This first-ever E-flite® Focke-Wulf is also the most detailed, best handling and highest performance RC model of the Axis warbird yet! The Fw 190A 1.5m is larger than most other models of the famous fighter, yet it's easy to assemble - and to transport and store thanks to its unique 3-piece wing design because the center section includes the main gear and the outer panels simply snap into place securely without requiring fasteners. The factory-installed brushless power system with its large-diameter, 3-bladed propeller uses common 6S 3200-7000mAh batteries to deliver better-than-scale, 80+ MPH level flight speeds and nearly unlimited vertical performance. It also has more authentic details than most similar class and smaller models. The durable, composite-reinforced airframe includes molded-in panel lines and guns, a removable drop tank and even more Extra Scale details. What a beauty this is, for sure one of the best foamies from the construction point of view. It’s such a great feature to push the outer wing parts in like that. It makes this plane so much more easy to bring to the runway.
And when it stands on the table like that, the navigation lights on, the motor slowly running, the spinner making you nuts when you look too long....just must be as happy as a child once again.
Now it’s time for a beautiful maiden flight but I imagine your hart will bounce quickly the moment you put that throttle forward!!

Its actually a Vernier Caliper.
It is nice to find people that are as obsessed with RC airplanes as myself, you guys really keep it light and fun and that is what it is about.
The measuring tool is called a (vernier caliper) in English. Most people just call it a (vernier). The FW-190 is one of my favorite planes. E-flite really out did themselves with this bird. I can't wait to see it fly it's first patrol. A big salute from Texas, Jeff.

They are the closest that I have from different parents, but as family.
It appears that whoever is the OEM of the FMS Pitts, is also the OEM of this plane. The battery tray is identical. The Pitts also has all countersunk screws. They both use the same hatch release mechanism. The motors are both 4258 460kv. Like this FW190A, the finish on the Pitts is one of the best I've ever seen on a foam plane. Whoever this manufacturer is, they are making planes of incredible quality.
I salute them!
I think that most of the good planes do come from the same production line. And I really believe that it is true.

Huge fun. This is an amazing warbird; the battery warning on the rx is cool! I also love the spinner and the perfect way in which the flying surfaces fit with thier pre-installed connectors.. Can't wait to see this bird flying. Big salute as ever from London.
I'm all wet around the mouth with jealousy and lust for this beautiful bird. Aero modelers have never had it so easy. I must say Captain Blaz and I are so much alike I’m a balsa and piston power lover but my God I am VERY IMPRESSED with this beautiful warbird. This plane as convinced me to try foam and electric. In my opinion the key is the finish on the foam it shows no foam texture the paint finish is beautiful. The only spot that lets it down are the white stripes in front of the tail (which could be fixed). I WILL OWN THIS ONE!!!!!

What a great built plane. The only thing I would change is to have brass inserts were the wings are bolted on and that's it.

Brilliant I love your enthusiasm, I want to build and fly a replica. I have only recently started building scale model aircraft again after a gap of 40 years and have been amazed at the quality of the models from central Europe and then I find you guys. For me it was always about static kits but now I want my planes to fly. Keep up the good work.
Oh yeah Robert and Blaz! I do like me some Fw-190 Butcher Bird! I have most of the foam ones! I'm not sure if Blaz performed the assembly with the same proficiency and procession as the Germans did on the tail assembly lol! I just received and assembled mine yesterday! Just one thing most people are setting the flap to elv 15 for take off and 25 for landing and 5000 batter hanging off front of try toward firewall Good Luck a GREAT PLANE!!

I use Digital Callipers to set the CG on an aircraft - its an easy assembly.....looks great - Salute from Cambridgeshire UK - Dis is it .....

Great video guys I think the assembly video's are amazing and you can see how this fits in real time which is great. Just one thing always remember to ALWAYS unplug the battery when working on or near the prop, this is a 6 cell 100amp beast and will take your finger off in a splat flip you know!

the click of the fitting sound great appears to snap in nicely and so never come apart in the air. you get what you pay for. i save up to buy and not just click the button been there done that and learned at my own expence. wish you guys had been around to educate me earlier. totally enjoy the sexy beautifull planes,cars boats if its RC it is going to give you pleasure. again if its out of you price range save more money and buy the best you can it will save you money in the long run as you will not have to upgrade anything.

Just a question: Did this FW have some ACL at the wing tips? If so there is just the connector for the aileron-servo and I so far I see nothing for the lights? If there is no ACL don't care ... maybe power comes from the servo ... maybe ...
