You could replace those long bolts with some stainless button head Allen bolts, common in boating stuff. Put them in with the nut up top and you will have a nice smooth underside!
Yes they are. Great to deal with, and they go out of their way for me. My son just picked up a set of nattors from them last week. He was very impressed with the service too.
Badass! Love it. I'm pretty good at losing my religion when it comes to a install I have no idea what the dimly lit instructions are trying to guide me through. Keep all the instructions for when you get that wood burner stove you need for the garage. LoL 😂
Lol ya that install sure made me grumpy. And I can burn wood in my waste oil stove. Its just less of a mess if I stick to oil. And I have enough oil to heat for a few years. I have a few videos about my homemade oil stove if u r interested. Thanks for watching and subscribing!
I think you did a real good video. I haven’t done squat to mine. As far as floorboards or 30 inch tires these are on the menu. Shes pretty much stock. I do have an aluminum skid plate on the bottom you need some kind of shield when you go in to war. And that’s why I like your floorboards don’t want to get harpoon. I’m running the 850 Max XT 2020. Went with the Mossy oak camo trying to hide the scratches. Think I would tape off the plastic near the floorboards when installing. I haven’t mess with the crutches, warranty stuff you know. More of a trail rider. Not a mud bogged. Like you. I live in the states, Michigan. Kind of want to head to New Mexico, Idaho, South Dakota trails like that. So I haven’t blown out the shocks yet either. I like your videos you’re doing a good job hang in there.
Thanks man. Nice to get good feedback from the viewers. I don't really consider it a mud quad. I built it for trail riding. It just so happens that the trails I ride are usually full of mud holes lol.
@@RobMillerATV Is what it is ! I understand. I like your sense ability. I see you’re into it and that’s cool. So are those new foot pegs everything you hoped for? Or should there be more of a bite on them?
I just added these as well. Mine look a touch different where the brake cover is. I have one bolt for the rear of that cover and the bent is towards the motor. And a few fitment issues as well, but I needed a Grinder lol.
Great job. Canam needs to redesign the horrible floorboards. Got to take the floorboards off to change the oil filter and gearbox fluid. Putting them back on is rediculous. I don’t think I will deal with the floorboards again because my language is pretty bad. Mine is a 570. I thought they made improvements on the bigger nachines
I don't mind the cryptids. They are on my sons xmr. They don't make a tire as big as mine in a 14 inch wheel. And I like how sti preform better. They are heavy, yes. But the 1000 and the cvtech clutch turns the hell out of them. Thanks for watching.
Bought a set of these for my 2022 and the fit, (after being told they would fit the 2022) was an absolute shit show! Not happy with them at all. So out came the grinder and welder few cuts and re-welds just to make them fit. Also sent an email to far mudding and have never heard back. Buyer beware! My buddies Lucky 7's fit 10× better than these. Cool, vide my friend, drive it like you stole it!
Looks awesome!

They were a pain in the backside but they do the job. Thanks for watching!

Great video as always sir…..got me wondering if I need to look at Wild Boar or Lucky 7 for my Max XT floorboards
Thanks for the positive comment! Thanks for watching!

Those floor board look small how big is the pad for your foot I have size 14 boot doesn’t look like they would fit one there ?
I measured them, 13.5 inches
Hey rob about how many hours fit it take for total job?
I honestly don't remember.
How long do they take to arrive?
I don't remember.
Can you do mine it’s a 450 outlander 🥺
That tire is way too heavy. Get the lighter ITP Cryptids.
