This is so true! For me even more with the training than the diet, because my diet became a part of my personality very quickly, as my health improved. (My story can be found on my playlists in german) I am doing bodyweight-training at home for about a year now (I started my weightloss-journey with a BMI of 39,5 with a new diet and cardio-focussed exercise and added resistance training, when I was down to about a BMI of 29) , and I still think strength training is not as much fun as my dancing, martial arts and walking in the forest, but quite boring. But I just love the results, that I get from doing it (strength, look, raised metabolic rate, better performance in my other sports etc.), so much, that I still stick to it!

Well this is a very well known thing, when you're hungry it I fluences your brain and mood. This is also why u don't buy junkfood or snacks or anything unhealthy cuz when ur at home and u feel like snacking and there's nothing to snack on then u can't snack and will just have to accept that
Also: Make a grocery list beforehand and only buy what's on the list!

I've been following this fellows routine and advice for almost 2 years now. His advice and training programs work. I am 65 now and you can adapt any of his training to fit your needs. But you have to be true to yourself. If you haven't mastered your own body weight yet there is no need for barbells and weights............Abs are definitely made by eating right....

Guys, I love you and I know people are asking for diet stuff for years, but now I need to see some real calisthenics vids again... I miss them
Good food and training is the best rules !
Some extra tips on the diet portion:
1 - Commit to drinking a glass of water before every meal -- _no matter what._ If you still struggle with the occasional piece of candy, try to "crowd" it out with something else.
2 - Instead of eliminating all candy ... try a step-by-step to reduce it. Any progress is good, but if you go very, very slow... *you'll be more likely to succeed* compared to completely quitting.
3 - meal-prep. You have *got* to prep your meals in advance. If you do not, then when it's eating-time at work or school... you *will not* make good decisions. Set yourself up right.
4 - Be patient. As long as you are making progress, then _you will see the results._ But be patient. Have faith that what you're doing will pay off. Don't quit after a week, but instead, stick it out.
I have heard that we should not drink water before and after meal, or in other words we should keep one hour gap before and after meal for water because water dilutes the acids in your stomach which are produced when you eat food. So water delays the digestion process.
