he wasn't signed in the premier League he was signed when Leicester were in the championship
O and there are better strikers duh
You can't include 3 city players and not pick Yaya Toure, the most important signing they made in their transformation to an elite club.
If one player deserve to be there from City is Yaya Toure. So many times he decided the game on his own, even at domestic cup finals. 100% he deserved to be in for Fernandinho.
@Boring Name as a city fan, let me correct you with a few things
1. Hart was a product of the academy
2. Ederson was more of a complete keeper than hart therefore deservedly of a mention
3. If Hart was a decade signing it would be at burnley and he was absolute dumpster fire
3. Kompany was signed in 2008 therefore not during the 2010's
SuperSaiyanjin 21 ummm actually Joe Hart was not from the Man City academy, he was bought for 600k back in 2006 from my hometown club. If you're going to make an obnoxious comment on CZcams at least do your research first. Also Joe Hart was only terrible in these last few years because Pep destroyed his confidence by basically casting him out for f***n Claudio Bravo!!
De bruyne and sterling should both be on here

To expand on van Dijk a little bit: all three major clubs in Holland needed a brand new central defender, Ajax as stated went with Mike van de hoorn (which was a disaster) PSV also snubbed van dijk and went with Jeffrey Bruma (which looking back wasn't a terrible signing back then) and feyenoord arguably had the most intrest in van dijk, but had trouble affording him and at the end of the day weren't a 100% sold on him (they went with youth product Stefan de vrij, who along with godin/skriniar currently is part of a three man wall at inter Milan)
Everyone knew van dijk had talent, but at that time he was known to be a bit wild in his playing style and not fulfill his duties at the back because he always wanted to have the ball and then basically become a midfielder (which clubs in general here don't really like)
Strange because they produced Koeman and Gullit could also play sweeper like a menace. Even Van Bommel played at CB sometimes. Rio Ferdinand played like this early in his career. Bedankt voor de informatie!
He plays his youth days as CDM...he is good dribbler , passer , has pace too
The birthplace of total football doesnât like defenders who want the ball?

@@MJSONE Yeah, by being shit defenders đđ. The only reason he's any good is they let so many shots happen
The price of signings has to also be taken into account, especially in a tough comparison
Azpilicueta imo is the best signing of the decade fullstop. Not only has he been arguably one of the best fullbacks in the EPL era, but he has served Chelsea for 8 seasons and was signed for little over ÂŁ10m
@Davor Ban The difference is Azpi is now past his best. During his peak years (under Conte) he was the only LB (as Conte played him there) that could rival Marcelo. 8 years (verging on 9) > 3 so his longevity is also something I am considering. Robertson is the better player now, but at their peak it's hard to say. I give Azpi the edge as he could play LB, CB, RB
Davor Ban why are you comparing young attacking left backs to 30+ defensive ones?
Robertson isnât even close when it comes to the defensive part of being a full back. Thatâs the main attribute needed.
James Hussain I disagree. Also, in terms of duels %s Robertson is the most solid LB in all of Europeâs top 5 leagues with the exception of Ferland Mendy
In the modern game the best fullbacks are attacking fullbacks. Name one world class/legendary fullback who was primarily defensive that started their career after 2000. Lahm is the only one that comes to mind. Yet by comparison we have TAA, Walker, Hernandez, Sandro, Telles, Cancelo, Pereira, Marcelo, Dani Alves, Jordi Alba, Alphonso Davies now. The modern fullback aids attack. Robertson is arguably the most well rounded LB in the world capable of both attack and defence to a world class standard. Heck even Juanfran and Luis, generally considered defensive fullbacks, barely ever contributed defensively in their time at Atletico.
Davor Ban only one of the players we are taking about has the defensive skills to play centre back... and itâs not Robertson. VVD is the main reason Liverpoolâs defence is so tight. Youâre making out as if Robertson has been playing at the level he is currently is for years hahaha.
In fact shall we look at this season stats. Letâs see the gap between âgreatnessâ and âaverageâ
Goals 2-2
Assists 6-10
Shots 27-22
Interceptions 66-37
Tackles 53-30
Arial battles won 89-31
Both played the same amount of games. Not much between them considering one is playing for a team who canât defend and is past his prime and the other one for the most dominating team in the prem.
Also the âdecentâ player has more forward passes and less backwards one.
tom spreadbury I donât disagree with you. DA is a better defender than AR tho, I mean heâs so good he can play CB. AWB isnât very good going forward, hes more about the defensive side so there are still some out there.
A full back has to also stop the other teams winger or wide player. And from what Iâve seen stats wise not much between them in the attacking sense. As I write this DA just got another assist.
Not mention only one of the two can play RB LB and CB.
Azpilicueta is one of the most underrated players of this generation. Iâve never seen a more tactically flexible player or one that can so seamlessly play anywhere across a backline. CB, LB, RB, it doesnât matter, heâs a class act no matter where heâs played đ©

Tifo Rocks!! Great content brothers

Suprised Lukaku for Everton isnât on this list, considering the impact and amount of money he went for
In terms of financial perspective, Coutinho is the righteous player to be mentioned in this list. Whereas contribution, attributes and accolades are concerned, there are dozens of players better than Lukaku in the PL!
As an Everton fan while I'm inclined to agree, I think both forwards mentioned here just pipped him to it. He was immense for us and a joy to watch but Aguero and Hazard brought an entirely different level for their respective clubs. The only Everton player that I think could have made the list over Lukaku is Seamus Coleman but he joined in 2009 and Azpi also is just a better option
@@anuruprao2056 true but in terms of the impact on the actual club he had, rather than in comparison to quality of other players I fee Lukaku is above most others
Gary Cahill is probably the most underrated defender in the last 10 years, won everything but played with star defenders which overshadowed him, however he was consistent for Chelsea for years and now smashing it at palace. Underrated.

Anything: *happens*
The Athletic: *chuckles in story feature*
Silva is the rock that potentially held City together enough to be a team worthy of Sheikh Mansour's investment.

Stunned that you included Maguire has part of signing of the decade years back. How did you missed that
Its sad to see that even after Costa's brilliance for 3 years bringing Chelsea many titles has lost to another striker But Aguero has been exceptional. A Class apart.
But the signing of Cahill > Maguire.
Should just be Leicesterâs 11 tbh. and whereâs Salah mate?
Yeah, I mean he won back to back golden boots but I'm guessing it's because his fee was rather high at the time. Judging by the 3 main criteria they mentioned, Coutinho Aguero and Hazard just edge it.
David Moyes bought some of the best signings. Seamus Colemen ÂŁ60k. Nigel Martyn, 500k, Marcus Bent ÂŁ600k Tim Cahill, ÂŁ2.5m. . Mikel Arteta ÂŁ3m. John Stones ÂŁ3m, Phill Jagiyelka ÂŁ4m, Joleon Lescott, ÂŁ5m. Leighton Baines. ÂŁ6M.
A series on the formation of Football Clubs in England could be a good one
Fabregas in 2014/15 was instrumental. He totally changed the way Chelsea play that season.
Think Robin Van Persie to MUFC deserves a mention. Single handedly dragged an ageing united team to fergie's last league title - ÂŁ26mil well spent by sir alex.
Junino, when he signed for the Boro, or even Rav, aka the white feather, who scored a hatrick on his debut against the mighty Liverpool too,
