    To make the chocolate one even better, add a small amount, like 1/4 tsp of freeze-dried coffee powder. My grandmother added it her chocolate cakes with spectacular results. Your taste buds don't register it as coffee flavor, just a more rich chocolate 🍫 !

    The reason almond milk only jas 1 gram of protein despite nuts being full of protein is because almond milk is made with just a few almonds, a lot of water and a binder such as carageenan or guar gum (both thought to cause cancer but frequently in American food)

    • @FittUpwithRahul

      Also, they spray the ground around almond trees with pesticides. They shake the trees and the almonds fall on the ground. I don't know how much they absorb...maybe none, but it is possible that they do absorb it. Heck, nothing is safe anymore. Even organic is not always organic. Europe has much stricter laws when it comes to food safety. No wonder Americans are so fat and sick. Our FDA as well as other government agencies are as corrupt as they can be. They want us sick. Anyone who does not believe that is just brain dead.

    • @FittUpwithRahul
      @FittUpwithRahul  Před 10 dny +2

      @becogiallo I did some asking around and got this. So you can use cornstarch and sweetener (like 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2-3 tbsp sweetener), or gelatin (1 tsp dissolved in warm water), or xanthan gum (1/4 tsp), or agar agar (1/2 tsp dissolved in boiling water), or even few tablespoons of Greek yogurt as a substitute for instant pudding mix. These should hold the ice cream together although I haven’t tried it myself. Hopefully this helps with some ideas.

      @RahulAdhikari Před 12 dny +6

      That’s not what I meant. Fat does not make you gain weight. A calorie surplus does. So IF you want an ice cream that reduces calories, it can be helpful yo cut down not just fats but even carbs and protein that add to calories. That’s all. Not at all saying that fat is bad for health or carbs are bad for health. That is not the point that I’m trying to make.

    • @stefaniakonstantinidou981
      @stefaniakonstantinidou981 Před 12 dny +3

      @RahulAdhikari it is not helpful to cut down fats when u want to lose weight, bc calories have nth to do with losing weight. If fat does not make you fat, why should you reduce fat? Protein only builds muscle, it cannot add weight no matter how much you eat, so why should you cut down on protein? Also, it will make the person who wants to lose eight feeling deprived and restricted if he counts calories. That s the secret. U Don t need to count calories. Just eat fats and protein until you feel satiated. U ll have a lean body if you don t eat sugars and processed foods. Sugars and processed r doing all the damage on your health and weight. And it s full stop. That s the beauty of it

      Yes it is with erythritol. It’s used alongside monk fruit (which is 250 times sweeter than sugar) to basically make it less sweet. It is safe and has been long used by humans. FDA doesn’t even have an upper dietary limit on it as it is recognized as safe. Only if you for some reason have any issues (unlikely) because of large consumption, then you might want to limit, otherwise current research says totally safe.

    Fabulous recipe using whey protein. Love it. I have no real sugar in my house, and l only have natural coco powder or use Lindt 100% in cooking certain things. There is a lot of scare mongering about zero sugar sweetners! There is no actual scientific evidence that say they are bad for you or carcinogenic. In World War II, people in Britain had no sugar and just had sweetener because of rations, Yet they lived longer and were healthier than people now. I also bet that a lot of people who are worried about sweeteners, probably drink and smoke, which is much more unhealthy! Thanks for posting cant “weight”😂 to try it. Brilliant mixture
    Of ingredients 🙏🙏 My
    Island of Jersey was occupied by the Germans and liberated in 1945. We still have a lot of people alive here that lived to over 100 Ys Sweetener did not affect them. Apologies! l was digressing. 🙏

      FAT makes ME FAT! I faithfully followed high fat Keto for over 8 years - even going ZERO CARB for a while, but not only did I gain over 30lbs more weight, my insulin resistance also went into orbit & no amount of insulin could get my blood sugar down anywhere near normal. It was a scary time.
      As my digestion, that had been struggling to digest animal protein for some time, regardless of what I tried, also had thrown in the towel & refused to digest meat any more, I had no option but to go plant-based. I started juicing to give my digestion a break, & although my BG stayed high for the first month as my body cleared out the ectopic fat, suddenly it started to drop, my insulin sensitivity returned & I had to radically cut my insulin intake by more than half (50+ units to 20 or less per day).
      Having experimented since, I can categorically state that FAT does make me FAT. I cannot lose weight unless I am virtually fat or oil free. And the more FAT I consume, the more insulin I need to get my BG down. Keto did not reverse my Diabetes, it merely maintained it because I was hardly eating any sugar. But on the very low fat Whole Food plant-based diet I am able to lose weight, and control my diabetes far better, despite all the carbs.
      FAT blocks glucose uptake into MY cells. As the low fat regime has improved my insulin sensitivity and is helping me lose weight, I am very hopeful that when my body has finally cleared out all the ectopic & visceral fat clogging everything up, that my diabetes will reverse.
      Having been on both sides of the fence, I know full well which side MY body prefers. ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL……..
      PS. Dairy fat is the worst for me. Causes no end of issues - Candida outbreaks & all sorts.
