Ford 8N Tractor Clears 15 Inch Snow Drift

- Today March, 13 I attempted to clear a drift across the driveway I thought maybe it was going to be to much for the old 8N but it surprised me and got the job done.

Hi there I just thought I would comment on your tractor I too have an 8N tractor and I also use it to clean snow but spent more time spinning than I did moving snow until I got really nice chains and that made a huge difference! I also thought I would say how good it started! I am going to keep my 8N till I die too if I can! But anyway nice work I can tell you’re a good operator as well! 😀🇨🇦

you might want to check out my vid titled, 8n a better snow plow, been using an n tractor for more than 50 years in southern Ontario, not a fan of pulling snow ,in most circumstances prefer to push

8n owners,notice when you lock up one wheel the other goes twice as fast,you can see it here in this vid,not an optical illusion, know why it does this?
No I’m not sure why it does that but yes I noticed it
that's wet heavy snow,competent operation, and a good operating n,but...I invight you to my channel , commen sense Carl on utube, 8n vids, gear ratios make a difference, off flat ground in those circumstances you'd be in trouble with out chains mate
Yes the snow was very wet and heavy but I was really happy with the job the 8n did. But yes chains would of been a lot better
reverse gear is effectively the same ratio as 3 rd ,Ferguson and the jubilee cut this in half,much better
Yes I have a jubilee and it’s much better in reverse
