I actually don’t use stabilizer bars either it is slightly harder on the universal joints but I like that it pulls like a swinging draw bar I much prefer it that way and that’s what u-joints are for I always grease them so they are ready for a little flexing but I don’t cut on a slope so it’s only when I turn sharp that they flex. But good to see your Jubilee mower combination is working well for you and your neighbours are appreciating it too!😀🇨🇦
Thanks Keith! Yeah I was worried about having to much swinging so that’s why I used the stabilizer bars. But I have since taken them off and it seems to be fine. Like you said just when I turn the u joints flex and it’s looks to be ok. 👍
I would definitely use stabilizer bars for mowing....it would actually remove some of the movement on the universal joints by removing the sway. Also, it would remove some of the movement on the lower lift arms which would decrease the chance of the pivot pins from leaking.
