I agree AI doesn't have to be scary and can be a pretty useful tool for artists themselves, but not the way Corridor is doing it. They're claiming this first time was just a test run to see if they'd be able to pull this off, so that's why they just stole an animes' art style, and I've seen many people in their comments point that out, as if that's a good argument. The problem though is that they're using someone elses art NOW and promoting it as a new way of creating animation to their audience. Even if their future animations are going to include their original art works, that doesn't take back the sentiment they put out there already, that anyone can make animations now, without any drawing skill required, so of course people are gonna repeat that without using original work, cause that's not what was advertised to them. They just don't see they're a part of the problem and people like that are going to make it harder for AI to actually become an artists' tool, rather than an enemy and I can't support that, even though I love their vfx content.

My wife and I were hosting a Mario at sea cruise, which is actually worded Mar10, which is March 10, which is Mario day, and we wanted to bring fans together, dress up in your favorite Mario costumes and ride Norwegians go karts while in costume, have a friendly mario kart tourney and other Mario related games and activities We used a font generator similar to the Super Mario logo. That was all we used to promote this cruise. However today we recieved a cease and desist letter for promoting this cruise and using their font (which is not theirs) and framing it in such a way as to make it appear this is a nintendo event, which we explicitly stated is not. Now we have to change the entire theme and hope to have any sort of traction at this point. So thanks Nintendo for screwing us! Thanks for the video and insight into how ridiculous Nintendo is.
