Yesss this video so detail u are awesome
Bought one via your discount code . Whooo what a flashlight ! Brilliant .
Just ordered this light to add to my DX80! It’ll be my first thrower so I’m really excited to get it!
As always , Great review . Got to have one . By the way , anyone going with you into the ' DANGEROUS PLACE ', don't seem to have much luck . Brilliant .
Great video as usual, every detail you'd need to know. That truly was a dangerous place! You wouldn't catch me down there alone... even with a superb torch.
I have the BLF GT and think it’s brilliant, now it looks like I’ll have to get this baby.
You were lucky to get those shots before the Ferry Bridge Power Stations were demolished!
Outstanding show and effort Mate, cheers! 👍
You ve done great sir..love watching you ..such a detail
No way! Still bright as day from over a mile away!!
Well done!!!
Well that’s me in trouble, I’ve just ordered one after seeing this vid😂
I got the BLF GT and was very impressed by it. Now I’m waiting for the XHP70 conversion kit. That’s gonna be awesome.
Brennonicolini you can buy an Astrolux MF04S with XHP70 and around 6000 lumens.
FLASHAHOLICS The XHP 70 is only putting out 600000 cd on the MF04S, the MF04 has a XHP 35 that’s over 1,200,000 cd.
fall in love with this thrower..
Eigentlich ist die Frage, wer kann so weit sehen? Toller Kanal!👍
I think it would be more astonishing if you in fact did stand 3.5km + away and saw a faint light light up your building, or even to see it go 3.5km from the side
I was gutted the warehouse building had floodlights on it but you can see the MF04 faintly light the top portions of the warehouse. It gets hard to see if your lighting things up at around 1800m if you don't have binoculars! Dark objects like leaves have an even shorter visual range.
Ferry water station looks like 500 meters only and not 2 kms
I do appreciate your review efforts man. Flashlights these days are amazing pieces of equipment. To each it’s own. But honestly, I could hardly see that Mf04 in the middle of your review on this one.
Amazing video
I wish they made an underwater flashlight like this.
Just noticed the MF04S With the 70 has more of a wider beam but less throw. I guess if you want more flood for up close range the get the MF04S otherwise stick to the MF04 for a tighter narrow throw. Btw the BLF GT loses too the Astrolux hands down for throw but the BFL has better battery cartridges.
Really nice job on this video! I see the CW and NW actually rated for the same beam distance. Is that correct? Usually the CW will have a slightly higher rating for lumen output and throw. May pick one up soon.
Kris Young Yeah I find CW is usually brighter an doesn't get as hot, many argue NW is better for seeing objects far off due to less light reflecting off the atmosphere.
That's a freaking laser beam!!!
I dont know if i am blind or what, but did you happen to mention what camera did you use? Picture is great! And this review is by far the best that i have seen. And that flashlight is amazing. I owm the MF02 in NW and i thought that it is bright, but man!
I can't even look at my MF02 after using the MF04! The Camera is a Sony A6300 but I believe the A6500 is far better.
Respected! It is a pity that you do not have a luxmeter. and you do not measure flashlights for brightness and range. Do the flashlights really match their characteristics? Because everything can be written on paper.
I wanted to know your opinion -
1. How much in reality. range of meters. lighting at a flashlight. Astrolix MF04?
2. what kind of flashlight is really brighter. long-range. Lumintop BLF GT or Astrolux MF04?
Thank you. I'm waiting for an answer.
I have no idea really why I have bought one of these but I guess it will fun eh? 😄
what a strange combination of factors, a relatively low output in lumens yet a massive beam, I'm assuming it's down to the reflector particularly the depth of it
Sir can you upload the link of the 4 3000mah batteries that you have used in rhis review???
I got them off ecoluxshop on ebay
*thank you*
Oh my hat, that's mental!! I now have two choices... Buy this light or place a deposit on a 2nd hand car 🤣
Hey guys i am new with flashlights and i have a question, to blind temporaly an intruder is better a long throw flashlight (>1000 m) or a high lumen one (>25000) ? Which flashlight is better to blind temporaly two or more people at 1-3 m from you (A long range or a high lumen) or what i should i consider is just the width of the beam? thanks
This is late... Go with longer range... My 1260lm Olight M3XSUT Javelot hurts way more than my friends 8K lumen floodlight
still the BEST 35hi going will never be BEATEN
I just want to ask if you considered calculating distance based off the fact that you have a change in elevation from light to reference?
Justin Clemons good point, that hospital is a great deal higher than were I filmed from, probably add 100m at least.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV of you used Google maps it accounts for that distance already. Building height won't effect it unless you were very close and it was a tower or frequency antenna. (1000feet tall type stuff)
@@benbraceletspurple9108 good to know
@@benbraceletspurple9108 Beside that at an elevated location the actual distance he was shinning from should be actually a little bit farther than the Google maps distance (Pythagorean theorem).
@@dragster100 like, 20 feet.
Did you know that if you shine a flashlight into space, the light may still be on it's way a thousand years feom now?
Can anyone answer this question...I just purchased the Astrolux MF04s...and four NCR18650B batteries. when I turn on the flashlight and click my way upo to turbo mode, the light shuts itself off after about 10 seconds!! Does that sound like a problem with the flashlight or the batteries? I actually ordered the pink Samsung INR18650-30Q 3000mAH Unprotected Button Top Batteries but Banggood sent the NCR18650B instead.
Low amperage diacharge bateries. You should buy samsung 30q or sony vtcc6
Hello from 🇺🇸Harrisburg Pennsylvania 🇺🇸 is this light you are testing have a better range than TN42C V2 Rechargeable LED Searchlight I saw a video last night with TN42C V2 Rechargeable LED Searchlight and thought its the best can you give me your recommendation
The MF04 destroys all other throwers. The TN42 will have a wider beam though so maybe more useful at shorter range.
How many lumens is the cat?

*there isn't a production led light, that throws further
@Thats SoGood I don't think you understand. I was correcting the description, which says light, and that's wrong, many HID lights out-throw this one. This is the farthest throwing production LED light. There are also several farther throwing aftermarket LED lights but this one is much, much cheaper and higher lumens.
Спасибо!!! :)
I have a MF04 NW. I want one more. What to do with NW or CW? Which is better for the distance? Brilliant? Thank you.
Some say NW throws further because of less scatter, light reflecting off the atmosphere. I think CW throws further because CW tends to give more output
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV So, CW is the best, brighter :) I tested my NW and I take 2.200m :)
How is this compared to MF04. i am torn between mf04 and mf02s v2. Any advice?
MF04 is the one to get if you want long runtimes. The SBT90 flashlights get hot and drain cells quick
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV i happened to get the mf02s v2. You are right, the sbt90 drains cells so fast. I would have gotten the mf04 but they only have it in cool white. I am more into neutral light. By the way, every time i want an update on high powered flashlights, i just search "flashaholic". Thanks!

@@swifty1321 MF04S is 3 times more powerful but shines 900m less. Basically it has a wider beam due to a bigger LED but the beam isn't as bright as it is as condensed. The Acebeam K75 is better, it has a similar output from a smaller LED and goes even further than the MF04!!
The MF05 is coming out soon which will destroy all for range! 3500m or so. It's chuffing huge though

And how many times did you get arrested making this vid?
Police did arrive at the Castle ruins just as I was leaving!
Happened to me once here in texas, they were cool once they realized what a flashoholic was.
I have the Mateminco MT35 plus which is the same light. so far I've only got it to illuminate a white water tower at 1700 meters but it's so humid here, may be the reason.
@@joesalaman3503 I can't see it illuminating things further than that with my eyes, it was only when I edited the video and zoomed in I could see it casting faint light on buildings. I struggle to see it shining on trees from as little as 1000m away.
You must have a really good camera to get those zoom shots, but in a practical situation with a good pair of binoculars you should get similar results. Great video by the way.
新鄰居嚇的不輕
why this 3000lmn seems brighter than some 10k+lmn?
Because it is. Lumens measures total illumination, candela measures brightness or specifically, intensity, which also determines throw.
@Thats SoGood it is brighter. Look into it at point blank range and let me know which one is "brighter" there are two measurements of brightness, lux, and lux@1meter, which is candela.
Lumens doesn't measure brightness, 8t measures total illumination or cumulative brightness. Think of it like strength testing paracord, tensile strength is unusable, and working strength is.
Candela matters, lumens kind of don't.
Lumens okay do matter, but not very much. The 32k lumen acebeam x80gt is high enough in lumens to matter. But the new TK75 from fenix is less fun to use than the mfo4 despite having 5000 lumens
@Thats SoGood you're welcome

How much prize in INDIAN CURRENCY
You can check in banggood.in. It is around Rs.18,791 (XHP 35).
This looks like it out throws my blf gt by quite a bit, i did a video on the gt and just looking back at the beamshots this thing looks like it kills it
LumenChaser The MF04 has wider reflector by 4mm and around 300-400 lumens more. I'd be interested to review the NW MF04.
The mfo4 is 1400000 candela, the blf gt is 1230000 candela, that's an existant but very small difference.
The bigger difference is the blf suffered from severe underpriced production, such crappy under pricing it is not considered a production light and is not a contender for a far throwing LED flashl.
Ben Braceletspurple it’s not bad actually, I tore mine down to pieces to replace the led etc and it all seemed to be top notch quality.
@@LumenChaser quality doesn't change the rareness. I wanted one and could not get one, simple as that. Second hand doesn't impress me.
@@LumenChaser besides, the mfo4 is a total copy cat of the blf gt, and has a ridiculous way of carrying the light. They should have a gun-shaped handle, for normal spotlight carrying, the new light is so unoriginal I won't be surprised if lumentop sues them.
Waiting for a more intense LED with a deeper reflector and handle-carry from the bottom of the light.
Also you should not shine the light at a van like you did about 1/4 of the way in. In most places and countries it is illegal but regardless is rude, even for a split moment.
