Lol bro

My thoughts exactly 👎🏾
Honorable for Ferrari to make a tribute to Mazda
Game recognize game.
Mazda is that what most Americans drive for SUV
You've seen a Purosangue in person on the roads and thought they look like a Mazda?
holy crap , i was just about to say that!! the car look like my cx5
Zoom Zoom!
I love seeing gloss black plastic in a 400k vehicle, its just so incredible
fake suv
For 400 grand they could use carbon fiber instead of that sea of piano glass...
It's a crummy crossover. I don't think Karen thinks carbon is a nice look.
Rest in peace to Sergio "You'd have to shoot me before Ferrari make an SUV" Marchionne.
Guess he got shot.
well he didn't say FUV
well its not really a SUV, more just a 4 door higher GTC4 Lusso successor. SeenThroughGlass recently made a very good video about this
And it's not the most exclusive or expensive (of powerful) suv neither. The American 2025 rivian R1S got like 300hp more, the Russian aurus komendant is produced in more limited numbers and costs more.
And my 2008 cayenne GTS has a stick :)
at least ferrari was very nice with him, they made a special edition ferrari called "Sergio"
This is why Doug is the king; he's super late to review this car, there are a dozen other reviews online already, but NONE OF THEM showed us the back seat climate controls. That is wild! Thanks Doug!
Yes indeed. Skip all the bla bla how the car drives and just show me the interior in detail. Every other car journalists talks 10s about interiors 😂

715 horsepower?!?!? Dang, my kids don't need to get to the library that quickly.
Good on you for still taking your kids to a library.
Doug's the kind of guy who would give a $400,000 crossover a 6 for value
@@AdamG1983 underrated comment
Yeah, it should be a 5 tops. And styling, too.
6 is pretty good.
can someone explain to me where did like 200k-250k of the price go into? it can't be the engine. it can't be the interior, it can't be the outside - where the f does the money go why is it 400k, it's not like it's small production run planned either so what's the deal with it?
imagine trying to sell this into a country that has actual car taxes, it'd be 600-800k.
@@lasskinn474I think they would price it more reasonably there so together with the taxes it ends up around the same 400k mark.
Depends how you view value. 400k to buy, but I bet you won't lose a penny on it. In the UK these have been on sale for a while, and they're selling second hand for like £600k
People saying it's just a V12 Mazda. As if you wouldn't freak out if you saw a Mazda with a V12 in it.
Talk about a Mazda WEEEEiata!
I would expect it to cost less than what it costs. you can get like 40 cylinders of mazda with it. like, okay a suv makes sense, it made sense for lamborghini to make something daily drivable that has the branding on it. that way it makes sense ferrari would make a car that's usable like that. what doesn't make sense is that it costs so much while lacking anything that seemingly would justify the price.
what's the deal with it why it's 400k and not 200k? the pricepoint makes it a complete no go for most of the world in segments urus is in and the segment up from urus is practically nonexistent in size, the market size for urus is already small but the potential market for this is a fraction of that.
@@lasskinn474 Exactly! The pricing is absurd.
😂
Sounds Zoomy!
Those climate controls are cataclysmic! Why on earth wouldn’t they raise the dial on the screens that need it automatically?! It’s not what a half a million dollar car should have, gimmicky for the sake of being gimmicky
I thought that was so stupid as well and all the digital buttons are even worse, they completely ruined the interior with all the crappy buttons. Why is it so hard for car makers to just put real physical buttons in new cars?
It is effectively the hottest of hot hatches, but boy, that interior. A base model Buick Envista looks like a nicer place to spend time in.

TBF this is the most absurd system I've ever seen, I don't understand how it's even legal
they are trying to be "cool" and "different" to try to justify the astronomical price
@@lptomtom To be fair, absurdity bordering on dangerousness and illegality is exactly what I expect from Ferrari.
Compared to Porsche and Lamborghini, Ferrari really did put more effort into translating supercar elements to their SUV.
The hood is so long and you can tell the engine is pushed back to a front-midship layout plus it uses a rear transaxle, so it's actually got a 49:51 rear weight bias, and they actually went and put one of their supercar engines in it, even though a twin turbo favoring torque over horsepower would have made more sense and is what the other guys did.
I'm not going to call it an FUV, but I respect the engineering and lack of compromises.
different isn't always better, and charging 400k for a faster mazda with a worse interior is hilarious lol
Enzo used to say "when you buy a Ferrari you buy an engine. The car is free". Also this is no rebadged Audi
that engine bay looks like it would be SUPER fun to work on.
Proudly brought to you by the same company that requires you to remove almost half of the car for a clutch replacement.
Your not touching these at jiffy lube lol
Maybe the technicians just take it off?
you're going to be working on the engine like your Honda Civic?
I love how this car is _"cool"_ despite the fact that so many of the exterior and interior elements feel like rushed ideas, the rear hinged rear doors look flimsy and out of place, they are also tiny and impractical. the passenger screen has awful glare, the climate and heated seat controls are weird and annoying to use, and the LED buttons on the steering wheel feel gimmicky and lazy.

It's a total travesty. No different to some rapper who's here today, gone tomorrow, fitting a lowering kit and wide arches to a Rolls Royce Silver Ghost. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. 'Brand' value is a precious and delicate commodity. This is a serious miss-step by Ferrari, not because this thing has anything wrong with it per se, but because it diminishes the 'Ferrari' brand and its other products. Brand diminution is rife at the moment, because bean-counters are running the show. They know the price of everything and the value of nothing. Both Rolls Royce and Bentley now sell these ugly boxy contraptions, both of which have made their respective brands more money, but at the cost of the brand's value. You want something like this? Go to Range Rover, Jeep, Toyota. They make that sort of thing. Ferrari builds rare, expensive, gorgeously styled pieces of moving art-work, which also drive in ways that few souls will ever experience. They are the ultimate aspiration for car enthusiasts. Not some jacked up, blobby piece of shopping-mall furniture.

Enzo is spinning in his grave so fast Ferrari won't even have to switch to EV
They might as well make one. What’s a dead man going to do.
Enzo was all about the engine and this thing has a 6.5L NA V12 and he was all about making cars that sell well to support racing which this this is doing being completely sold out unlike the sf90. Enzo wouldn't be disappointed, he might be disappointed that people want this but not that ferrari is making it
Ferrari will keep making engines for as long as they legally can, I've heard. They won't be switching to EVs just yet.
Again this thing with Enzo spinning in his grave lmao. You knew Enzo personally to testify this statement? Enzo said on multiple occasions all he cares about is racing, and if SUVs gave him enough money to win races make no mistake he wouldve turned the whole Ferrari line up into SUVs. He didnt care about road cars, he was a racing purist. When people started noticing Ferrari for wins they wanted one too for the road, so he delivered, took money ... and then raced some more.
