I have my 650 Outlander stripped apart, to make some modifications and add a lift kit and rad re-locate. It’s 4 years old and I do some moderate mudding. I was shocked how much mud and crap came off it. I more than half filled a Rubbermaid garbage can. And filled my shop vac. I miss the simplicity of the old quads from the 80’s and 90’s. They were so easy to work on and there was no where for the mud to hide.
Best looking aftermarket footwell Ive seen.
Looks great. Thanks for the video.
Great Vid, Thanks for the awesome review!
Thank you for making them ! lol
Great clearance , easier removal for service and looks great. Definitely worth the cost and effort. 👍
We feel they’re the best on the market 🤘🏼
By far the best looking boards on the market!! Wish I would have known about these a month ago 😬
They have been out just no one seems to know about them.
I’d have to change out the chrome nuts to black
Great video, looks like Seth also did a snorkel update as well.
Yeah i got if for a great deal.
Nice looking setup….messaging them about a 2022 Renegade 850 XXC
Look great. I hope they come out with a pair for 1000 XMR.
That would be nice!
Best looking floorboards I have seen for sure. Too bad the didn’t have a removable panel on brake side so you can get at gearbox fill. Congrats guys 🦾
Lucky 7 looks best imo
That would be nice. It would take about 2 min to take it off so not terrible to remove it for full access.
I have the 1000 xt, I put 28 inch blackwater evos on, I trimmed lower footwell plastic to clear truning, but they rub where the footwell and fenders meet when suspension is compressed. Will these fix that issue?
It should give you plenty of clearance.
@LetDirtFly Does the clutch side leave space to remove the cover bolts? Thanks
No, but you can have the footwell off in under a minute. Stock footwells your “supposed to” be able to remove the clutch cover while the footwell is in place, but in my opinion it’s a huge pain, so I end up removing the footwell each time to save the 1000s of curse words id be saying trying to get to the lower cover bolts 😂
I also have an aftermarket skid plate that covers the footwells. Would that be an issue you think?
No it should not.
You should do a review on ur new ram truck.
What size aztecs were on before putting boards on.. I just purchased these boards and 30 inch aztecs for my xtp 1000..
We had 30s originally. These floorboards fit 32s no problem. The only think you’ll have to do is trim four plastics like an xmr. If you look at an xmr vs a non xmr, the front and rear come straight down with the floor boards. On a non xmr they curve inwards and have about 1-1 1/2” of extra plastic that doesn’t need to be there. It’s very easy to do with a piece of tape and an angle grinder.
Did you guys have any issues with your plastics lining up as good prior..got mine installed.. Seems I may have pulled the sides down maybe to far..
Love the look of these boards just wish the lines on the front were a little bit nicer considering the effort they put into following the body lines. I rate them 9/10 if they fixed those lines it would be 10/10
It's just a little trim. Not hard to do.
I got these with 32" Terminators and am getting some rub in the front when I hit bumps or g-outs. Even with trimming some of the plastic in the front I still am getting a bit of rub. Are you getting that too?
Haven't had any rub with the teraches. Marshall had a slight rub when coming down from a wheelie.
Great looking foot wells. The others I've seen have goofy bolt/spacer/nut attachment for the front wheel well covers. I'M SOLD. 1 question, do you have to remove foot well to remove the clutch cover. I've had a few belt changes on the trail so that's sort of important. As always. "Ride Hard and Be Safe" and keep the camera on. Can't wait for more 850 rebuild.
Yes, you have to remove it to get the belt box, but compared to the stock footwells, it takes seconds to remove the foot well. Only the 4 bolts for the base and then just loosen the clamp bolts and slide it off
@@LetDirtFly I thought you'd say that. I can get the cover off without removing stock foot wells now, but the trade off is a great look, easier removal, sturdier and better clean up. You're right, it should be a can am add-on. I'm still sold. Again, great video. MN Bill
I like those floorboards! Question. Do you guys have any plans on going to Mud Bash next year?
I was looking at the dates, and there is a chance that one or both of us might make it down. Nothing is concrete yet.
@LetDirtFly Okay! We have a group as of right now. If you're able to make it it'd be cool to ride with you guys!
Definately. That would be cool. I think we could hook up with 2 up and 2 down too
@LetDirtFly That's the group I'm gonna be with! Let me know if you guys can make it and we'll go from their!
Sounds good
Makes me wanna get them, they look so good. Do they make em for MAX models too?
No max models yet.
@@LetDirtFly that sucks!
Could you write down their website what state is this in well they ship to Canada I'm interested thank you
Link is in the description.
Do these allow for 32 inch tires?
At the end of the video we put 32s on.
oh, nice! No issues with the 32's rubbing?
@@LetDirtFly
These do look great. Do you have any experience with stock Can-Am mud/snow footwell pieces? Those don't completely replace the footwell but the openings are huge for drainage.
I put a set on a 650 Outlander total pain to do
Never installed, have seen them. If you're looking to stay under an inch 30 tire, they would probably be a decent investment.
None for the max models 😞
Maybe they will come out with them soon.
Very good looking. There are some ugly ones out there for sure. If I end up going Outlander these will be the ones but Im starting to think I should just go full send and get the one Ive always really wanted with the Reny 1k. Calling my banker today to set up an appt with her.
They should fit the renny too.
yeah far mudding floor baurds suck lol
These do not fit as advertised.I have them and they do not fit thirty two inch tires.......
We have 32” tires and they fit perfect with ours. Do you have a xmr or a normal outlander. XMR have stiffer suspension that lifts them. If you have a standard outlander, the suspension is soft and you have have slight rubbing because your ride height is lower
