I love my Focke-Wulf...I bought the soft tires eflite made for this specific plane and eliminated the bouncing issue at landing the hard factory ones causes on hard surfaces...

I did say that on the HH live chat recently and why had they discontinued the smaller version...they just gave some lacklustre reply about changing technology and demand. You are right though, the Spit would be the logical follow up that would definitely sell well...starting with us two.😉
I think they will eventually make the 48", F4U4 and Spitfire in this size.

Haha I love a Stuka. Most of my coworkers hate them! Heck all of them do! But id own another if given the chance. Just a rarely modeled plane
@@StevesRC that it is. One can only hope that the E-Flite team comes to their senses and produces a beautiful Stuka in 1.5m or slightly similar size. One with a Jericho Trumpet! 😜

A Messerschmidt Bf 109 scale plane in this size. I buy it immediately
So skeptical of the reliability of those servo connectors in the wings. People are already having problems with them.
I've never had an issue, Just check before flight. flex the wings and make sure you don't have any issues.
Still waiting on my NX 8 to be shipped. Horizon keeps moving the release date. How did you get one already
I work at Horizon so I often have early samples of production items. We are working to get NX8 radios produced as fast as possible.

Question: Being molded foam, can it be re-finished?
A lot of folks repaint foam models!

@@buccanero believe it or not EPO foam is pretty durable to spray paint. But yes water based is perfectly fine
You now desperately need a Spitfire with the same spec Steve...you know it.....make it happen Steve please. I asked for it during the live chat and was fobbed off in the reply.....Convince HH there’ll be a HUGE take up. Certainly here in England.

Smart is cool but you can do the same thing with a futaba and much cheaper receiver s for a fo
False. Not quite the same thing. Futaba doesn’t have cell level telemetry and they don’t have a line of aircraft in existence that are BNF.
@@StevesRC this is true. What I was talking about and did not explain well is the receiver s and s bus boxes. I have 80 percent spectrum stuff but with the open Tx which can be a mess to deal with or the futaba we can drop a 35$ receiver in and use the reflex on 6 Chanel s with out a 7 Chanel receiver or mixing it with something I got in the middle of what I was trying to type and got messed up. But good job enjoyed video

Landing gear is strong??
Landing gear is fairly strong. Wulf's are always tough to design strong gear. If you land very hard, on grass, you may have issues, but so far mine have been good.

Just a pity that e-flite did not choose another painting ... that is, someone who has existed.
This looks like painted by a child. The fuselage just needs to be redone so it not look this bad ...
I can only hope that they stop painting these big disgusting dots.
It will make it easier to paint.

The scheme is based on a real German fighter based on a full-scale replica once owned by the late Rudy Frasca. Painted with the wartime markings of Austrian Luftwaffe pilot Oskar Bosch, the replica has been flown in west coast airshows and at the National Air Races in Reno.

That paint job on this FW-190 is so horrific, it looks like something that cane out of the Dynam or New Bright Toy Factory.
