principles I hold dearest in my heart, for fear that I could be the reason the woman I love(d) ends her own life. And now, with a clear head and the benefit of hindsight, I know that she probably never would have hurt herself just to spite me. She just knew that the mere threat was enough to send me into a frenzy of concern because several of my friends have lost their lives to depression.
There was a period of time where every time I got a phone call from a strange number, I was actually afraid. And I'm not a small guy, I'm not someone with an anxiety disorder or something - my ex was just *that crazy*. I hope he's not making a horrible, unforgivable fool of himself for such a sad and upsetting reason.
