Thanks. I do not know a ton about gaming culture stuff, so I had no idea why he put a shovel on the end of an RPG motor. So it is literally a RPG meme round. That is kind of hilarious.
As the video makes clear, it originated as a joke IRL, then into games, then back into RL.

After meticulously documenting the prep of the shovel, it makes no sense that the camera would then duck behind a branch as it was launched. Seems more of a gag. My guess is they switched out the shovel for a standard explosive so as not to waste the rocket.
Correction: Thats improvised Dirt Piercing Round for the RPG, perfect for trench targets
I don't think the camera guy wanted to be near an RPG launch. It tends to elicit a response, depending on where one is at the time.
Fun fact. The silhouette an RPG and a shovel look very similar when viewed through the fog of war.

Citing another comment here, the warhead might have been used or is supposed to be used as a drone-dropped munition, so this might be basically surplus disposal.
As far as i know there is a shortage in expensive Ammunitions, such as large calibers and/or precision guided ones. Low-Tech shoulder fired Arms should still exist in sufficient numbers.
