Did you keep using the Makers Cabinet Ferrule please? Did you notice any advantage on precision/control, as the Kohinoor 5340 that has the same weight provides?
I'm very attracted to the minimalist engineering aesthetic but it has received a lot of negative reaction for the cost. A conventional pencil extender can be bought cheaply but for me it is the chunky comfortable grip that appeals. The cost isn't too outrageous for a small boutique machined niche offering and people pay an absolute fortune for an aesthetically pleasing, oversized, pen body enclosing a cheap convertor and steel nib. People unreasonably expect Western design and manufacture at Far Eastern prices which obviously isn't possible. Products like this inevitably come at a premium, which in this case is somewhat high but not too extortionate, as it will last a lifetime and no-one's forcing you to buy it. Yes, I'm trying to convince and justify myself because part of me really wants one.
I’m glad I was able to get on the Kickstarter for this. I enjoy it. The patina looks great. I can see how it might be too heavy for some people at 47grams.
@@greekveteran2715 I use it as a nice way to keep my tiny pencils in use longer. I definitely have better control of my pencils once they get shorter than I can comfortably hold.

I could not agree more with all you said there, Ronald
The e+m pencil extender is very good. I have the Cherrywood version.
Wonderful! I have a few Standardgraph ones, which I am also very happy with.

Yeah. Just saw these are sold out at the moment
Please, have you noticed increased precision/control, using the Makers Cabinet Ferrule, compared to using the pencil without it?
