- They stole the President's flag, went to jail for upgrading the traffic lights or destroyed the John Lennon's Wall. These artists used the streets of Prague as their gallery and some of the stunts they did were truly amazing! Come take a look at different artists and what they did.

David’s work
In Glasgow there is a horse with a man on it people put a traffic cone on his head the city keeps taking it down but locals keep putting it back on now people would rather see it with the cone on its head
Can you Imagine if every country to have a Macho dude as you!
I'm from Kosovo I wish someone as you was there too.
I think Government need to support you too. and I Would call you
Scams Doctor
you really know how to solve a problem
keep up man 👍
I thought the fence was just ridiculous. Super video Janek and Honza!
im so sorry to hear about Honzas Grandma :(
Sorry to hear about Honza's grandma's passing and deep condolences.....
Bro please remove the exclamation marks, it makes it seem really fake
@@danb2234 I can assure you it is no fake what so ever...but if you'll be sleeping better tonight, ok....
This community is so nice.
Honza, I'm sorry for the loss of your Grandmother.
Thank you to Honza's grandmother for helping make Honest Guide possible.
Deep condolences for Honza’s grandma❤️
If the fence stunt was done In US.
*The fence would still be there for more than a century*
uhhm no
maybe there is one ongoing for years now
Well in New York they have already evolved this stunt: they don't just put up fences, they build complete sheds, some with ac, for dining on public streets and they're still standing, despite being built during the time indoor dining wasn't allowed...
I’ve been watching your videos for 4 year, because i was getting ready for my 1 month exchange program 3 years ago. I’ve memorized Prague street by street, and even knew where to go and which times to avoid. And i fell in love with the city and came to visit 2 times later! You guys did and still doing the best job ever. And now I’ve moved from Jordan to Germany to start my life here, and I’m much closer to Prague now and can’t wait for the pandemic to end so i can visit Prague again many more times.
❤️
Czech humor at its best.
I lived in Prague for few months and what amazed me there was always a new gallery I just found by accident or a new amazing exhibition inside or outside. This city is one, extraordinary piece of art ❤️🇨🇿
I am so sorry to hear about Honzas Grandma. Deep condolences for her.❤
From Dhaka,Bangladesh.
One more meaning you can attribute to the "wall is over" stunt is, that the Lennon wall used to be a form of protest against the regime, the thinks written on it, had some kind of "meaning", they were some sort of messages.
Where you could say, today it is only a tourist attraction, it's full of tags but empty of spirit.
(This is only my interpretation, what the stunt evoked in me. Non of the protagonist, as far as I now, said something in this manner.)
You have to see the Monument to the Soviet Army in Sofia. It's often used as a ground of artistic expression and social stance. Once it was painted in pink, in honour of the anniversary of the 1968 Prague spring.
its so cool, I checked photos and wiki.
A pink IS-2, that reminds me something 😄
Something similar happened in Prague in the 90's with Soviet tank
nezabudni,ze rusi zachranovali bulharske rite uz niekolkokrat
So sorry to hear about your grandma, Honza. I'm glad you had such a loving relationship with her.
Look how great Charles Bridge looks without tourist hordes !!!
I was there like a half year ago... It was incredible experience
My sympathies to Honza and his family. "The life of the dead is placed in the memory of the living." - Cicero
I lost my babička three years ago and I can imagine how it feels. My condolences Honzo.
My Grandma has influenced my love for Czechia so much, pass my condolences to Honza! Maybe we can get an episode about the elderly in the country? What their childhood was like, and their experiences seeing the country improve itself.
I am so sorry for your loss, Honza. Grandmothers always have a special place in their hearts for their beloved grandchildren. I enjoy your videos.
First of all my condolences to honza and secondly, I watcjed a documentary once where a artist in California that wrapped part of the west coast shore line in plastic and another artist who put up a frame work along a ridge on the coast and hung plastic from it creating a wind break. They had before and after shots of the result. There was a wind blowing over the ridge and became gusty at times but after the wind break was put up it was much calmer than before. The artist actually said they were thinking of getting a sleeping bag and camping out on the ridge. Both pieces of art only stayed up for a few days. Other than that not much else I can think of. There is a guy out in south Dakota thats doing a huge monument to the native America known as crazy horse. Theres videos on you tube about it. I was there in the mid 90s and its all funded from private donations and I dont think its done yet.
Im so sorry to hear about your grandmother Honzí. Deep condolences for her.

So sorry for your loss Honza! We all thank your grandma for everything because now we can enjoy great content on Prague for hopefully many many years more. 🤍
This artist also build a fence around BER airport. It stands tehre almsot 12 years. :D
The Czech Republic is a strange, special and beautiful country.
Lover from Saudi Arabia🥰
@jn!x23 ❤️. I hope that
Sending Honza lots of Love from Canada! My condolences about your grandmother. I’m sure she was incredibly proud of all that you have done with this channel and sharing your love of Prague with the world.
How is that most of Czech stuff I've seen seem so politically incorrect and yet, you can still feel the reminiscence of the past so vividly permeating every thought, word and action? Just a personal perception of a foreigner living in this czech lands for quite some time. I enjoy a lot your videos, they're very funny. Thank you for your dedication and for sharing with us ☺️ And, Honza, very sorry for your lost. I know the feeling and is really nice that you have dedicated this video to your grandma.
please, politicl corectness means no freedom of speech and we already got out of that shit. :)
Love you honza ❤️, the honest community is with you💪🏼
Please make more videos about art in Prague like this , i really enjoy it being an art student myself
Yup. But this is pretty much not art. Or at least not quality art.
Awww, so sorry to hear of your loss Honza, sending you love, light and healing energies xx
to be honest i'd like to see more episodes highlighting art pranks and likes of the sort. I want more of this for i too am into doing art that is unsanctioned.
I remember the traffic lights situation. I loved it and I was on the side of the artist. And I would like to mention I am living in Denmark now and I saw another funny traffic lights. In Aarhus they have them as Vikings, red with crossed axes and green with spread axes. Loved it!
My condolences to Honza on the loss of his granny. ⚘😔 May she rest in peace.
Honza, very sorry for your loss. I think your grand mother would be proud of you and your work. Děkuji za všechno.
This is probably the most interesting video you guys have posted by far!
Honza, I'm sorry to hear of your loss. And thank you and Janek for making a video on arts. The traffic light figure is a fun one!
Just started watching this channel and this video was very intriguing, sorry to hear about Honza’s grandmas passing, my condolences
One of the best videos of late I've seen from you guys, I enjoyed the different angle you came from with this video. I've not bothered to comment before but I felt this video was really good. Sorry to hear about Honza's Grandmother also.
Zajímavé video! Jako čech jsem o hodně věcech nevědel. Jen tak dál hoši! :)
Hey Honza, your grandma and your parents did a great job.
Deep condolences.
“Glotki” is a left over from the communist tImes when everybody was wearing these red underpants. Like the “teplaki” same outfit because the choices were so limited.
Don't ppl wear teplaky these days anymore? Just look at ppl who go shopping. Or look at the Anericans.
Have been to Prague twice and don’t plan going back anytime soon (cause after corona there will be so many places to visit!!!) but I still watch all videos cause they’re just so good! This one was really entertaining and interesting ☺️ keep up with the good work guys ❤️
One of the best videos from you recently!
That's actually amazing that they did not even try to take down the fence.
It's respectful that they basically went "yeah it's annoying but...it's their form of protesting I guess. It's...what it is made for"
Prague is one of the most amazing citys in the world, been there many times and will continue visiting. Much love from Sweden!
I m so sorry for your loss rip 🙏🏻❤️❤️
Your Chanel is the best about reviews of Prague and art in Prague
Absolutely loved and love all your videos. My sincere condolences to Honza and his family. Be well and stay safe. Xoxo
In my opinion one of the best video of your channel, guys!(from a video clips not about city guides) keep it up ;)
Deep condolences for Honza’s family and relatives. Stay strong.
Please accept my condolences for Honza's grandma.
I like those kind of crazy artists, cool video put together. :)
Also grandmothers are awesome, and live in our hearts forever!
Great one!! Keep them coming 👍👍👍👏👏👏💪💪💪 soory to hear about Honzas grandmother!
In Maryborough, Queensland, Australia some of the pedestrian crossing lights are Mary Poppins shaped because that is the town in which the writer of Mary Poppins was born
Excellent video as always!
I really miss walking through those streets. Hope that the future takes me back to there. BTW much love to Honza, she won't be gone till u forget her
Hey, great video again!!!
You guys do more good than all the tourist offices in Prague together!!! 👍 👍 👍
I'm sorry for your loss Honza. My condolences, I hope she was as good a babička to you as Božena Němcová's babička was. Carry her with warm memories and love in your heart and you'll never lose her.
This is good content, a bit of tourism, a bit of art a bit of intrigue, you learn something, you have fun and you pull a conclusion from your video.
This is amazing. I live in West Virginia in the United States and you would NEVER see art or just statues here. The only "art" we have, is the graffiti that the addicts do,and it isn't even good. We did have a local artist paint a beautiful murial right in the middle of town, and someone took spray paint two different times and painted stupid stuff over it. This is amazing.
Amazing video guys
And I feel sorry for your loss!
Honza, so sorry to hear about your loss! Sincere condolences and a big hug
great vids as usual, keep it up bro
Sorry Honza about your grandmother. I am sure she was proud of your work. It was an excellent episode, loved it. Also noticed some red shorts on page 47 of the Honest Guide book. Hmmmm.
Big bear hug honza and great tribute to your grandma - my condolences.
Love to Honza and sorry for your loss. I cared for my gran for over 4 years and she was a big part in raising me too.
This city is so beautiful and artsy that I wanna live there

Great Video, and also thinking of you Honza all the way from Scotland! Sorry for your loss.
I liked this video from you a lot. Full of interesting stuff and emotional Ending.
And heartfelt condolences to Honza on his grandmother passing away .. RIP
This was one of your great videos! More like this
So sorry for your loss, Honza. And respect for this impressive "word of the week".
And by the way: in germany there are a lot of cities with special traffic lights. Here, in Mainz, of course the Mainzelmännchen, famous little comic guys from the ZDF-TV. So for me, this should be a everywhere-art.
I just went to these places, today. Beautiful.
Just love that as an artist I find that absolutely brilliant😁👍🥰. And my sympathies for your grandma.😔 Honzas.
I just discovery you guys on CZcams and saw lots of videos.
Because of you just bought a ticket to Prague.
Thanks for al the information, your chanel is TOP.
My condolences on the loss of your dear grandma, Honza.

Big condolences for your grandma Honza. I believe she was a great great woman.
Amazing Episode 😀👍
One of the best videos, I've seen.. In looong time😁😇👌👌
Here in Dresden - Germany we also have a few funny traffic lights.
In Aarhus, Denmark they have vikings 😊
Awesome video. We meet at tbex in ostrava. See that your channel is almost at 1 million.
My great grandmother came to the US from Czechoslovakia(when it was still called that) by herself when she was 14. My grandma who is now 95 didn't really expand on how her mother managed to survive but that would of been an amazing story. It would be nice to come visit the one of a few countries of my heritage one day.
A nice day for me, the day when I met you guys !!!
So sorry to hear :/! Upřímnou soustrast ❣️ Honzo! And yeah that's perhaps one of many plus sides on Prague, that you find art in almost every corner ;)! I also as a singer/songwriter and lover of art, appreciate all sorts of art and art stunts as long they don't vandalize things like houses etc. but I do agree and appreciate all those you guys shown us in this video:D!
hello
David Černý is one of my favorite artists haha
Honza sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace and know she is looking down at you with a smile on her face.
This video is underrated. Love this
hello
(2:00) Well, i think that has to do with a lot of factors, number one: WE LOVE BUREAUCRACY! Number two: The system is so confusing, not even the responsible people look trough it all, and Number 3: Nobodys gonna notice, We build A LOT of stuff everywhere.
Sorry to hear about your loss Honza
Heartfelt condolences Honza
God bless you
We had a chief Game Designer from Ubisoft as a guest lecturer once in uni and he told us the story of how they - in the historic city center on the square in front of the church - basically re-enacted the space invaders game using the people as enemies and players (similar to how they did it in _Scrubs_ )
Sorry for your loss, Honza. The video is amazing, I just love the idea of using art to protest against the status quo.
Honza, so sorry to hear of the passing of your grandmother. My deepest condolences to you and your family at this sad time..
